As a reader pointed out to me, this film presents a very partial view of the demonstration, focusing narrowly on a small number of extremists. Nevertheless, we felt it useful to show the level of violence that could be reached, particularly in England, in response to the publication of caricatures of the Prophet in the Danish press. The reader will find a definition of Jihad as it appears in the Wikipedia encyclopedia.
Based on my knowledge of the Quran, it seems to me that the wide range of interpretations given to the various words and concepts contained in the book is inherent to the Arabic language itself, where each sentence can be associated with several different translations. Specialists may perhaps shed light on this point by citing the surahs in which the word Jihad is used and defined, providing scans of the original Arabic texts, and offering the various possible translations of these surahs.
Finally, it should be noted that it is not difficult to find numerous incitements to violence in the Bible—consider the Book of Judith or David’s raids against the Philistines. The key issue is whether one considers such passages relevant to current events or not.

Regarding this Islamist demonstration, anything is possible. Perhaps the British government’s apparent tolerance is merely an expression of the country’s traditional liberalism. Alternatively, by allowing this (small) demonstration to take place in
