Children of the Devil army and scientific world science project Manathan
| Published in 1995, this book by the author outlines the key aspects of the Manathan project, during which scientists "sold their souls." Indeed, in today's researchers' jargon, "the devil" refers to the Army. Nowadays, there is hardly a physics laboratory that does not have its "DGA" (General Delegation for Armaments) contract.
A few years ago, a brochure issued by the Army, titled "Researchers, we need to talk," included an interview with Jean-Claude Charpentier, head of the Department of Physical Sciences for Engineers at CNRS, who explained that "his department was unable to meet the demands of researchers for research contracts provided by the Army."
| This book explains the mechanisms behind such a shift and the death of science as pure knowledge. |
