| Before discovering the Savoir Sans Frontire website, I had already heard of Jean-Pierre Petit through my husband. I knew that Jean-Pierre Petit had written many works in the field of astronomy. One day, my husband suggested that I translate one of his comics into my native language. The more I discovered his comics, the more I was astonished by this gentleman's great wisdom. Already, being a scientist and a comic book artist is not always easy, but on top of that, the subjects of his comics involve knowledge from several fields, from computing to astronomy, from economics to geometry... He explains complex things with simple words and stories, in order to share as much of his wisdom as possible for free. I find that this is something wonderful. I have been living in France for a few years and I would not have completed the translation of INFORMAGIQUE correctly without the help of my husband, who explained the double meanings of certain sentences to me and who checked all the difficult points. I am very grateful to him. Suddenly, I think of the famous TINTIN; one day Anselme may perhaps go further, because his adventures are translated into more languages than those of TINTIN, and published on the Internet. I hope that children will be inspired by Anselme's adventures and begin their true scientific adventures. DING Jun originally from Shanghai
