The mysteries of crop circles

En résumé (grâce à un LLM libre auto-hébergé)

  • The text discusses crop circles, geometric shapes appearing in wheat fields, often associated with extraterrestrial or scientific theories.
  • Studies suggest that these formations could be created by advanced technologies, such as pulsed microwaves, rather than by pranksters.
  • The text mentions strange phenomena related to crop circles, such as dead animals or physical changes in wheat stalks.

About Crop Circles

You may have seen the October 11, 2002 program on Antenne II, "C'est au programme". Journalists usually prepare reports for the release of films. This time it was for the release of "Signs" with Mel Gibson, a film where the viewer has a choice between two hypotheses, one simply terrestrial (a hoax) and the other exotic (intervention of extraterrestrials). The journalist in charge of the report had contacted me. I was supposed to be on the set with the aeronautics journalist Bernard Souanel, but my presence was canceled at the last moment. The program therefore took place in the atmosphere of futility that pleases French media. They interviewed the "ufologist" Dominique Caudron, who summarized the possible explanations in three options:

  • The Hoax
  • Extraterrestrial Intervention - "Land Art" (a technique to be defined, according to which artists practice their art in the countryside).

But what else can one expect from a "ufologist"?

If I wasn't invited, it's because I would have developed my own hypothesis, more disturbing, that of weapon tests capable of killing (we will see later why), based on the action of pulsed microwaves acting on the "nodes" of the wheat, implemented since 1981 by the Anglo-Americans. Thanks to Bernard Souanel's intervention, the program did not sink into complete absurdity. However, the "final word" was produced by one of the journalists, who mentioned a message from a viewer:

Why should everything necessarily be understood?

It's a position. It only reflects the complete superficiality of French media. If people still think they can be informed or attend real debates on certain topics by sitting in front of their small screen, they are still fed by illusions. Considering my twenty-five years of experience, I finally say that there is no more superficial and manipulable person than a French journalist.

This problem of the wheat patterns has been troubling us for many years. The reader can find in the following references images and studies that have been made on this subject, indicated by André-Jacques Sobecq, who went to investigate on site.

Another formation that would be difficult to have been made by a team of pranksters. Note again here the size of the figures in the central circle.

Another formation, quite remarkable:

Crop Circles appeared in the early 1980s in southern England with rather simple geometric figures (1980: simple circles - 1981: first triplets of circles - 1983: first quintuplets of circles... etc.) which, with the years, have become increasingly complex. Some characteristics of these formations. The presence of residual electric and magnetic fields is observed, the intensity of which varies with depth. Some witnesses have seen these formations appear in a few tens of seconds. The 2001 foot-and-mouth disease epidemic had caused very tight surveillance of the countryside by the police, which in no way reduced the number of these formations that year.

There are obviously "agroglphys" made by pranksters. In authentic crop circles, the wheat is not broken or bent. Something seems to have acted on the "node" closest to the ground. The stem then acquires an angle, of varying importance.

Researchers have conducted many studies on these altered wheat. In many cases, chemical modifications were observed in these nodes, there was desiccation and sometimes even carbonization at the level of the node (right drawing). The temperature rise is estimated at 500 degrees. There are photos showing "exploded" nodes. This fits very poorly with the work of pranksters, since in some formations it would have been necessary to process millions of stems, and... how?

André-Jacques Sobecq, who went to the site and witnessed the appearance (the next morning) of a formation that had been created near his hotel during the night, states that upon entering the site he suffered a headache at the limit of tolerance, which forced him to leave the place. Other people have reported similar discomforts on other sites. Sobecq brought back "bent" wheat, collected on site. Indeed, these formations are due to a bending of the stems, generally at the first node, the one closest to the ground. Biological analyses have shown dehydration of this part of the stem.

In Effervescience n°23 of July-August-September 2002, it is stated that "*in a formation a dead bird was found whose body had literally exploded, as if it had been cooked alive in a microwave oven. In other formations, dried hedgehogs were found. It is also noted that the wheat grains are dehydrated and crunchy. They are less conductive to electricity according to the work of Dr. Levengood."

*Jacques Costagliola sends me a photo referring to a crop circle that appeared in 1989 in Estevan, Saskatchewan (Canada). It is a dead porcupine, grilled, found in the formation: *

An aside from September 26, 2002. Microwaves kill hedgehogs in English countryside, but, used after modulation in very low frequencies (to communicate with submarines underwater, see the dossier [HAARP](/legacy/nouv_f/Crop Circles/Haarp.htm)), they could also kill whales.

I will simply give my impression here. There are things that "surface" these days. Readers of my site often help me by pointing out interesting leads. For example, the dossier referring to the HAARP project (someone will not be long in reminding me of the reference(s) of the site(s) to consult to return to the original document and cite its author(s). I will put a link immediately). For a long time, the theme of a "climate weapon" has been floating around here and there. I was really wondering about...
