Koogle To Tell The Truth

KOOGLE

Give me an idea and I will move the world

February 12, 2006, updated March 15, 2006

This is an experiment. The association ATTAC had suggested that banking transactions be taxed. But these transactions would have to be known. The world is currently developing under the banner of wild globalization, with a phenomenal increase in inequalities. I read that the planet now has more than 500,000 "new billionaires". This figure is there to mislead, giving the impression that the planet is the scene of a good economic advance, while speculation is the main source of enrichment. More than ever, the world's finances are struck by the most absolute opacity.

It is not clear how men would get out of this, except by using means on a very large scale. A solution would be to encourage people of the Earth to make available the extent of their assets, their income and expenses, the state of their bank accounts, in their country or on accounts located abroad, by describing their activities. This is something feasible thanks to the phenomenal power of search engines like Google, which will continue to grow. Moreover, these systems only handle text, which represents very low memory volumes per unit. Could Google be used as an access system to "personal pages" where individuals could enter this information about themselves. Current or even future search engines could manage practically as many personal pages as there are ... human beings.

Before getting there, which would immediately moralize all economies and policies (the words are synonymous in fact), imagine that a law could be enacted requiring all people who want to "enter politics" to adhere to this "transparency and traceability convention". I don't know if one can imagine what the reaction of the political class, all political trends combined, would be if such a measure were adopted. This law would also affect high-ranking officials, all the "great civil servants of the State".

At the same time, political figures who would accept to submit to this constraint would appear. There is no need to recruit saints. Only honest people. However, honesty, in the political world and in many spheres, has become increasingly a subject of ridicule.

I see men and women who would simply apply the principle:

When one has surplus, one must know how to stop

What is dizzying is the insatiable nature of men. Why do our great men of this world never have enough? Why is Rumsfeld a shareholder of so many companies? Why, while dying, did Mitterand continue to behave as described in the famous book "Mitterand and the Forty Thieves"? How can one continue to act like this, when one is on the brink of the great leap into the unknown, annihilation for some, punishment for others.

There are several possible answers to this corruption.

  • If money brings a better life, beyond a certain threshold one can no longer benefit from it. Beyond the fact that money becomes an instrument of vanity and advertising, one can also use it to corrupt, to buy human beings, after having been bought oneself.

This race is, in fact, a vicious circle. Can a corrupt man go back? Not always. Moreover, financial ascent goes hand in hand with social ascent. The corrupt man is chained to the game that brought him under the spotlight. He is like a mafia boss whose violence and merciless character led him to the peak of power. If he suddenly lowers his guard, he will be mercilessly swept away.

Without going that far, someone who suddenly decides "not to play the game" is sidelined, deprived of media, of public appearances, of nominations, of various privileges. The circles that formed his social base turn their backs on him. Vanity and the need to forge an identity by mirroring others are powerful drives in human beings.

Other times, men who have reached the peak of the power wave may have blood on their hands, or simply have "let things happen". This is how one should see the puppet named George Bush, "a contracted actor" at the United States Century Fox. We have known others, like Ronald Reagan, and others are already in the race, like Arnold Schwarzenegger, ready to take on all roles, to recite all texts written for him.

Kennedy thought he could "no longer play the game". Summing it up in one sentence, "he thought he was the President of the United States" at a time when the evolution, predicted by President Eisenhower, was already a reality, that is, the real power had passed into the hands of the representatives of the military-industrial lobby. Kennedy was swept away like a straw. He opposed the Vietnam War, ardently desired by the arms merchants, who backed this policy, in fact, a simple search for profits, behind a crusade against communism.

Johnson was probably aware of "the main lines of what was going to happen". He also knew that if the President "had an accident", it would be him who would be put in the saddle. He was seized by the vertigo of power and it took him years to realize his mistake and finally end a conflict that cost the lives of, I believe, hundreds of thousands of Americans. When he accepted "to play the game", maybe, behind the vertigo of his ambition, he had built an image of a modern crusader. The result was simple. "The crusade" was lost. People died unnecessarily, others made money, that's all.

The same thing is happening again, with other puppets, other battlefields, but always the same profit circuits (see the excellent film "The Lifeblood of War"). What is essential to understand are the motives of commitment, the trap, the impossibility of going back.

Condoleezza Rice may still be able to go back? Does she still believe in her own words when she advises "the Iranians to move towards more democracy"? It is likely that she "rationalizes" her actions, tries to convince herself. If she stopped playing the game, she would be "swept away", immediately sidelined.

The world is not only prisoner of the wills of men and women, and of their sometimes catastrophic errors. These people behave like emanations of a totally absurd machine: capitalism. Let us dare to call it by its name, this god of the West is the only one that remains on Earth at the moment. This golden god and the only rising counter-power: Islamism, which claims to govern the world based on principles, whatever they may be.

If one refuses these principles, this law, this relentless chariot, what can one propose in return, except an image of corruption, selfishness, a scramble, which would despair people of all ages.

Capitalism, by refusing to moralize, is playing with fire.

It is not about putting everyone on minimum wage. We have known regimes that claimed to establish an egalitarian system, which gave rise to privileged classes, the apparatchiks, whose incomes were then hidden and who enjoyed numerous privileges managed by the State. In the end, the remedy was worse than the disease. To imagine total equality between human beings is a myth. Although the words "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity" are inscribed on the frontons of our town halls, they are empty words. The system works in both directions. The wealthy enrich themselves, hide their profits, export them where they can best "make them flourish". Conversely, our societies are populated by people who marginalize themselves, avoid integration, because they see it as a scam. Black market work thrives. Why declare, pay contributions, when the future seems increasingly uncertain?

At the bottom of the scale this disintegration leads to delinquency. Why study, consider finding a job, if it is to become a slave? Nowadays, getting out is automatically being smarter than others, cheating, lying, hiding. The small traders, the artisans see the State as a mere pimp who tries to take money where he can, directly or indirectly, to maintain, poorly, a growing mass of unemployed. Relocations destroy the social gains of citizens of rich countries, unleash the profits of the new rich of poor countries. Our society is structurally sick and about to pay dearly for its disorders.

Back to our utopia.

It would be necessary to be able to use a system allowing access to millions of personal pages, or even more, without the slightest ambiguity, falling into the traps of homonyms. A solution is obviously to include in the page the keywords that allow completing the simple data of the name. It also needs a "general key". I have imagined the following sequence of characters:

KOOGLE TO TELL THE TRUTH

The word Koogle does not exist in the English language and it is hard to see how the following:

"Koogle To Tell The Truth"

could be present in any random text. Unless of course it is the subject of a counter-attack by Google Bombing. I appeal to the specialists to give their opinion on this subject. That being said, the abundance of information might perhaps make it possible to create privileged access channels. Therefore, I will put this page on my website. It will be read by search engines and archived. Will the sequence "Koogle To Tell The Truth" then be easily locatable?

Is it possible to perform a search on composite elements such as

"Koogle To Tell The Truth"+ "Dupont Jacques"+France+"Société Eurexport"

I don't know. I will try. If it is feasible, then by pointing to this sequence, I should land on this page.

Assuming a technical solution can be found, what could be the purpose?

Moralize political and economic activities.

Indeed, the people creating these personal pages, who would thus make this information accessible to everyone, would affirm their decision not to have anything to hide. Their properties would be known, their incomes, the entire range of their professional connections. Can one imagine an elected official or future elected official, or a business leader, who could answer a question like:

False statements would discredit their authors. There would always be a good soul to report the existence of a Swiss account, etc.

By the way, if you search for Koogle, you will quickly find:

  • That it is a Jewish pastry

koogle

A Koogle - There are many men named Koogle, one of whom, named Timothy, does not have an excellent reputation:

The Paris Correctional Court, following a procedure initiated in October 2001 by the Association of Auschwitz and High Silesia Deportees and by the Movement Against Racism and for the Friendship Between Peoples (Mrap), acquitted Timothy Koogle, former president of the American internet giant Yahoo, prosecuted for "apology of war crimes and crimes against humanity" due to the online auctioning of Nazi objects until early 2001.

Etc....

The sequences T T T T and K T T T T also provide answers (indeed...)

On the other hand:

No document corresponds to the specified search terms ("koogle to tell the truth").

"to tell the truth" provides 2.300.000 responses ....

I created a page on my site corresponding to this approach. You will find it by clicking here. It is an experiment. Logically, when the search engine Google has indexed this page, anyone can bring this page to the surface. Try to imagine that our politicians, our business leaders, our bankers, our rentiers, our media men would have similar pages.

*Potentially, if you create a page of this kind, give me your name, your city of residence. We will make a list of people who have nothing to hide. * ---

March 14, 2006: Back from Nancy (conference at the Lorraine Academy of Sciences) and Brussels.

After this Koogle operation, there are two new facts.

  • First, a shop selling pornographic films immediately bought the sequence of characters Koogle to tell the truth to redirect connections to it. This was done in the hours following the online release of the file. The sequence of characters is a matter of communication technique. The phrase:

*Koogle to tell the truth *

does not seem to be poorly targeted. Its translation is "Koogle to tell the truth". Composed in English, it has the maximum chances of attracting internet users from numerous countries and backgrounds. If this is the case, a poor shop selling pornographic films is swept away by this positioning at the top of the address pointing to the top of the pile. Moreover, it is noticed that if Koogle is both the name of a Jewish pastry and that of a person pursued by justice, the number of calls on koogle (even easier to remember) already puts the page in 5th position. Therefore, it all depends on the scale of the movement. There are two ways to occupy the top of the pile:

  • To generate interest

  • To have a large number of internet users, or people spending their time entering the sequence of characters, associated with the commercial site to create the redirection to it (the "Google Bombing" technique). But this is only feasible if the traffic to the original page "koogle to tell the truth" is not too high.

  • Pay Google so that the commercial link appears artificially at the top of the pile. But if the internet user gets used to detecting the "string", that is, reading on the right "commercial link", the manipulation fails.

Finally, it must be remembered that "koogle to tel the truth" is not an end in itself. It is not a site. It is intended to function as a "search key". At the limit, this sequence will work for people who do not know the concept, in which case they will be directed to this page "koogle" on my site which explains "the rules of the game". For the system to work internationally, a language mention would be needed. For example:

"koogle to tell the truth francais"

"koogle to tell the truth deutch"

and maybe even, in the end, the whole sentence in the language of the internet user. But in the case of an international search, the internet user should precede the target of his search with the "key" sequence "koogle to tell the truth", which could also have been:

"koogle grisjk kk a12bn", harder to remember.

But maybe one day the number of visits to the "koogle" pages could become so important internationally that the redirection to the Jewish pastry or the person accused of misconduct could be relegated to the bottom of the pile, in front of

"koogle france"

"koogle deutch"

or, more simply

"koogle.fr"

"koogle.de"

etc....

Thus, it would be the abundance of queries that "creates the label". A way to use the existing tool Google. To be followed....

  • Finally, the second news is that a young French deputy had the idea before me. I learned that when a man wanted to become a deputy in France, there was a law requiring him to indicate his assets, his income and expenses, but that this list was not communicated to the public. This man, whose name I don't have in mind at the moment, who is mentioned in the hundreds of emails I have not processed so far and which end up blocking my mailbox, decided on his own to communicate this information. I don't know which side this man is on. But he chose to present himself to his voters and to the French ... as he is, which is already a great sign of originality. It is hard to imagine Charles Pascua doing something like that.

As soon as I have a moment, I will therefore promote this man. Not because I agree with his political ideas, which I don't know, but because he stands out by choosing to reveal his assets, earnings and expenses right away. I imagine that readers will be curious to go to his page and he will be surprised by such sudden curiosity.

I will even copy his data. Imagine that his name is Duchmoll Bernard. It will be enough to put somewhere

koogle to tell the truth duchmoll bernard député

If this "key" works, then this "key" will send to the first deputy who had the good tone to communicate his assets, earnings and expenses to us. And finally:

We don't ask them to be poor, we ask them to be truthful

This idea could spread and prove quite disturbing. More and more politicians understand that the Internet has become a battlefield where elections, the adherence to their ideas, programs will be played. Let us not forget that there are now more than three million internet users in France. The Koogle or Koogle to tell the truth movement could make internet users choose to listen only to politicians who have joined this movement "transparency and traceability", that is, created a page where they have indicated their assets, earnings and expenses.

The publication of the tax declaration does not constitute a reliable data. Indeed, when people receive high income from shares, the tax office considers that they have already paid 55% of taxes on these incomes. This deduction is called "withholding at source" (I don't know if this works the same way, but readers will enlighten us). So, if a politician has such or such income that he must declare and on which he must pay taxes, the tax office considers that this withholding at source must be deducted. This means that people who benefit from a significant withholding at source end up with ... negative taxes, the tax office returning the difference. This is the system that the French discovered with astonishment after the publication of the tax return of Jean-Jacques Chaban-Delmas, "great resistance fighter" and realizing that while the tax office was taking a substantial part of their salaries, for Chaban it was the opposite. Every year, the tax office sent him a large check. It was quickly explained to the good people "that all of this was perfectly normal, the politician having already been heavily taxed on the comfortable package of shares he had."

Of course, not everyone has the luck to be offered a comfortable package of shares in reward for such or such performance or to be able to bequeath their assets without paying the inheritance tax thanks to "the Pinay loan" (does this thing still work or has it been abolished?).

I don't know who this young deputy is. It may be the only one to have created this kind of web page where he has the audacity to reveal the extent of his assets. Since politicians have been more than doubtful for a long time, regardless of their sides, if this one were to run in the 2007 presidential elections, why not vote for him, at least? Or, if the Koogle to tell the truth movement quickly gains momentum, why not decide to reserve the voting ballots for candidates, whatever they may be, who have the courage and honesty to tell us straight out what they own, earn and spend, and how they do it.

Imagine that such a strategy works. The non-consultation of pages, although abundantly indexed, by major professionals would mean:

*- You can tell me whatever you want. If you don't start by telling us what you own, what you earn and how you spend or invest your money, if you haven't created an appropriate page, I won't listen to you and I won't vote for you. *
