My comment: If we were to worry about all the churches built on ancient mosques or mosques built in ancient churches, we would have a lot to do. My comment: You can say that again. There are Muslim extremists who will tell you that the Holy War will only end when the last Chinese person has converted. So we find a symmetrical position among some Jews, at the limit of surrealism. My comment: You now understand why moving the Omar Mosque would be an insufficient measure: just because of the lack of space. The esplanade is vast (I believe its maximum length is 440 meters). That is needed to accommodate the entire Jewish people.
