Polyhedral Version
| The Klein Bottle | ... | It does not appear in its "usual" form (but how to use a one-sided bottle?). It is an eight that rotates around an axis while making a turn on itself. If it did not do this, the object would be an immersion of the torus (Article in preparation). The folds are artifacts due to the need to represent the object in an economical way. At higher resolution, this would disappear. There are similar issues with the Boy surface and a similar solution will be provided soon, but those objects will just take a bit longer to load. |
Klein bottle 3D representation
En résumé (grâce à un LLM libre auto-hébergé)
- The Klein bottle is a complex mathematical object, represented here in an unusual form.
- It is described as a figure-eight turning around an axis, with folds due to its 3D representation.
- Comparisons are made with the Boy surface, and more detailed versions are planned.
