Once again, we borrow a trick from an episode of "One Thousand and One Scientific Nights." In this series, Lanturlu is the servant of a wicked Vizier, Schatzmani. Each morning, the Sultan demands that Schatzmani reconstruct what he saw in his dream. Schatzmani then turns to his servant, threatening to have his head cut off if he fails to find the solution—something Lanturlu always manages thanks to a magical lamp. In the scene below, Schatzmani is tied as shown, in the shape of a T. The restraints are impossible to untie. He must reach the key located at C, but his ring A cannot possibly pass through the hole T.
Imagine a scene taking place in an institute for metapsychic studies. All equipment has been carefully checked, and a "medium" takes Schatzmani's place.
