Polygamy

A 31-year-old woman, a Nice native who converted to Islam, driving with a niqab, a "full Muslim veil," was fined by gendarmes who considered her clothing impaired her visibility while driving. This story drew attention to the man accompanying her in the car, Lies Hebbadj, of Algerian origin.

The Ministry of the Interior then took an interest in this man, a butcher by profession, who acquired French nationality by marrying this Nantaise in 1999, but who also acknowledges having "three mistresses," which makes his offspring twelve children. Attacked by Brice Hortefeux, the Interior Minister, the man replies that French law does not in any way condemn men who have several mistresses and children conceived "outside marriage." And this is perfectly correct.

niqab

Lies Hebbadj and the only one of his four companions with whom he is legally married, these four women, "one wife and three mistresses," having given him twelve children

This being said, we discover here that this system allows for hidden polygamy, which in passing allows mistresses to benefit from social aid allocated to ... single mothers.

I personally have a very clear opinion, not on the external signs of religiosity related to the Muslim faith, but on religiosity in general. An opinion I have clearly expressed in a previous dossier published on my site.

I will give an opinion as a scientist, and even as an astrophysicist. A few years ago, the scientific community was still wondering if other "suns," other stars (the sun is just a very ordinary star, and even the standard star in galaxies) could have planetary systems. Then came the discovery of the first "exoplanet" by the astronomer Mayor. Today (April 2010) the number of discovered exoplanets reaches 400. The initial detection method was based on the perturbations caused to the star's trajectory, so the first exoplanets could only be massive objects, on the order of Jupiter's mass. But more recent developments have shown that an overwhelming number of stars must have planetary systems similar to ours. Among them, statistically, a significant number must be located at a good distance for liquid water to exist (in the "water band"), a situation favorable for the development of a terrestrial-type life.

The Earth's escape velocity

A passing remark: the proximity of a star is not a necessary condition for the appearance and maintenance of life on a planet. What is needed is a source of energy, whatever its nature.

This can be of a different nature than photonic. In the depths of the oceans, humans have discovered places teeming with life, around "smokers," openings through which volcanic activity releases hot vapors, which mix with water. This discovery so completely overturned biological conceptions and the idea that scientists have of the origin of life, that it led to questioning whether, on Earth, it would be forms of life that appeared on the surface, which then colonized the ocean depths, or the reverse: if life on the surface had not actually originated ... in the abysses.

We have also discovered a strange closed ecosystem, in a cave that was found, in ancient times, where living species, including worms and crustaceans, were trapped and evolved to adapt to this new environment, limiting themselves to the four walls of this underground prison. There, no source of light or thermal energy, but purely chemical energy.

The satellites of Jupiter are not "in the water band." The surface of Europa is only a layer of ice. Yet this satellite, among others, could well have given rise to forms of life, simply because it is thought that under this layer of ice there should be liquid water. Why? Because the proximity of Europa and Jupiter causes tidal phenomena within Europa, which stir its entire mass and generate heat. This tidal phenomenon goes much further than the periodic lifting of a mass of liquid water. The Earth also experiences a terrestrial tidal phenomenon, daily, which no one is aware of, with an amplitude of about one meter. What causes this phenomenon: the passage of the lunar satellite. This phenomenon generates energy within the Earth's mass, which undergoes this mixing. The Moon therefore transmits energy to the Earth. And since the sum of energies must be constant, it loses energy, which makes it ... move away from the Earth at a rate of 4 cm per year (measured accurately).

Thus, the mixing of Europa by Jupiter, due to tidal effects, should not only create and maintain a mass of liquid water in the satellite, but also provide the energy conducive to the birth and maintenance of a form of life, whose level we know nothing about. A blind life, since no light would penetrate into this dark ocean. But who said that it was necessary to see clearly to live? Our own ocean is full of living forms at all depths, which have never seen a ray of sunlight!

Jupiter also mixes its satellite Io, to the point of creating the most intense volcanism in the entire solar system.

For life to exist somewhere, it needs energy and a minimum of mobility. Europa does not have an atmosphere, yet the underside of its ice sheet may be teeming with species of all sizes. The atmosphere of Mars is thin. The pressure at the surface barely exceeds one thousandth of that of the Earth's atmosphere. But it is not nothing. Mars has a meteorology, winds that carry abrasive dust, which modify its relief. It has just been discovered that there is water, in the form of ice. Scientists are beginning to think that Mars had a developed life in a distant past, more than a billion years ago, and that this life has regressed. Why? Because it simply lost its atmosphere gradually. The sun heats the Earth's atmosphere. The reader may be surprised to read that the temperature of the very high layers of the Earth's atmosphere is ... 2500°. An astronaut performing a spacewalk in such an environment would not be affected by his movement in this burning gas. Why? Because to transfer heat, the source must have a higher temperature, but also the density of the conducting medium, its thermal conductivity, must be sufficient to ensure a significant heat flux.

Even at very high altitude, the collisions between gas molecules tend to create a state of thermodynamic equilibrium, which distributes the thermal agitation velocities around an average speed, close to one kilometer per second, but which has two "tails." There are slow molecules on one side and fast molecules on the other, whose speed exceeds, which is 11.2 km/s.

vitesse_liberation

Where G is the gravitational constant, M the mass of the celestial body and R its radius. Thus, the Earth's atmosphere is constantly "evaporating." It must be replenished by volcanism, producing water vapor and carbon dioxide, which releases oxygen through photosynthesis.

The radius of the planet Mars is close to half that of the Earth and its mass is a tenth of that of the Earth. This makes Mars less dense than the Earth (4 tons per cubic meter instead of 5.5. The Earth has a metallic core of iron or nickel). The escape velocity is close to half that of the Earth, which makes Mars, if it orbited at the same distance from the sun as the Earth, tend to lose its atmosphere at a higher rate. But it is further away. Nevertheless, the temperature of a planet's atmosphere depends on the rate of greenhouse gases (CO2 and, let's recall, water vapor H2O).

All these questions are relatively new for astrophysicists, who have not really asked them until now. Let's recall that the collisional origin of the Moon, as an ejection from the collision of a primitive Earth with a dense body the size of Mars, is also an idea that has only gained momentum recently.

Planetary scientists, including our famous French inventor of the concept of "planetesimals," often say quite nonsense. We do not have a clear idea of the formation of the solar system, its evolution and its ... current state (and beyond that, its distant or near future).

A few years ago, it was possible to read that life could only appear on planets that have a satellite. Indeed, the proponents of this idea said that this presence was essential to stabilize the Earth's axis of rotation, which otherwise risked tipping over according to the chaos theory. These people based their calculations on computer models showing that it could tip over, a phenomenon that could be very harmful to any life on the planet. But everything that comes from the chaos theory, applied to planetary science, models the planets as rigid spheres, which is completely false. They could be more compared to drops of a rather viscous liquid, constantly subjected to tidal effects that are stabilizing and dissipative.

Returning to the case of Mars, it is entirely possible that this planet had a form of life in a distant past. Up to what stage was it developed? We know nothing about it. Is there today a form of primitive life on Mars: we also know nothing. It should be remembered that if a planet has plate tectonics, the geological remanipulations eventually erase the fossil traces. On Earth, the further back in time we go, the rarer they become.

Suppose we discover a form of primitive life on Mars, and why not, traces of more elaborate life, this would mark the definitive end of geocentrism.

A geocentrism that persists in the completely absurd statements of astrophysicists who admit that other forms of life could exist elsewhere than on Earth but "in a primitive form"!!!

.

It is estimated that the number of galaxies in the universe is at least one hundred billion. In each, some astrophysicists estimate that there could be a million systems capable of hosting organized life. Let's do the multiplication. According to what we estimate we know about the universe, the number of planetary systems capable of hosting life would amount to

1 00.000.000.000.000.000

One hundred million billion ....

Cautiously, some astrophysicist-authors are beginning to consider that there could be other planets in the universe that host organized life. But very quickly, these authors rush to add that it could only be bacterial, primitive life.

Are we not here confronted with an absolutely delirious heliocentrism?

I will recall, by the way, the last words of the Nobel Peace Prize speech by Andrei Sakharov, delivered in Stockholm in 1975 by his companion Elena Bonai, and usually passed over in silence within the scientific community:

Thousands of years ago, human tribes suffered great privations in their struggle for existence.

It was then important, not only to wield a club, but to have the ability to think intelligently, to take into account the knowledge and experience accumulated by the tribe and to develop links that would establish the foundations of cooperation with other tribes.

Today the human race must face an analogous test. Several civilizations could exist in the infinite space, among which societies that could be wiser and more "performant" than ours.

I support the cosmological hypothesis according to which the development of the universe repeats an infinite number of times on the "next" or "previous" pages of the universe's book.

Nevertheless, we must not minimize our sacred efforts in this world, where, like weak lights in the darkness, we have emerged for an instant from the darkness of unconsciousness into material existence. We must respect the requirements of reason and create a life worthy of ourselves and the goals we barely perceive.

Andrei Sakharov

Sakharov therefore went further, more than three decades before them, than our current scientists-thinkers. Hubert Reeves, for his part, mentions a certain lack of imagination shown by Nature, both in terms of atomic structures (the same atomic structures are found throughout the universe) and at the molecular and biomolecular level (biomolecules abound in our own galaxy, which is a real culture medium. Near its center drifts a cloud of organic matter, whose mass is 500 times that of the sun).

Pushing the envelope to a cosmic scale, he even goes so far as to consider that this lack of imagination could be the rule also in the evolution of living beings, throughout the universe. It would therefore be possible that these forms of organized life pass, at least at a certain stage, through a form that could be called humanoid.

It should be noted that when witnesses describe beings emerging from UFOs, unlike the director of the first version of the War of the Worlds, they do not talk about beings with stalked eyes, equipped with tentacles.

Before even considering that contacts could be established between different systems, which scientists deny with determination, the evidence of the existence of evolved civilizations, which Sakharov immediately imagines could be more advanced than ours, raises the question of the universality of our terrestrial religions.

A few years ago, the journalist Jacques Pradel asked a bishop, who at the time was in charge of representing the Roman Catholic community in France, what his reaction would be to the possibility that there could be intelligent creatures, other than humans, elsewhere in the universe, and the bishop replied:

- Christ may have died on the cross for them too.

We know the saying from the Hadith (Muslim traditional texts) that Islam will endure as long as man has not set foot on the Moon.

Are the Jews the chosen people on a universal scale? Is Jerusalem the center of the world? Or Mecca?

We could multiply the examples infinitely, enumerate the different beliefs of one and the other.

Can one live without beliefs?

I don't think so, since thinking is already expressing basic beliefs. I have said and written that any form of thought is an organized system of beliefs. You have yours, I have mine, which I have developed in my last book.

As mentioned in the box, recent discoveries in planetary science and astrophysics mean that we are inevitably heading towards a drastic change in our way of conceiving the universe. Recently, the English astrophysicist Stephen Hawking made some statements, following the monitoring of a series of broadcasts dedicated to the structure of the cosmos, which he directed. He thinks that the universe is full of life and even goes as far as considering that there may be planetary systems, other than our own, close enough for our radio waves to reach them, that is, at a few tens of light-years, the ten-thousandth of the diameter of our galaxy. So, very close neighbors. And he concludes that we should be discreet, to not signal our presence to neighbors who might have desires of conquest towards us, to appropriate our wealth.

A resolutely geocentric thought, which immediately denies any possibility of visits, past or present, by extraterrestrial ethnic groups. Moreover, Hawking cannot imagine for a second that if an extraterrestrial ethnic group discovered our existence, their reaction could be anything other than wanting to immediately colonize us and appropriate our wealth (the theme of the movie Avatar).

Note, by the way, that the high temperatures obtained in the Z-machine since 2005 and the future prospects that these MHD compression systems suggest make me think that in a relatively near future it will be possible to perform controlled transmutations, therefore to make anything from anything. This completely relativizes the concept of wealth. Precious substances? Which ones?

As mentioned by Christel Seval in her excellent book Contact and Impact, published by Jmg, to master a planet like ours it may not even be necessary to do so by means of weapons (for example, bacteriological). The mere fact that extraterrestrials reveal their presence and identity would be enough to plunge our archaic world into total chaos, operating a true ethnocide (as was the case when the Spaniards entered into contact with the pre-Columbian civilizations.

In these conditions, either the Earth has never been visited, or it has been or is currently, and if so, with precautions (going up to disinformation maneuvers) sufficient to maintain a high level of skepticism, fueled by a psycho-social-immunological mechanism.

Whether or not there is contact, the revelation of a presence, the mere fact that the idea of a multiplicity of civilizations other than that of the Earth can be considered, combined with a possible discovery of present or past life on Mars, will bring suspicion regarding the legitimacy of the different religious currents of the Earth's populations.

Does this mean that all our religious beliefs are just fantasies, that all the religious stories reported are just nonsense?

Is there life after death? And if so, "how would that be?" through a proper reincarnation, a final judgment, or in the arms of a group of virgins? What is the very meaning of the appearance of life and consciousness on Earth? Are these manifestations of a deep ontological meaning, or are they, as some, including Hawking, go as far as believing, just the expression of "physical laws discovered or to be discovered" (the famous TOE, theory of everything, or Theory of Everything). One may remember the phrase of this "genius" who has never discovered anything notable and confirmed, and who will probably leave no trace in the history of science:

*- If the universe has no beginning or end and contains itself, then what is the use of God? *

This phrase caused a colleague to comment as follows:

- At a time when metaphysics is in crisis, it is reassuring to note that the philosophy of the bar is doing well

Before questioning the validity of such or such religion, one can reflect on the social function and historical implication of religions, their phenomenological aspect. In the name of Christianity, the Europeans colonized the entire New World, by all possible means, trying to convert the natives, by force if necessary. The Muslims did the same when this religious current was born, managing to convert a billion human beings in a relatively short time, on the scale of history.

In the nineteenth century, the Westerners colonized vast territories, which until now obeyed the Islamic laws, in their various forms and derivations. The Pax Britannica extended to Pakistan. The Pax Francica to North Africa, to countries in Africa and the East. When Stalin created the Soviet Empire, he did the same in what became the Socialist Republics of the South.

But colonization can be done in the reverse direction, especially towards countries like ours, which are experiencing deep crises of all kinds: economic, social, political, religious and simply moral. The word "society crisis" is used. But what to say of a "people's" government where the President of the Republic, Nicolas Sarkozy, tormented by complexes due to his small stature, compensated by high heels, reveals at any moment his deep vulgarity "break, poor guy!". Where the First Lady of France, Carla Bruni, trying to make headlines, easily succeeds by appearing in an official meeting with a light dress, without a bra, showing her nipples. A government where Rachida Dati, Minister of Justice, keeps the seals, mocks desperately and openly the underpaid, overworked and resourceless justice officials, by buying expensive dresses from the State's expense. A woman who, now, exhibits in public demonstrations a child born from an unknown father. A government, which is supposed to represent the French, where the president appoints as Minister of Culture, the nephew of François Mitterrand, a cultured and talented man, certainly, but a real sex addict, a pedophile, not hesitating to tell "nothing hidden" in a book "the bad life" how he profits from the misery of Asian populations for sexual tourism, based on the prostitution of adolescents. A country where Roselyne Bachelot, Minister of Health, tried to rush the French into an operation, a real fraud harmful to their health, to serve her masters, the kings of the pharmaceutical industry.

All this paves the way for the National Front, an extreme right that is no better than this corrupt left.

How can one be surprised that men and women, in search of religion (from the Latin religare, meaning to tie), turn away from the Roman Catholic Church, once the moral pillar of the country France, whose shepherd, Pope Benedict XVI, covered up for years the pedophilic abuses committed by his high-ranking clergy. In the American continent, a religious person abused more than two hundred children who, physically disabled, deaf and mute, were unable to defend themselves.

The Muslim countries have nothing to say, where slavery, which I saw with my own eyes in Dubai, is still in use. In Saudi Arabia, the guardian of the holy places dear to a billion human beings, seven thousand princes squander fortunes in the most sterile and indecent way, boasting "the benefits of luxury." A country where hands are amputated from thieves, following the Islamic law, the sharia, and where imams, accompanied by their four wives, some minors, hang adulterers and homosexuals.

The right-wing man Charles Mauras once said "when peoples cease to value, they cease to obey." Without agreeing with the views of this man, one can only say that this sentence, today, resonates powerfully.

The extreme right, a solution? Come on! When I was a child, the extreme right Parisians painted on the walls the inscription "a king, why not?" As my friend reminded me yesterday, this kind of option evokes the fable of La Fontaine " [The Frogs Who Ask for a King](/legacy/find/hep-th/1/au_+Steer_D/0/1/0/all/0/les grenouilles_qui_demandent_un_roi.htm)". At first, Jupiter sends them ... a log. But this choice does not satisfy them, due to the inertia of this "king." Then, tired of their complaints, Jupiter sends them a ... heron, which devours them. The extreme right is the heron.

How can one be surprised that the young people from the suburbs, the beurs or the non-beurs, abandoned by an interior minister who spoke of cleaning the suburbs with a carpet, are sensitive to the songs of the "beards" who extol the merits of a pure and hard Islamic society, advocating "flawless virtue," full of unbreakable rules.

In France, as in most European countries, the Muslim communities are thriving, thanks to a high birth rate in families and immigration. The Muslim religion is not just a simple set of beliefs and dietary prohibitions. It does not operate "behind closed doors" like the Jewish religion. It contains life rules, set out in the Islamic law, the sharia. Polygamy is part of it, as well as the possibility, for a Muslim, to repudiate one of his wives at will. In Islamic republics, religious tolerance is not in place. If everyone can become Muslim, by simply pronouncing sacred phrases, if one sticks to the strictest tradition, apostasy (renouncing this one religious faith) is punishable by the death penalty. France is a secular country, since the promulgation of the law separating the Church and the State, which dates back only to the beginning of this century (1905) and was obtained only through a hard struggle.

A clarification provided by a reader, Blanche Monavar, from the eastern departments, which were not part of France in 1905, the issue is managed by the Alsace-Moselle Concordat. This has led to the deposit of a bill submitted by the deputy François Grosdidier, (UMP), aiming to grant the Muslim religion the same benefits.

Personally, if I had been a deputy, I would have proposed a law abolishing all subsidies to these Catholic, Protestant and Jewish churches in Alsace and Moselle, to establish full and complete secularism throughout the country.

But it is certain that such a position would immediately ensure the UMP deputy Grosdidier the entire electoral votes from the local Muslim community.

For the entire French population, it represents 10% of the citizens today. Given the fertility of this community, with men who, in addition, use the resources of our laws to practice de facto polygamy, the Islamization of France seems inevitable, in the long run, and is only a matter of decades.

In Islamic republics, where political and religious powers are merged, this separation is meaningless.

How many women in France are currently moving in public spaces, wearing the full veil, the niqab?

Two thousand

This number will only increase. This recent case, of this Nantaise butcher, of Algerian origin, who obtained French nationality by marriage with a Frenchwoman, openly says he has "one wife and three mistresses," these four companions having given him twelve children. The three unmarried companions benefit from social aid intended for "single mothers." In France, polygamy is punishable by a fine of 45,000 euros and two years in prison, but not adultery, and the fact of having children out of wedlock, "from another bed than the marital bed." Therefore, the situation of this Lies Hebbadj is a de facto polygamy, denied by the individual, perfectly compatible with French law, before which the justice has no recourse.

Lies Habbadj could, quite rightly, laugh at us by simply mentioning the situation of our late socialist President, French Mitterand, father of a daughter, Mazarine, "conceived outside marriage."

mitterand

President François Mitterand in 1984

This remained secret for a long time. I once received the confidences of a French journalist, in 1991, who at that time had been given the order in the editorial offices: whoever reveals this situation will pay with his life.

The existence of Mazarine, the "natural" daughter of Mitterand, was revealed by the essayist and pamphleteer journalist Jean Edern Hallier. Consult, via this link, the impressive list of his defamation convictions, including two by Bernard Tapie.

Edern Hallier

After repeatedly saying that he thought his life was in danger, he died due to a .. bicycle accident that occurred without witnesses. On the same day, the safe of the hotel where he was staying was broken into, which was supposed to contain compromising documents, regarding François Mitterand and Roland Dumas.

In 1982 Edern Hallier was suspected of having faked a kidnapping. It should be noted that in terms of simulation, with François Mitterand, with whom he was initially very close, he had been well trained. Refer to the case of the Gardens of the Observatory:

In October 1959, the Observatory attack took place, in which François Mitterand was involved and which led to his being charged with insulting a magistrate on the grounds that he had himself ordered it in order to regain the favor of the public opinion. The 1966 amnesty law ended the proceedings.

Mitterrand_1959

Regarding the social aid that children of adultery could benefit from, the same Habbadj could continue to laugh at us, always referring to the behavior of a French President. One year, when young Mazarine was spending her holidays in a state property, Fort Brégançon, her cat escaped. The president mobilized the public force to have it recovered and brought back to his daughter.

There remains the question of ostentatious manifestations of religious affiliation. Personally, I am against any form of manifestation in public places, regardless of the nature. I am against the Muslim Niqab, the Jewish Kippa, the nun's wimple, and the Catholic priests walking in cassocks.

Gendarmes thought it appropriate to fine a woman driving a vehicle and wearing the Niqab, citing that it impaired her visibility. Played on such a terrain, the game is lost in advance.

I think the only way to curb the rise of these ostentatious dress codes would be to create:

**

A law requiring that any person moving in public places in France can be visually identified at any time, meaning that they must travel with their face uncovered, the wearing of sunglasses being a tolerance, which can be removed at any time, upon request by the authorities.

May 14, 2010: The idea of a bill banning the full veil could not pass, due to lack of legal arguments.

burqa advice from the state council

Only the requirement for visual identification by public officials and sworn officials during a walk in public places, in public transport, could have passed. But the prerequisite would be the cancellation of subsidies for the ministers of religion in the departments benefiting from an exemption, to reaffirm the secular nature of the country France. Before making demands, one must be able to clean up one's own house

May 2010: An airplane had to land to disembark two passengers, a couple. The woman, covered in a burqa, refused to show her face. It will be necessary to create internal regulations in transport: ensure that employees can at any time require to see their customers' faces. Otherwise, a passenger can give up their seat to someone else, who will take theirs.

But perhaps this request falls under the violation of religious rules?

I believe that in this case, the women wearing a Burka or Niqab will have to use Islamic transport means.

Regarding these customs of another age, one can also mention clitoridectomy, the removal of the clitoris from young girls. Custom of African origin, a necessary rite of passage to be integrated into a clan (in fact, it comes from an obsessive idea "to remove the male part from women, to make them more fertile". It dates back to prehistory).

I remember a French woman of African origin, a nurse, who said that she had chosen to perform the operation on her own daughter, but in good conditions of asepsis and under local anesthesia....

May 9, 2010: A reader sent me a powerpoint that is supposed to count what an imam, who is married twice, father of twelve children, receives, all net of taxes. I don't know if these informations are true. The supporting documents are missing and this powerpoint has no author. It suggests, and an investigation needs to be done, that an Imam living in France would have obtained that his second wife could be supported by the State, which would be illegal according to French law. You can check.

The readers checked. This powerpoint turned out to be a hoax

Who puts up this kind of fake, and why?

On the other hand, the polygamy of Lies Hebbadj, who has a French wife, through which he obtained French nationality and three mistresses benefiting from social aid, is not a hoax. He himself admits it without the slightest embarrassment. It is a real fact.

What European solidarity?

An airplane accident occurred in Smolensk on April 10, 2010, while the Polish President Lech Kaczyński was going to the site of Katyn, in Russian territory, on the occasion of the anniversary of the day when 14,500 officers, non-commissioned officers, students and members of the Polish intelligentsia were massacred, which decapitated the country's government, causing the death, not only of the president, but of 30% of the country's ministers.

Various comments are circulating regarding the circumstances of this tragic accident, the plane missing the runway, in thick fog, and colliding with the trees of a nearby forest. No survivors.

The Poles have not forgotten that members of their government in exile also died in an airplane accident 67 years earlier. Read the story of General Wladislaw Sikorski. He first participated in 1920 in the war opposing the "White Poland" to the Bolsheviks, who at that time wished to export their revolutionary movement to Europe, and particularly to Germany. After violent border battles, in which the young officer Charles de Gaulle participated as a military advisor, which earned him a decoration, a peace agreement was signed.

In 1939, near the defeat of Poland against the Nazi forces, he was appointed Prime Minister of the Polish Republic, gathering 84,000 Polish soldiers forming an "exiled Polish army" in France. After the fall of France, he signed an agreement on August 5, 1940, with the United Kingdom for the reconstruction, on English islands, of this exiled army, welcoming reinforcements from the Polish diaspora from different countries. In February 1942, under the impetus of Sikorski, a armored division was formed, consisting of 16,000 men and 380 combat tanks. It actively participated in the battles following the Normandy landing.

On June 22, 1941, the Germans began their attack on Russia, the famous Operation Barbarossa. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend," they say. But as early as the first month of their advance, the Germans discovered the mass graves of Katyn, which explained to General Sikorski why so few Polish officers had joined the Allied forces.

On July 4, 1943, General W?adys?aw Sikorski, his daughter and other members of the Polish government were killed in what seems to be an airplane accident, although the possibility of an assassination cannot be ruled out. The aircraft, a Consolidated B-24 Liberator, was taking off from Gibraltar, bringing Sikorski back from an inspection of the Polish armies in the Near East. The pilot said he lost control of the plane. The circumstances of his death are far from clear, the British investigation archives remaining secret until 2050.

The reader will probably be surprised to see that many authentic or questionable informations, concerning the airplane accident, immediately flowed onto the Wikipedia platform. For example:

http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accident_de_l%27avion_pr%C3%A9sidentiel_polonais_%C3%A0_Smolensk

A simple look at the page shows that versions in 52 languages were immediately put in place. Most of the elements produced are limited to a brief account, and the publication of the list of victims, but in the English version there are technical elements on the circumstances of the accident, and on the beginning of the investigation, with references. Thus the net positions itself, de facto, as a parallel news agency.

The Polish president and the government delegation were traveling on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of the Katyn massacre. You can read in this link the upheavals that followed the discovery of the mass graves. The Germans discovered them first and tried to use this discovery to justify their actions on the Eastern front. At the Nuremberg trial, the Russians tried to make the Germans responsible for the massacres, without success, due to lack of documents to support their thesis.

In 1990, Mikhail Gorbachev officially recognized the responsibility of the Russian NKVD in this elimination of 15,000 officers, intellectuals, students and apologized to the Polish people.

In 1992, Boris Yeltsin, President of Russia, handed over to Lech Walesa, President of the Republic of Poland, documents proving this responsibility. Considering that these crimes had been committed in violation of the Soviet Constitution, he had the CPSU (Communist Party of the Soviet Union) charged as a criminal organization before the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation.

The Poles, on their part, fought to have this massacre recognized as genocide and crime against humanity (imprescriptible). Pressed by the Poles to provide additional archives (116 documents out of 183), the Russian military prosecutor Alexander Savenkov closed a decade of investigation with a non-charge, qualifying the massacre as a "military crime" the assassination of 14,540 people — neither genocide nor crime against humanity — which gave him the benefit of the statute of limitations (50 years) and therefore there was no longer any need to discuss it on a judicial level.

On April 7, 2010, three days before the accident, the Polish Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, and the Russian Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin, participated together in the sixtieth anniversary of the massacre, at Katyn. This was the first time a Russian Prime Minister had visited Katyn. If Vladimir Putin did not ask for forgiveness from the Polish people, he made the following statement: "A crime cannot be justified in any way. We are obliged to preserve the memory of the past. We do not have the power to change the past, but we can restore the truth and historical justice."

If Stalin could read these lines, he would shrug his shoulders. Indeed, of the 70,000 officers in the Red Army, he had 11,000 executed, sending another 25,000 to the gulag. During the purges from 1935 to 1938, 750,000 Russians were executed and 200,000 died in the gulags. Stalin executed 154 generals out of 189, 90% of his admirals and marshals, 50 generals out of 57, 13 army commanders out of 15. These dark cuts left the Red Army without command when Hitler launched his attack on Russia in 1941.

In the film "The Downfall," when Hitler has a fantastic outburst, he shouts, "I would have been better off doing what Stalin did: executing my officers and generals." The same remark applies to the elimination of Polish elites. They were eliminated in a concentrated and not discreet manner, scattered. Stalin eliminated the elites of all the countries he absorbed to form his empire, any opponent being labeled as counter-revolutionary. There were summary executions, mass graves. But there were also executions by cold, hunger, exhaustion, of all the nuisances, the deviationists, the counter-revolutionaries, Russians or non-Russians, who claimed to oppose the construction of the Empire, which numbered in millions, and whose graves are scattered across the Siberian expanse.

What is fantastic is that Western communist parties denied this for so long. But we ourselves, are we not silent about the nine million deaths annually by ... hunger?

We could elaborate for a long time on these crimes, these genocides, these eliminations of this or that. But in this recent matter, one thing strikes me: the absence of the major Western heads of state at the funeral of the Polish president. None from the American, British, French, German, Italian side. Only delegates from smaller states. The reason given: the impossibility of traveling by air, due to the risks attributed to the presence of dust, at high altitude, emitted by the Icelandic volcano. I know that the French Minister of the Environment, Borloo, made a trip from Paris to Brussels by jet. Could it be that nowadays, no head of state can move except by plane?

Technically, it would have been easy for the heads of European states to implement other technical solutions than high-altitude flights. Train or car trips. A presence that would have been, with a few exceptions, only symbolic, given that most of the passengers' remains were probably not quickly identifiable. It doesn't matter. Imagine the face the French, the British, the Germans, the Italians, the Spaniards would have made if, having suffered a similar ordeal, they had found themselves alone at the funeral of their head of state?

One thing seems obvious. This general absence could only have been the result of a discreet agreement. If a majority of heads of state or their representatives had traveled, none would have taken the risk of ... standing out by their absence.

All this may make us realize what Europe is. A political, cultural, historical community? Not really.

An assembly of oligarchies representing private interests, nothing more.

In the end, the New World Order is

Oligarchies of all countries, unite!

Pedophilia

Recently, the press has reported on how the Catholic Church has repeatedly covered up cases of pedophilia involving members of the clergy, including high-ranking dignitaries who have been guilty of it on multiple occasions, over long periods.

Today: resignation of a Belgian bishop for pedophilia

pope

Benedict XVI and a Pope XV1 would have covered up verified cases of pedophilia in his German diocese

" But whoever scandalizes one of these little ones who believe in me, it would be better for him that a millstone were hung around his neck and he were drowned in the sea. "*

Gospel according to Matthew 18.6

The affair is not new. The popes have not always been saints and a legend says that a woman, " the Pope Joan" , pretended to be a man and wore the papal tiara, until she revealed her identity by ... giving birth.

Whether the legend is true or not, the sexual identity of the popes is indeed verified before each enthronement, which is announced to the crowd with the standard formula:

Duos habet et bene pendantes

Translation: Duos ( two ) habet ( he has ) et bene ( and well ) pendantes ( hanging )

Usually, the Vatican official who makes the announcement manages to make it practically inaudible.

Recently, the philosopher Michel Onfray announced the imminent publication of his book "The Fabrication of Freud". Here is his interview:

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xcwznm_michel-onfray-vs-freud-1-3-l-affabu_webcam

I will not fail to buy, read and comment on this work when it comes out, which will allow me to testify about what I have seen in the environment of the psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan, not as a client but as a geometer. I assure you that it is worth the price of bottles of Klein and Borromean knots.

Michel Onfray testifies about repulsive memories he has kept from his education in a religious boarding school. And to conclude (I approve when he says that), it is completely crazy to impose an absolute ban on any sexual life on priests, which opens the door to all kinds of deviances. Deviances or occasional practices (which the priest Pierre himself has testified about in his memoirs, as they say).

All this reminded me of my childhood and the religious instruction given by the priest Manet, in the parish of Saint Francis de Sales, in the 17th district of Paris. We were periodically gathered in a prayer room. And I remember that on many occasions an old lady, probably his mother, brought a man who seemed to be in his forties and who was said to be a pianist named Gilles, who had had to interrupt his career due to pedophilia.

It didn't take much of a psychologist to notice. He wore white socks, neckties, black velvet clothes with lace trim. He had a rosy complexion, was made up and had very bright red lips.

The priests who walked around the place affected to ignore this presence, they acted as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

My readers find that my production rate in "News" and various analyses is decreasing. They are right. One cannot be in two places at once. The comic strip "L'Ambre et le Verre", the story of electricity, 65 pages, in color, is finally on its way to the printer.

cover copies sold

I have created a pdf file containing sample pages from this album.

I remind you that one thousand copies will be sent free of charge to CDI and librarians who request them at the following address:

JIE

Readers can already reserve one or more copies by sending a check of 8.5 euros (shipping included) to the order of the association:

Science and Culture for All

and addressed to:

J.P.Petit, BP 55, 84122 Pertuis Cedex

I continue by creating the next album: "Fishbird", dedicated to fluid mechanics (I can already see readers rushing to Google to try to find out what a "Fishbird" is). I have received so far 116 checks of 8.5 euros, or their equivalent in customer account (which I do not cash), representing a pre-order for this other album. I note that 200 are enough to pay for the print run. Since the 100 orders have been reached, I finalize Fishbird. I think the 200 pre-orders will be there when the book is ready to be printed. The sales will serve to finance the print run of the next book, etc.

I would like to point out that my readers can, if they deem it appropriate, create a sort of "reader account" with me, quantified in multiples of 8.5 euros, which represents the price of a colored comic book, including shipping, double, 17 euros, corresponding to the order of a black and white illustrated book, including shipping. 85 euros equals ten copies of a printed comic book (published or to be published) or five illustrated text books, published or to be published, or a mix of both.

There are many projects (twenty-four books). Some require only formatting with the InDesign software, others are written and need to be illustrated (All of this takes a lot of time. The simple coloring of an album by computer represents a month of work, and it is not possible to pay someone to do this work. I don't have a budget for that). Others are "in my head", ready to be written and illustrated. This work pace implies an impressive number of hours spent in front of a screen, which has led to an inflammation of my right eye, which I have protected with a bandage, to be able to ... continue with the left.

There are two types of retirees. In some, the retirement time corresponds to a decrease in activity. Others (I am not the only one), find that the days are too short. This is the case when one has something to leave behind, and I have just turned 73. About this retirement - decrease in activity, I think of this famous English book "Goodbye, Mr. Chips", where the main character starts to write his memoirs. He begins the book by saying that from a certain age "the days pass like lazy cattle", the days follow each other, resembling the procession of a tired herd. Perhaps I will one day live this kind of thing, but for now, it is not the case.

In gliding, after two years of break, it seems that I haven't lost much. I have only made two flights, because the weather continues to play tricks on us, which disappoints the members of the Vinon club, for whom flights represent financial income they need. The club house is very successful, but required a heavy loan, and the bankers are completely indifferent to the weather.

There are more and more wealthy people and new rich coming from Eastern countries, who come with their own gliders, which is not without causing safety problems. Indeed, some buy very high-performance, but very sophisticated machines, while their level does not allow them to pilot them. Two Russians died in Vinon last year, due to a simple pilot error. Gliders must spiral in the updrafts. When these spirals must be tight, there is a risk of "engaged turn". All of this is described and explained in pages 34 and 35 of my album, freely downloadable on the website of Savoir sans Frontières:

cover_mecavol

http://www.savoir-sans-frontieres.com/JPP/telechargeables/Francais/mecavol/mecavol_francais.htm

mecavol 34

In a very sophisticated glider, with only 150 hours of flight, the two Russians went into an engaged turn, then into a very rapid spin, in a machine requiring an extremely quick reaction (counter with full foot, stick forward, in the second following the spin start). The machine broke before reaching the ground. The two Russians were crushed by the "g" forces and could not even use their parachutes (all gliders in the world are equipped with individual parachutes, to react to the greatest danger related to this sport: the risk of collision in flight)

It is difficult (and even legally impossible) for a center chief to tell foreign visitors, flying on their own machine: "I think your level does not correspond to the machine you are about to fly. It might be preferable that you do some dual command with one of our experienced instructors."

A few months ago, I was heard by the gendarmerie of Pertuis regarding a paragliding accident that occurred more than a year ago, which cost the life of a young man of thirty. His mother, very courageously, filed a lawsuit. I know what she is going through. I have experienced something similar twenty years ago. She is not doing this for money, but thinking of future victims of this negligence, so that the massacre stops. But it will not be an easy thing: in the ultralight world, the parents or relatives of the victims are very helpless when it comes to launching such a lawsuit. A regular lawyer or lawyer does not know how to handle and defend such a case. However, it is well known that the paragliding world benefits from the services of a paragliding lawyer who energetically defends his favorite sport, and, having more technical arguments, regularly defeats the quickly disoriented plaintiffs.

I have decided to get involved in this matter by pointing out the major fault committed by the instructor: sending this boy for his third flight, under an unadapted, aged wing, in August, at 12:30. I had my friend Michel Charpentier, meteorology expert and experienced paraglider, meteorologist official of our gliding federation, testify. His written testimony reinforces my opinion: you don't send a beginner for his third flight at 12:30 in August, when turbulence is triggered (which the French meteorological report confirmed, and at such an hour, it is hard to see how it could be otherwise). The young pilot lived the drama described in the pages of my album. He lost control, his wing went forward and served as a shroud for him.

mecavol 39

The reason why paraglider wings suddenly go forward is explained in my comic book. It is a specific feature of this type of machine, which makes them inherently dangerous, a danger often unknown and poorly understood by the specialists themselves, and carefully hidden by those who teach this sport or profit from it. How many times have I heard:

- I had hundreds of flights on my record. And suddenly the wing went forward very quickly. I didn't understand and I saw it just under me. It's a miracle I didn't fall into it!

I even knew a survivor who passed ... through the lines!

Those who doubt this ability of a paraglider wing to go forward have only to look at these machines at takeoff. The pilots take off their wing from the ground by pulling on their lines and they end up perpendicular to the wind (therefore attacked by the airflows at a very high angle of attack). What does this wing do then? It goes forward, rises and ends up above the pilot, where it stops its movement. What miracle makes this wing go forward so quickly: the fact that a wing, at a very high angle of attack, undergoes an aerodynamic force which, projected on its profile, is directed forward, and not, as in normal flight, backward. Anyone can understand a phenomenon that they can see with their own eyes.

Why does the wing, once raised above the pilot, stop its movement? Because it is then attacked by the airflows at a lower angle of attack. Then the aerodynamic force shifts to the back of the profile and stops this ascent movement.

The season is starting. I hope this reminder will remain in the memory of some and may save some lives. Remember that paraglider stall is extremely dangerous, while it can be easily recovered on any other flying machine by letting go.

End of this digression. ---

Regarding the storage of nuclear waste

As always, when I get back to my site, I have a million things to say, to help others.

A simple digression, by the way, on a fact mentioned by readers. A recent decision, a "exemption," was issued by the government, allowing the industrial world to introduce "low-level radioactive waste" into consumer goods and construction materials. A decision that one can immediately qualify as irresponsible and criminal. But who is governing this country these days?

There have always been nonsense, whether it be governments on the right or the left. Simply, now, thanks to this popular buzz, the Internet, we are quickly informed. If one had to rely on the existing press, one could always wait. The advantage of the net is that the writings remain in place. The archives are available indefinitely. Whereas a TV show is forgotten, an article in a magazine ends up in a trash can, and the matter is settled.

I must constantly make choices. The other subject of the day concerns the storage of radioactive waste. It has been the subject of a report, presented by France 24 and that was brought to my attention by an anti-nuclear activist, Michel Gueritte (also sued in court by two mayors who want the CEA to store the waste from the operation of the nuclear reactors on their communal territory (2/3 of the volume, the rest coming from the dismantling of reactors).

  • Nuclear energy, a future energy, no greenhouse gases, no fuel shortages, but waste, so it will have to be managed for at least 300 years....

soulaines2

The report emphasizes the benefit for rural areas facing desertification of the installation of large storage sites, accompanied by a tax paid by the state. Some mayors even mention tourism activity, related to public curiosity. An Spanish municipality unanimously demands the installation of such a storage system "generating non-specialized jobs".

soulaines3

The village of Villar de Canas wants to become the center for storage of radioactive waste from Spanish reactors

Then, they mention the problems the Germans had when storing their waste 700 meters deep, in the large rooms of an old salt mine, near the village of Asse, west of Berlin:

soulaine6

Confident that this maximum depth ensured good safety, the Germans began storing their waste in the sixties without taking many precautions regarding their packaging.

soulaines8

**In the German mine of Asse, the barrels are stored haphazardly. **

Do not forget the time factor, even if the sites installed in rural areas correspond to "short" period waste. Everything is relative. In this case, short is ... three centuries! Waste that remains dangerous and toxic for three centuries is "short-lived waste". Now look at the image above. What is the lifespan of the containers holding the waste? Who would believe that painted steel drums constitute a containment capable of lasting three centuries? Concrete itself has a limited lifespan. In half a century it begins to deteriorate. To convince yourself, just look at the state of the bunkers built by the Germans during the Second World War. Then there is the confinement related to the nature of the storage site itself. But, at 700 meters deep, the porous structure of the old salt mine evolves, deforms and cracks.

soulaines10

soulaine10

Cracking of the salt vein due to ground reworking, in the Asse mine

These reworkings and cracks were completely predictable and inevitable. No abandoned mine, even flooded, like the mine of Gardanne, near Marseille, remains in the same state. Cracks and collapses occur, which propagate all the way to the surface. When a mine is abandoned, a budget is set aside to compensate the neighbors whose houses are affected by the short, medium or long-term effects of these underground movements, which can occur at any depth (thus the depth of the radioactive waste does not offer any additional safety guarantee). At Gardanne, apart from the lignite vein, the terrain is limestone, which is dissolved by water, as is well known. This is how karst networks form: the caves explored by speleologists, underground rivers. This erosion has even a specific aspect: it progresses from bottom to top. The dissolved limestone is carried by underground phreatic circulation, creating the phenomenon called "Fontis wells". When this erosion reaches the surface, the ceiling collapses and an aven forms, opening to the sky. In nature, for example, there are large structures, like the aven d'Orgnac, in the south of France. But human mining can cause damage on the surface. The catacombs of Paris are a vast limestone quarry, located thirty meters below the surface, mainly south of the Seine, extending far beyond the capital. A network I often walked through when I was a student. The gallery extensions reach five hundred kilometers. Fontis wells, forming at the beginning of the century, have opened to the surface, swallowing entire houses in Montrouge, to the point that a service for the inspection of Paris quarries had to be created, which undertook numerous underground consolidation works in the form of support pillars. A task impossible to perform when a mine is flooded, as is the case at Gardanne.

May heaven help me if I am wrong and there have never been a hundred secret underground nuclear tests in this mine, whose epicenters form a regular network, all at one thousand meters depth and all of magnitude 3. If this is the case, the escape of the waste present in a hundred cavities, located to the south of the city, in an area where there is no lignite vein (according to the location, at one thousand meters depth, from seismic measurements carried out by a CNRS lab) would have catastrophic and totally unmanageable consequences.

Having found myself alone at the court of appeal in Nîmes, following the defamation trial that Antoine Giudicelli, former deputy director of military applications at the CEA, had brought against me, I decided to leave the people of Gardanne to their fate.

Simple reminder: during a dinner, Antoine Giudicelli suddenly told me, ignoring my scientific status, that France had conducted underground nuclear tests on its own territory (which I think is still the case, the techniques of stealth being perfectly refined today). After my statements, he sued me for defamation, in criminal court, but was dismissed at first instance. In criminal court, the parties can speak directly, and you know I don't hold back. During the hearing, my scientific knowledge outclassed the stammering statements of the former CEA official.

For the record, I will cite the astonishing statement of the prosecutor of the Avignon criminal court, who was required to bring charges against me, on behalf of the public prosecution:

  • Before making this request, I would like to say that I have not forgotten the Chernobyl cloud, which would have abruptly stopped at our borders. Personally, my sympathy goes more to the intellectual who denounces than to the military who hides (...). *

Judiciously, my opponent appealed to the Tribunal de Grande Instance, where only lawyers can speak. The court also used a procedural trick to dismiss the two testimonies that had previously failed to support the defamation claim. My lawyer at the time wrote to me after this case:

  • Everything points to the court having acted in order to obtain your conviction. *

Conclusion: 5000 euros in damages.

Another conclusion: a hasty decision to close the mine, accompanied by the irreversible decision to let it flood, following the mention of this case in my book "OVNIS et armes secrètes américaines" (sold out, but I still have half a dozen copies that I can sell for 20 euros including postage). The closure of this mine was carried out "due to sabotage by a masked commando", whose members were never identified, nor even ... searched for (which press, even local, has kept the memory of these incidents?). The mine safety commission was no longer allowed to descend into the shaft, and the access was immediately sealed. Returning to this story, there are two facts to mention: the temporary closure of a nursery school in Gardanne, the Esla Triolet school, following the manifestation of unusual radioactivity (in limestone terrain!) and the testimony of a retired mine safety officer, who told me:

  • For years, I was asked to perform radioactivity measurements at the openings of the mine's ventilation systems, with the strictest discretion. I tell you this face to face, but if you call me as a witness, I will deny these facts. *

End of this return to the Gardanne case, which the journalist Jean-Yves Gasgha had sent me to cover, who courageously abstained from attending the two trials or mentioning this case in his press coverage. Journalist, but not reckless.

Back to the German site of Asse, nuclear waste storage. It is cracking and water infiltration is occurring. There are rooms in Asse containing 7400 drums, where no one can enter, where highly contaminated water lies, which will require "intervention". Which one? The circulation of liquid masses in the depths of the earth obeys complex, horizontal and vertical mechanisms, poorly known. In the Asse mine, there will be dissolution of salt in the runoff waters, therefore an increase in density. Will these salty waters bring up non-salty waters, but polluted by radioactive waste? What will become of this infiltrating water in the next three centuries? One should even say in the next thousands of years. Could it pollute groundwater irreversibly?

The storage of nuclear waste, even if it is a source of short-term profits for municipalities, is a real apprentice sorcerer's game, and is an act of criminal irresponsibility.

In all cases, it is hard to imagine that the solutions found could match the containment of radioactive products for a period of three centuries (in fact much longer). There are two types of partners in this story: the site managers, who want to get rid of cumbersome and dangerous products, and on the other hand, small local officials from areas facing desertification, who, in exchange for subsidies and "low-qualification" jobs, only have the words "regional development" and "opportunity to seize" on their lips, and are ready to welcome these projects, without caring about the fact that "they will have to live with it for dozens of generations". They will rely on the conclusions of "experts" and in the end, the decisions will be voted democratically by the simple municipal council....

Three centuries is huge, and this number is actually far below reality. For certain substances, we should count in tens of thousands of years. *When huge problems arise, history may have completely forgotten the names of the people who signed these contracts, the experts who validated these solutions, and the members of the municipal council who voted in favor of this decision to accept these poisons. Problems will inevitably arise, affecting people's health, water supply, due to the spread of nuclear poisons. *

soulaine12

The CEA has decided to improve its brand image and now installs ... wind turbines on its sites, even though these sites are not particularly suitable for wind exploitation.

But then, what should be done?

The deuterium-tritium fusion, in a tokamak-type reactor, like ITER, is certainly not the solution. It is a "social plan", a "cathedral for engineers", and an excellent way for happy privileged people (who are also the experts who validated the project) to have a whole career in a dream region, near everything: the sea, skiing, and one day Paris, no doubt thanks to a direct TGV line. There, it was our president Jacques Chirac, an eminent specialist in nuclear physics, who exerted all his weight to have "France seize this opportunity".

In 2008, I gave a lecture on plasma physics at the Ecole Polytechnique in Palaiseau, where I discussed "the case of ITER".

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xbllp2_z-machine-conference-de-jeanpierre_tech

In a few words, ITER carries two very serious unresolved (and even ... unaddressed) problems. The Nobel Prize winner De Gennes, who has passed away, strongly doubted the possibility that the superconducting confinement magnet, in the first line relative to the fusion plasma, could withstand an intense neutron bombardment, from the deuterium-tritium mixture.

Resist for a minute, the magnet will certainly be able to. But for longer? Very unlikely. But this is the question not to ask, the question that causes trouble.

Second criticism: a fusion plasma is collisional (meaning that the ions that make it up, the heavy hydrogen ions, collide at an intense rate). These collisions tend to give the velocity distribution a "bell-shaped" form, corresponding to a "Maxwell-Boltzmann statistics". Thus, around a mean thermal velocity of a thousand kilometers per second, which corresponds to the agitation of a heavy hydrogen plasma heated to a hundred million degrees, we will find slower nuclei and ... faster nuclei that, crossing the magnetic confinement field, will detach the heavy nuclei from the "first wall", the closest wall. All ITER specialists know this. No one would dare deny it, but if this crucial point is ignored, preferring to talk about "a sun in the laboratory", and other formulas intended to seduce and anesthetize the taxpayer.

The consequence of this detachment of heavy atoms from the wall is an inevitable pollution of the plasma. A decontamination system has been considered, called a "divertor", which can be seen at the base of the toroidal chamber. It is "the ash drawer of this steam engine of the third millennium". As the confinement is magnetic, this divertor technique consists of locally weakening this barrier to create a leak of the fusion plasma, at a hundred million degrees, or allow the entry of fresh gas.

iter divertor

**The left arrow shows a person in a corridor, looking at the machine's scale.
The two red arrows on the right show the two gutters located at the bottom of the toroidal chamber, constituting the "divertor" intended to "filter" the fusion plasma to remove the heavy ions from the internal wall, the "first wall". **

No one knows within the ITER team what the "first wall" will be made of, the wall that will be directly in contact with the fusion plasma. On the following diagram, there is a formula where the wall is made of Beryllium, a metal offering little resistance to heat. The resistance of the tungsten, the lower part, is better (3000°), but its ions then carry many electrical charges (which corresponds to the atomic number Z on the periodic table). However, radiative cooling increases as the square of this number of charges. If we do not continuously decontaminate this "boiler", it will suffocate. And what will be done with the deuterium-tritium mixture polluted, where tritium constitutes a poison all the more dangerous as this heavy hydrogen can integrate into any element, including biological, food, ... human. Not polluting, the D-T fusion? What a big joke!

divertor

Principle diagram of the divertor, the "heavy ion trap", at the base of the toroidal chamber

I am aware of this movement "getting out of nuclear", populated by people who, themselves, are aware of the long-term consequences of the waste problem. The deuterium-tritium fusion, as it is envisioned, does not provide a viable solution, neither in the short nor in the long term. After having been the field of all failures, it has become an unfathomable financial abyss.

Once again, if you are looking for critical analyses of this expensive and doomed project, you will find them on the Internet, from the mouths of these "terrible impostors" (Arte 2010), and not from the pens of scientific journalists working in popular science magazines, intended to ... enlighten, to "inform" the general public.

I proposed to the editor of the magazine "getting out of nuclear" to compose an article of the type "no to this nuclear". The possibilities offered by non-neutron fusion should receive very lively and immediate interest, just because of the relatively modest cost of these researches (the cost of a Z-machine represents the two hundredth of the cost of ITER). But such projects greatly annoy the lobby linked to these pharaonic projects. The press remains silent, following the "opinions of experts". At 73 years old, sick, I cannot continue to charge these windmills, like Don Quixote. There is everything necessary on my site to inform yourself.

I vainly tried to explain in 2008 the ins and outs of this field to Edouard de Pirey, who was at the time the young scientific advisor of Valérie Pécresse (who took the Pirée for a man). This young normalien, mathematician (differential geometry), listened to me for an hour in the minister's office, and that was all. Yet I had come with a letter written by the director of the fusion department, at the prestigious Kurtchatov high temperature laboratory in Moscow: Valentin Smirnov. A letter ... without a recipient. I told de Pirey:

  • If your boss accepts being the recipient of this letter, Smirnov can send it to her immediately.

No response.

Michel Gueritte asked me in an email if I could explain the main points in accessible terms. I replied to him:

**my book

The first atomists were chemists. "Nuclear physics" is "nuclear chemistry".

There are spontaneous, exo-energetic dissociations in chemistry.

A gives B + C + energy. There are also auto-catalytic, spontaneous exo-energetic dissociations (due to the instability of the products). Nitrogen iodide corresponds to this.

Fission is an auto-catalytic, exo-energetic dissociation.

"Fusion" is a reaction of the type A + B gives C + D + energy. In the case of heavy hydrogen fusion, it is Deuterium + Tritium gives helium plus a neutron + energy. It is the neutron that creates induced radioactivity in everything it touches. If the proton is "a hydrogen nucleus", the unstable neutron does not constitute a species.

It is normal to expect, in nuclear physics, all the aspects inherent to chemistry.

The first chemistry invented by man was ... fire, the combustion of a ... fuel and an oxidant (air). This gives energy (heat), but also suffocating substances, toxic gases, and smoke. After making fires outdoors, we had to use chimneys to evacuate the combustion waste.

Imagine you arrived in the Middle Ages and said:

  • One day, people will know how to make fires without chimneys!

  • What will be done with the smoke?

  • There will be no smoke!

  • But combustion produces suffocating substances. You won't be able to make a fire in a closed room.

  • If...

  • But what would then be this magical fire, without waste, and what chemical reaction would it produce?

  • Carbon dioxide and water vapor. But these two gases, at a moderate level, are both breathable.

  • But what would be burned to obtain these molecules?

  • A gas, a hydrocarbon. Butane, for example.

Yes, this is achieved with catalytic combustion, and for years I heated myself with a "catalytic stove" equipped with a butane bottle and a weakly glowing plate on which the combustion took place. Being quite chilly, at night, I even operated the device with windows closed. And putting my nose above this stove, I simply didn't smell anything.

A hydrocarbon is a molecule of the type CnHp. A complete combustion corresponds to the scheme:

CnHp + (2n + p)(1/2 O2) --> n CO2 + p H2O. Back to nuclear. We have known for years that there are non-neutron producing reactions, which do not emit neutrons. The most attractive is the reaction Boron 11 plus hydrogen 1 (ordinary hydrogen). Eleven plus one equals twelve. Helium has four nucleons (two protons and two neutrons). Three times four equals twelve. Hence the reaction:

Boron 11 plus Hydrogen 1 gives three helium, plus energy, but no neutrons.

This reaction is "non-neutron producing". Helium can be released into the atmosphere, ... breathed. It is a "waste" that can be used to ... inflate balloons.

Why has this possibility never been mentioned? Because the "ignition" temperature is one billion degrees, whereas that of deuterium-tritium fusion is 100 million degrees.

Until 2006, no one would have imagined that one day such a temperature could be reached.

A clarification in passing: the reaction Boron 11 + Hydrogen 1 is not completely neutron producing, because there are secondary reactions that produce them, but very few. It is easy to protect oneself from them.

This fusion has nothing to do with deuterium-tritium fusion, the basis of the ITER machine, derived from the tokamak invented by the Russian Artsimovitch. ITER is "the steam engine of the third millennium", equivalent to Cugnot's cart in the field of transportation. In this kind of fusion reactor, this temperature is maintained constantly and the plasma is "confined" in a toroidal chamber with a magnetic field. The ITER plasma is a boiler that produces energy (and waste). This energy is recovered and finally transmitted to steam driving a gas turbine.

Let us play the role of a gloomy prophet: When the fusion mixture, polluted by tungsten or beryllium atoms, has been sufficiently polluted to prevent the machine from functioning, it will be released into the atmosphere through a chimney. The young polytechnicians who designed ITER in their offices simply said "hydrogen is light, it goes up". They simply ignore the phenomenon of waves, extremely common in the region. This large-scale turbulence brings down the air masses from the ground. All the gliders know this. If the releases are carried out when these invisible rolls are in place, it is the tritium, the radioactive component of heavy hydrogen, which makes up half the mass of the waste, that will be brought down to the ground. If this tritium reaches the potable water of the Sainte Croix dam, located nearby and downstream, it will dissolve in the water and mix with the entire food chain, and finally into the human body.

Detail: no meteorological service was planned in the numerous team of ITER. I know this from the mouth of a responsible person for the infrastructure installation, a monitor in Vinon.

Solution: if we do not consider moving ITER, located in a densely populated province, and not ... in a desert, we will have to move the Sainte Croix lake, or find another way to supply the Marseille agglomeration with potable water.

Steam engines (locomotives) extract their energy from the combustion of coal, wood, or a hydrocarbon. This energy is transferred to steam at 200°C, under 6 bars, which then moves a piston.

The steam engine therefore has two "circuits" that are independent.

  • an "open circuit" where coal, burning in a boiler, is transformed into a mixture of gases and smoke, released into the atmosphere.

  • and a closed circuit, where water vapor heated to 200 degrees, under an average pressure of 6 bars, circulates.

This second circuit receives its energy from the first through a heat exchanger, made up of a multitude of tubes. This vapor from the closed second circuit moves a piston, which turns a wheel.

It then moved to internal combustion engines, where there is only one fluid: the fuel-air mixture (air) where the chemical reaction releases the energy and where this fluid moves a piston. It fulfills two functions: it is both the place where the energy is released and the fluid that allows the transformation of thermal energy into mechanical energy.

In a diesel engine, a high compression ratio (ratio 15/1 to 25/1) raises the temperature of the diesel-air mixture to 500-900°C. The increase in the density of the mixture makes it possible for the diesel, injected in fine droplets by a high-pressure injection pump (2000 bars), to burn in a time of the order of a hundredth of a second, small compared to the period associated with the piston movement (a tenth of a second). This reaction speed makes it so that when the piston begins its expansion movement, the combustion is considered to have occurred.

A remark in passing: diesel, a hydrocarbon, is subject to complete combustion, releasing only carbon dioxide and water vapor, according to the reaction:

2 C16H34 --> 32 CO2 + 34 H2O. All pollution results from incomplete combustion of this diesel, the different polymers, made of carbon and hydrogen, being insufficiently broken down into more easily combustible elements. I take this opportunity to add a quick remark regarding the action of adding water in "Pentone systems". No mystery. The micro-droplets of water, appearing as a mist (from the "bulber"). Aspirated between two metal surfaces, they become electrified.

One can indeed qualify this electrified mist as "plasma" (cold). Water vapor is easily electrified, you see, and a result, undeniable, of this ability to become electrified is called ... lightning. Motorists and people from thermal power plants have known this mechanism for a long time. In the past, the post-combustion of military reactors included "water injection".

The eclectic field created by these electrified water droplets contributes to breaking the long molecular chains that make up the fuel. This is more than enough to improve the combustion efficiency (who has not driven a car in fog, suddenly noticing the unusual restlessness of their vehicle, whose carburetor, instead of sucking in dry air, is sucking in air transformed into a mixture of very fine water droplets).

Back to nuclear.

The boron-hydrogen fusion follows the same logic and would lead to a "fusion time".

First phase:

compression of the mixture, ignition of the fusion mechanism Second phase:

expansion of the resulting plasma, in a magnetic field.

Compression and direct conversion of the thermal energy released by the fusion involve a magnetic field. It is "MHD". The trick to understand is that a highly ionized plasma is tightly linked to a magnetic field, like hair is linked to the teeth of a comb. The magnetic field "plays the role of a piston", both during compression and during expansion.

Ignition can be achieved with an MHD compressor. The energy is delivered by an electrical energy storage system (capacitors). It is sent in the form of a current reaching 18 to 28 million amperes in a cage-shaped compressor (8 cm in diameter, 5 cm in height), whose bars are wires of the diameter of a hair. In each of them, a current of 100,000 amperes is sent. These wires create a magnetic field that reacts on the current, giving centripetal forces, which tend to converge the rods on the axis of the system.

In 2006, on the Sandia Z machine, this wire cage (stainless steel) was transformed into a 1.5 mm diameter iron plasma cord. It was shown (by spectral line broadening method) that the temperature (initially calculated) reached a maximum of 3.7 billion degrees, that is, 3.7 times the ignition temperature of Boron Hydrogen, making the aneutronic fusion "not impossible".

In the 2004-2006 experiments conducted at the Sandia laboratory, New Mexico, the electrical intensity was 18 million amperes. It was later increased to 28 million, but the results of the now classified experiments ( "bombs first, energy later") are unknown. Theoretically, a temperature of 9 billion degrees could have been reached. This temperature theoretically increases as the square of the injected electrical intensity. The difficulty lies in the fact that this injection must be imperative brief (100 nanoseconds, or one tenth of a millionth of a second), otherwise the wires of the cage vaporize, transforming it into a plasma cylinder, which loses all axisymmetry due to the MHD instabilities that then have a field day.

Not everything is won in this field, but its advantage is its flexibility and the fact that a "Z-machine" costs a hundredth of ITER. With a Z-machine, one can infinitely modify the geometry and structure of the wire cage, the "liner". Try to modify anything in the geometry of this dinosaur called ITER.

We have passed the stage: compression and obtaining a temperature exceeding the ignition temperature. But then, fusion reactions must be able to occur with sufficient efficiency. This being said, deuterium-tritium fusion (requiring 100 million degrees) has already been achieved in the Z-machine.

Assuming that this stage "release of sufficient energy by fusion" is passed, how to perform the energy conversion?

The compression speed, of the "wire liner" implosion, is 400 km/s. The expansion speed of a plasma enriched with the energy released by the fusion would be much higher. If this expansion is carried out in a magnetic field, this field behaves like the piston of an internal combustion engine and this system converts the energy of this expansion into electricity with an efficiency of 70%. A solenoid creates this magnetic field. The expansion of the fusion plasma in this field generates an induced current.

It is MHD, a discipline that in France has been lost in the sands since the late 1960s. In the internal combustion engine, part of the released energy is exploited, the other is stored in a flywheel, essential to be able to ensure the next compression.

In the two-stroke fusion engine, a bank of capacitors would serve as a flywheel.

After expansion, the fusion products, non-toxic, are eliminated. The system must be recharged, not by injecting fuel, but by replacing a new "wire cage" with its central borohydride target. Ten to fifty times per second, which poses no technical problem at first.

All this would not work in ... six months. But it is relatively cheap and:

  • It opposes ITER, which will never produce energy - It does not produce radioactive waste !!

This third nuclear field, if it can be shaped, does not have any principle defects, in contrast to the "ITER solution". There is no lack of boron, nor ... hydrogen. All countries could be equipped.

Critique of ITER: De Gennes himself said that never would the superconducting magnet be able to withstand an intense neutron bombardment (we must clarify that this has never been tested). Moreover, the fusion plasma is quickly polluted, by the removal of heavy ions from the wall. These create an intense radiative cooling, which will suffocate the boiler. A "divertor" has been planned, visible at the base of the torus, whose role is supposed to be to eliminate these heavy ions: never tested.

In short, a costly project, tainted by many unanswered questions, a "luxury toy for engineers". The results of the Z-machine have caused a storm of criticism. Some "specialists" (from the ITER lobby) claimed that this temperature affected only "hot spots", tiny. Totally false. If that were the case, the enormous "external magnetic pressure" would immediately crush the plasma cord. But that is not what is observed. This cord "bounces back on itself", proof that it is the seat of a very high pressure. Now, pressure means temperature. Given the density, this must automatically exceed three billion degrees, globally, and not locally. Out goes the thesis of a temperature only localized in a few hot spots.

Worse still: the Americans have started to misinform, full speed ahead, claiming (at Vilnius, International MHD Congress, September 2008), that the temperature reached had not exceeded 200 million degrees. This is what I described in, evoking my participation in the International MHD Congress in Vilnius, September 2008.

Public confrontation between these people and me (Matzen and Mac Kee, responsible for the ZR project, a new version of the Z-machine), in the middle of the congress and the complete confusion of these liars (I think I am one of the best specialists in plasma physics, at an international level).

Why such misinformation? Because this fusion obtained by magnetic compression makes it possible to envision "pure fusion bombs", without this 0.3 kiloton "match" that represents the A bomb, not miniaturizable (because of the "critical mass").

These new pure fusion bombs could be:

  • Non-neutron producing - Non-polluting - Miniaturizable In a word, "green bombs" ... happily usable. The military would add that this technology is "proliferating" (no need to have a uranium enrichment system, by centrifugation).

It is the monstrosity of the nuclear weapon that makes it unusable. The most modest bombs (300 tons of TNT equivalent) are the source of such an energy release that the radioactive mushroom cloud rises automatically, creating a strong updraft that takes it to the stratosphere. Its dispersion by the winds means that everyone gets it, including ... the one who launched the bomb.

There would be no lower limit for pure fusion bombs. The difference being that an object the size of a marble could destroy ... a building.

The nation that will be the first to possess these pure fusion bombs will dominate the world, because it can ravage entire countries, without suffering "collateral damage".

But conversely, the mastery of this pure fusion would bring an abundance of energy and high-temperature MHD compressors would allow the treatment of existing waste, transforming them into ... helium. Beyond that, the increase in temperature would allow the recreation in the laboratory, not of stars, but of supernovae (a thousand billion degrees), thus creating atoms by transmutation.

The Golden Age and the Apocalypse side by side.

Americans and Russians are actively working on this project. The strong electric current is provided by a "magnetostrictive compressor", derived from Sakharov's ideas from the 1950s, where the basic energy is provided by a solid explosive.

The project has been stumbling since early 2009. The French are ... completely out of the game.

"This other nuclear" greatly annoys the people of fission reactions and the people of ITER.

Moreover, in general, they don't ... understand the principle. As much as trying to explain to a steam locomotive manufacturer the principle of an internal combustion engine.

Physicist "heavyweight category", I would take the debate against any nuclear enthusiast. At Vilnius I put the Americans in disarray. So, the French...

Mr. Gueritte, I salute your courage.

The psychological cost of a realization

I have always said, for years, that any form of thought is an organized system of beliefs. I believe that we do not reflect enough on this fundamental mechanism which is the defensive attitude of any thought, of any organized system of belief. This behavior is valid at the collective level as well as at the individual level.

I have at home the DVD of the movie "The Fall", devoted to the last days of Hitler and his loyalists, in the bunker of the Berlin Chancellery. We know that the scenes described in this film correspond to real facts, which were reported by a direct witness: the Fuhrer's own secretary, who was under thirty years old at the time, who testifies at the beginning of the film.

What emerges from the dialogues is that the Third Reich is living its last hours. Himmler confesses to a close associate of the Fuhrer, his own brother-in-law, Figelein, that he has already initiated contact with the Americans, convinced that they would be ready to negotiate with him and his SS to contain "the Asian hordes". Hitler believes that "the Steiner group" will be able to carry out a strong counterattack to free Berlin, which the Russians are already at the gates of. Learning that Steiner is unable to gather enough men to carry out this maneuver, he enters a fit of rage and decrees that "like Stalin", he should have had all his generals executed, who are only cowards and incapable.

He gives Speer, his architect and chief engineer, the order to destroy all the industrial infrastructure of the Reich, so that the enemy will find nothing but ruins. Speer replies:

  • "My Fuhrer, if you do this, you condemn the German people to death."

  • "Well, if the war is lost, it's because the German people has shown weakness, and the weak must disappear."

At no time do people like him and Goebbels imagine for a moment that they have led the German people to ruin. If the plan failed, it could only be the fault of others. The Nazi dream collapses and Goebbels' wife, who joins him in the bunker, prefers to poison her five children with her own hands, to prevent them from living in a world ... without National Socialism.

I have watched this film countless times, analyzing every sentence of the dialogues. The word "madness" has little meaning. Indeed, in the end, Hitler loses his mind, envisioning counterattacks that exist only in his imagination. But we are facing a man who has locked himself in a system of thought, which finds its coherence when we hear some key phrases:

  • "I have always forbidden myself any compassion."

Goebbels will also say:

  • "I'm sorry, but I have no compassion."

We are in the law of the strongest at 100%. During a meal attended by his secretary, Hitler talks about the way primates immediately eliminate all deficient individuals, calling it "the law of nature."

History is at the mercy of men and women, forming oligarchies. Their behavior may seem incomprehensible to us. It is because we are unable to enter their system of thought, to understand the mechanisms in which they have locked themselves.

There is a second point on which I would like to emphasize: the impossibility, in which some human beings find themselves, to question themselves, to say "there, I made a mistake, a bad choice, I showed an blindness that proved very harmful." Such a realization can be extremely painful and haunt you for the rest of your days. The psychological cost can be exorbitant. How can a father, a mother, even at the threshold of death, say to their offspring: "I'm sorry I destroyed your life." Questioned about their behavior, pedophiles see it simply as "a surge of parental love."

The monstrous is more common than a vain people thinks. Pedophilia, incest, damage or completely destroy human beings. It happens that in a family individuals discover with amazement facts dating back decades, which have had dramatic and irreversible consequences on those who were their victims. Such realizations can prove so harmful for the vision of those who were or are still their relatives or are still, that they become impossible to carry out.

I am talking about the monstrous family, which can go as far as crime, of adults or even children. We have too many examples to cite of monstrous history. But what must be kept in mind is that at some point individuals find themselves in systems of thought that guide their choices and actions, which one could qualify as pathological.

But where is the border between normality and pathology? In the word "normality" there is the noun "norm". The norm is what, at a given moment, is common to a large number of people. The mimetic tendency is then very strong. I will use an example borrowed from physics. How is residual magnetization (called hysteresis) created in a block of iron? We subject it to a magnetic field. The electrons can be compared to tiny magnets, to magnetic dipoles. In a block of iron that comes out of a crucible, the overall magnetism is zero, the "spins" of the electrons, which correspond to their magnetic moment, are oriented in a random way and their resultant is zero.

Place this piece of iron in a solenoid, creating a magnetic field. This will orient the spins of the electrons. When we bring this inductive magnetic field to zero, the piece of iron retains a residual magnetization. Why do the electrons remain in ... this position?

The electrons of the metal are sensitive to the field created by their neighbors, and thus ... contribute to it. The magnetization of iron is comparable to a mimetic phenomenon. It's as if each electron said "I orient my spin like all the others." Whereas before there was no structure of order within this population of electrons, we have created one, which persists by itself, without needing additional stimulation.

How to eliminate this residual magnetism of the iron block? For example, by heating it. This will create thermal agitation within the metal, which will eventually overcome this "magnetic order" it had acquired, in any direction, in the end.

There is therefore a first justification for individual actions, which consists of saying "I do as others, I do as everyone else." This can explain why the phenomenon of Nazism was able to seize a very large part of the German population before and during the Second World War, and why this structure ... disintegrated itself in the post-war period after the disappearance of its leaders.

On my website, I wrote "learn to think for yourself, otherwise others will do it for you". I could complete this formula by saying "strive to take a step back, give autonomy to your thinking, otherwise it will merge into the collective thought of the time".

Human beings suffer from the excesses and selfishness, the cynicism of a large number of politicians. But these people they perceive as selfish, cynical, without faith or law, would instead describe themselves as pragmatic, with a "positive attitude", acting in the interest of the majority. All politicians will tell you that it is impossible to manage a country without showing a minimum of Machiavellianism "in the interest of the State".

According to the confidences of a member of the Bush administration, we now know that hundreds of people captured in Afghanistan and sent to Guantanamo, to be tortured with method, were innocent of any crime. They had simply been denounced as "terrorists" by Afghans and Pakistanis, concerned about receiving the 3000 euro reward for each capture. Questioned, people like Bush, Rumsfeld, Colin Powell or Dick Cheney would tell you "it is better to imprison a few innocents than to let dangerous terrorists free".

Doesn't this remind you of the "kill them all. God will recognize His own", of the St. Bartholomew's Day?

In the movie "The Fall", Hitler never has any distance from his actions, his policy. If the vast plan failed, it is because one did not follow his directives and orders. It is the same for practically all heads of state.

Take the example of the Vatican, which was a channel for the escape of Nazi war criminals to South America. What does the current Pope think (and what did his predecessors think)? "It was probably a necessary evil to prevent this continent from falling into communism".

Very few individuals are able, every day, or at some point in their life, to look in the mirror and say "have I been unworthy?". Psychologists who work in prisons know that a very large number of offenders consider themselves ... innocent victims of a "system", this self-indulgence being often proportional to the gravity of their offenses.

If you could enter the mind of a politician, you would be surprised, and even shocked, to meet the way he perceives the world and evaluates himself. Some already know the details of our current President's wealth, as well as the way he has comfortably arranged his future. Many politicians are exempt from paying taxes. The French have long discovered (at the time it was with the politician Jacques Chaban Delmas) that some French citizens, instead of paying taxes, are instead refunded by the tax service a "overpayment", a mechanism linked to a "withholding at source".

I explain, for those who are unaware of this point. When a company distributes dividends to its shareholders, it is supposed to have already paid the state a tax on profits, an important amount. If this amount paid exceeds what the shareholder, who also receives wages, is supposed to pay in income tax, the tax office will refund ... the difference.

Many politicians benefit from such privileges. But go and tell Sarkozy that he is overeating. He will laugh at you. In his view, in his vision of the world, what he perceives from all sides seems minimal compared to what society should pay him, given the services he renders and the work he provides. Minimal as well compared to the gratifications enjoyed by some of his associates, industrialists, bankers or simple capitalists.

Back to our small mayor from earlier, who thinks he is fighting for the benefit of his constituents by requesting the housing of radioactive waste on the territory of his commune.

To act this way, he is simply mentally incapable of projecting into a future exceeding a few years.

Human beings resemble vehicles. Obviously, the classic image of the herd comes to mind. But what is interesting in the model of the human being-vehicle is that it can be configured in various ways. If we imagine that the vehicle is traveling at night, the distance at which its headlights illuminate is an image of its ability to project into the future, individually and collectively. The use or non-use of the rearview mirror refers to the ability or inability to learn from the past.

The small mayor who requests his radioactive waste has a lighting system that barely exceeds his bumper.

The lighting system conditions the field of vision. This can be narrow or wide.

The question for a hundred euros is "how can human beings change their route?" Let's reverse the question: what makes them follow a particular path? Answers: education, culture, their fundamental mimicry, their perception of the world, their interest, the way they exploit the "road map" that describes the world, which they have learned since their earliest age. More generally, it is more convenient to follow already-traveled paths than to venture into the unknown, to spend one's life following a well-marked route. Immediately, I wanted to reproduce the drawing that accompanies my comic book "Le Mur du Silence" (the well-named one) and which refers to the scientific approach.

there is light here

Here, I would like to cite a recent experience. For more than 35 years, I have had the weakness of being interested in the UFO phenomenon, persistently stating that it covers real facts, which should concern our scientists. However, in the epistemosphere, the impact is completely null and in this aspect I constitute the exception that confirms the rule.

About a decade ago, a young researcher, a mathematician and very learned, contacted me saying:

  • I have a doctorate in mathematics, and more precisely in geometry. I then tried to get close to a physicist doing interesting things, and my investigation led me to you.

Very well. We then tried to work together for several years. I had the impression of trying to attract a motorist out of his original highway, and many times I was tempted to tell him, "if you take off the handbrake, we would move more easily." I still hear him saying to me:

  • I can't venture without knowing where I'm going!

  • But how do you expect to know where you're going? The essence of research is to leave mapped areas to explore others, and with luck, to come back with new maps revealing other routes. In this matter, the guide is intuition. If this proves fruitful, logical arguments will only become apparent afterwards.

I remember, in Kenya, in Amboseli Park, during safaris where I drove my clients, I came across a path followed by elephants, marked so regularly and systematically for centuries that they had ended up digging the ground along their way. In terms of research, this is quite similar. Scientists travel on well-trodden paths that constitute what is called a paradigm. They go from A to B, then from B to A, and so on. A boustrophedonic behavior (from bous, the ox, and strophedein, the furrow).

Innovating consists precisely in getting out of these well-trodden paths and trying to discover others (for example, supersonic flight without shock waves or turbulence, or a model of cosmos with variable constants, including the speed of light. Etc.). In short, "everything that is not in the books." A scientist with a psychological profile of a "good student" will not necessarily be a good researcher.

My mathematician colleague impressed the old-timers of the discipline with the breadth and variety of his knowledge. In fact, he was a real glutton for well-established mathematics, which he then classified in his inner convolutions with millimetric precision. I would compare his brain to a shredder. I remember going with him one year to a flying wing course (to teach him this sport and encourage him to get off the ground). We shared the same room. While I was reading comics, he devoured page after page of the most difficult mathematical treatises, like one would savor petits fours. He turned pages quietly, with the regularity of a metronome, on which I would have struggled for weeks. In his brain, there was always a huge amount of free space to store new knowledge, and between us, we nicknamed him "DD," short for "Hard Drive."

Unfortunately, after years, it turned out that he was completely incapable of leaving the well-trodden paths. Trying to lead him into these side paths only made him more anxious each time.

I finally gave up.

But two months ago, he informed me in an email that during a stay in the capital, while walking with his mother in the middle of Paris, in the middle of the day, he witnessed an unusual spectacle for several minutes. High in the sky, several dark discs were moving, with an apparent diameter comparable to the size of a fingernail at arm's length, surrounded by smaller, very bright objects that were whirling around them. His mother also witnessed this scene, and they even stopped a passerby to make him look up.

These objects must not have been small, since, according to his account, they passed behind the contrail left by an airplane. Then, after a few minutes, they turned bright white and disappeared quickly.

I thought to myself: "When he comes back, he will tell me: I realized it was important to think about the issue of interstellar travel, by revising our conception of the universe."

Well, no...

He concluded this experience with the sentence:

  • I make no assumptions about what I saw.

I wanted to tell him:

  • If aliens took you, put you in one of their flying saucers, and made you tour the solar system in twenty minutes, you would tell me, "I make no assumptions about the experience I had."

It is useless to rebel against such a failure. How can we know how people are built, what blinders they are equipped with, how far their "lights" reach. In this case, if we return to the metaphor of the vehicle, it would be the ability to look up, with a ... sunroof. The experience shows that very few people look up. I realize this by noticing the little impact (explicit) of the ideas I have developed in my last book, which are, however, quite simple to grasp.

I summarize briefly the idea presented. The fixed idea of the Living is to expand its relational field by constantly increasing its complexity. A "fixed idea" that implies a "guidance of this living world," a teleonomy. A guidance, located outside the sensory sphere, turning its back on the effects of the "god of chance," that of orthodox scientists, in which Darwinian selection operates within mutations whose cause is to be sought outside the sensory world (...).

If this plan consists of expanding this relational field, without limits, it is clear that no bird will be able to fly to the nearest planet. Therefore, it implies the emergence of technology, which a living species on Earth, humans, will possess, along with the upright stance (which frees their hands, transforming them into homo faber). The fact of being born "prematurely," without the bones of his skull being fused (unlike his primate cousins) will allow him to have a larger brain, etc.

The emergence of technology, in the hands of humans, is exponential, explosive, and makes them the masters of their planet in a small number of thousands of years. They immediately gain power that goes to their heads. To avoid the inevitable collateral consequences, always in a finalistic perspective, therefore completely heterodox, they have been endowed with a behavioral attribute, which animals do not have, allowing them to question the consequences of their actions, what is called moral consciousness. Analogously: they have "lights that illuminate further."

Thus, the purpose of technology would be, in the end, to build interstellar vehicles, allowing visits to neighbors. All this requires energy that chemistry cannot produce. This evolutionary process suddenly accelerated in 1945, when humans began to master nuclear energy. Hence an acceleration of incursions by explorers from other planets. Seeing us continue to kill each other, and to turn our planet into a trash bin with our beautiful technology, they wonder "when will they understand that it is not for this?"

It is therefore a rather simple idea. But go explain this to Sarkozy, Bush, Putin, or Ahmadinejad?

I read that we have discovered 400 exoplanets to date. This number will inevitably reach several thousand soon. Not long ago, astrophysicists wondered if there were other stars in the universe accompanied by a retinue of planets. Today, the question would rather be: "Are there stars that do not have any?" All this indicates that the number of planets capable of hosting intelligent life in the universe would be around billions of billions. So, timidly, scientists like Jean-Pierre Luminet consider that elsewhere there could be a primitive, bacterial life.

Hubert Reeves bases his argument on the lack of imagination that nature seems to show in terms of atoms and molecules. He suggests that this lack of imagination could extend to the living world, and that on a considerable number of planets, forms of life very similar to ours could exist.

Continuing his idea, if interstellar travel were possible, the creatures emerging from the ships could simply have a head, eyes, two arms, and two legs.

Interesting...

In terms of religion, I remember what a cardinal said, questioned by journalist Jacques Pradel, who did not exclude "that Christ died on the cross to redeem the sins of other beings than humans, populating the universe."

The idea I have just briefly outlined above and that I develop in my last book, which is accessible to any reader, has not attracted anyone, especially in the scientific community. Lack of "sunroof," of "long-range lights," and of "effective rearview mirrors," no doubt. An idea also too disturbing. I said above that the psychological cost of certain realizations, in certain situations, can exceed the capacity of a human being. Here, we should reason in terms of psycho-social, political, and economic cost. A startling number of human enterprises would suddenly become trivial. Entire sections of beliefs would collapse, like polar ice at the time of the break-up.

I briefly mentioned the potential possibilities offered by these MHD compressors capable of producing billions of degrees, but one day, temperatures much higher. We then enter the possibility of transmutations, of creation, from materials as simple as dust from the road, into previously highly sought-after raw materials.

We already have robotics that are progressing by giant steps and which we currently use to increase the number of the unemployed, as the Jacquard looms did in the past, plunging the "canuts," the weavers, into misery, or to fight more effectively, through robocops, or hunter-bomber drones, free of any moral states.

Combine all this. We see a world where the notion of wealth would suddenly lose its meaning. A world without "Bling-Bling."

Who could imagine such a thing, except a few madmen who live with their heads in the stars?

New digression on the events of September 11. I will start with a small humorous drawing inspired by a phrase from journalist Daniel Lecomte:

terrible art

I urge you to look at this power point, showing photographs taken from a military helicopter at different stages of the tragedy. You will easily recognize building number 7 by the trapezoidal shape of its top platform.

[An overview presentation power point on the events of September 11, 2001](../VIDEOS/11 septembre.pps)

I will conclude this page by saying that we must try to reflect on how our thinking is structured. I dare to hope that an increasing number of people are making this effort, discovering the space of free thought that is the internet, a real fair of ideas.

Impervious to any argument, journalist Daniel Lecomte recently hosted a new program on Arte titled "The terrible impostors" (understand, those who claim to substitute for professional journalists on the Internet)

Daniel Lecomte

Daniel Lecomte, host of a program on Arte denouncing the misdeeds of the Internet

" *Our role is not to change the world, but to inform *"

When one hears such statements (it seems like a scene from Planet of the Apes), one is tempted to wonder if these people are receiving authoritarian instructions to neglect so completely any analysis of the facts. But there is another, much simpler and more natural explanation, quite far from journalistic conspiracy theories. If those who doubt the official version of the September 11 attacks were right, this would require an extremely harmful awareness within the journalistic caste. The psychological cost may still be too high for a Daniel Lecomte to consider changing his position even slightly, and it is clearly the same for the colleagues he invited to form his non-contradictory debate, in the style:

This is my opinion and I share it

Beyond this journalistic caste, the entire military-political machinery would tremble on its foundations. Again, for many individuals, the psychological cost remains perhaps still too high, although it is observed that it is in the United States itself that the greatest number of politicians, military personnel, scientists, and intellectuals, all of high rank, have made this vertiginous leap, daring to look Uncle Sam in the eye. While these positions remain, in our country, totally exceptional or even completely absent.

You will notice that if the conspiracy theorists are right, it is just another false flag operation, although of a phenomenal scale. You will also notice a surprising thing:

*There is no word or equivalent expression in the French language. *

It doesn't matter, I think that as the machine of the father Ubu is running at full speed, obviously, more and more people are beginning to think for themselves.

****March 17: Lanturlu in video: already four episodes

****March 23: why unemployment will not decrease.

An important article on the French Revolution blog. The author comments on the following graph:

unemployment inflation

In the ordinate: inflation, in the abscissa: the unemployment rate

French economists have praised, since the 1980s, a "control of inflation," described as a "stabilization of our economy." But everything has a price. What is the cause of inflation?

Inflation is synonymous with rising prices (the exact term should be then "price increases"). The phenomenon is abundantly described, in its effects and causes, in my comic book The Economicon, freely downloadable on the website of Savoir sans Frontières at

http://www.savoir-sans-frontieres.com/JPP/telechargeables/Francais/ECONOMICON.pdf

In a liberal economy, demand is the first factor that determines the price of consumer goods. This is demand inflation.

inflation1

There is also cost inflation:

inflation2

Cost inflation

A cost inflation that has a good excuse and allows the government to justify the price of gasoline at the pump, whose price depends mainly on taxes.

What the article reminds us is that the best way to block the rise in prices is to limit demand, therefore to maintain the poverty of the mass of workers, by blocking wages. An excellent way to do this is to have a large number of unemployed, so that one can say, "if you are not satisfied, there are ten others outside who are waiting to take your place." To make the population accept this endemic state of unemployment, the RMI, or "Minimum Insertion Income," was set up, whose function is to prevent a social explosion. Thus, especially in cities, a latent poverty is installed, with housing problems, a purchasing power at rock bottom.

Some organize themselves and adapt to this situation. I had a visit from a man I have known for a long time, named Alric (which is a Viking name). The man, in his early forties, has grown a long beard and now communicates with entities through telepathy. Messages, he says, too complex to be summarized in a few sentences. With some companions, they have organized a community. Living in the countryside, they still have a vehicle. By pooling these subsidies, they do not seek any kind of insertion, but are satisfied with a fundamentally parasitic life, and I remember the phrase of this eccentric, who will not be stepping over my threshold again:

  • We live very well with the RMI.

This does not mean that everyone can do the same. One must have a roof, not have to pay rent.

Why such a tightening of the inflation rate? To be able to speculate, to hoard in complete tranquility. The graph above shows that there is no good solution. Full employment goes with high wage increases, which have two effects. The purchasing power of workers increases, so their demand for consumer goods. The industrialists pass on this increase in wage costs to the prices. The spiral is inevitable and corresponds to the theory of the economist Keynes. A limited inflation rate to finance growth.

A low inflation rate prioritizes an economy based not on production, but on speculation. When prices enjoy relative stability, it is easy to buy and sell, to do import-export, to be an intermediary. We live in an era where these people know phenomenal enrichments. There is then a sub-market of luxury, which is doing extremely well. The prices of yachts, sports or luxury cars reach indecent prices.

On the other hand, production units escape to countries with lower social and wage costs (China, India).

The author of the article is perfectly right in saying that the electoral promises prioritizing employment are deceptive. A reduction in unemployment would go hand in hand with a decrease in speculative profits. Banks today only want to lend. Thus "their money works." A borrower can no longer say "I have so much to repay; but in x years, my salary will have increased by so much....".

And what about the State? Its managers are doing very well. Salaries (a 200% immediate increase for our current President of the Republic), social guarantees (for 60 months, in case of unemployment due to non-re-election, without any obligation of checking in or searching for a job, or being assigned to a residence), the retirement regime for politicians, all of this is only improving. News constantly talk about "new billionaires" or "youngest billionaires" as if they were lottery winners.

And the Deep France? It is sinking into stagnation and apathy. The recent abstention is a sign of this. The Socialists "triumph" over the UMP, but in these troops, there is no new idea, no talent. Those who govern are not the politicians, but the financiers. I saw a delayed broadcast of an Arte program with a dossier Doc in stock, dedicated to the "terrible impostors," presented by Daniel Lecomte. At the end, professional journalists are seen laughing at these amateurs who are active on the web wanting "to change the world."

deniel lecomte

**Daniel Lecomte: "We do not seek to change the world" **

Indeed, Lecomte says, the role of the journalist is not to want to change the world, but to provide information. It remains to be seen what lies behind this term. When citizens react to an unpopular measure or to a proposal containing aspects deemed unacceptable (such as certain parts of the European Constitution), politicians always respond by saying that "the information is not well passed." They imagine that to pass the project, it is necessary "to provide information." One thus finds a parallel with the daily journalistic task:

*To pass the pill. *

In contrast, the amateur journalists on the web are dangerous utopists, who want to ... change the world.

Take for example indefensible projects, like ITER. For these people, it is not a question of arguing on the terrain of science and technology, but of "communicating." The Arte broadcast was probably prepared before the complete collapse of the French vaccination plan against the "pandemic H1N1 flu." We see Lecomte explaining that to counter all these rumors, which even reach hospital staff, it is enough "to go up a floor and question a virology and vaccination specialist," who immediately confirms the strategy implemented by Madame Bachelot and the WHO.

At no moment do the journalists present, including Lecomte, ask themselves the question: "Have we done our job well?" It never even crosses their mind. Years of controversy are easily swept away with a simple gesture.

arte effroyable

This recalls the phrase of a journalist from Spiegel, Gunther Latsch, also an invited guest on Arte in the 2004 program hosted by the same Daniel Lecomte ("September 11 did not happen"), saying that regarding rumors about the attacks, "a simple phone call to the United States was enough to set things right."

Gunther_Latsch

**Gunther Latsch, "Senior Reporter" at the Spiegel newspaper **

  • A simple phone call was enough for him to conduct an investigation *

The German newspaper was presented in this program "as the reference in investigative journalism." It was enough "to make a few phone calls to show that all this did not hold up." The program ends with a "debate." Also present were:

    • Philippe Val, editor-in-chief of the very serious newspaper Charlie Hebdo
  • Rémi Kauffer, writer, journalist, professor at Sciences Po, author of a book published by Grasset "The weapon of disinformation." *

Gunther Latsch mentions "common sense" and "plausibility criteria." Philippe Val agrees with him.

  • Yes, common sense is enough....

As a conclusion, I would say that investigative journalists, our famous senior reporters, faced with an increasingly absurd global reality, are the Panglosses of the modern world. Remember the phrase of Professor Pangloss in Voltaire's novel, Candide:

  • So true is it that the particular small misfortunes make the general good. So that the more particular small misfortunes there are, the better things are in the best of all possible worlds.

First news: an announcement on the association's website:

http://www.ufo-science.com

In it, I make a brief assessment of the mix of failure and success of the UFO-science association since its creation in 2007. The reader will read. In fact, apart from external technical advisors (Jacques Juan, Maurice Viton, Jacques Legalland), the association is now reduced to four people:

Mathieu Ader, secretary

Jean-Christophe Doré, technical director and treasurer

Xavier Lafont, assistant treasurer and responsible for the future Ummo website

**and yours truly. **

Do an interesting experiment. Type ufo on Google. Here is the result:

ufo_google

We are ... before the Geipan. Normal: five years after its creation, which has done nothing but put dusty archives online, completely devoid of scientifically usable information.

The coffers are full. So, for now, no call for donations. We will proceed to a revision of the statutes. In 2008, members, with their small membership check, tried to take over UFO-science by playing the game of general assemblies, votes, quorum, etc. This situation is mentioned in the editorial found on the site. There are few people left, but active ones. To take a word from Mathieu Ader:

  • It's curious: the fewer we are, the more active and productive we are.

And it is quite correct. In the site you will find the result of a beginning of a campaign to distribute network caps, in fifteen countries. And it's only beginning.

France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Morocco, Finland, Norway, Russia, China, USA, Canada, Colombia

bon nettes en france

The distribution of network caps in France

It is known that these accessories, placed in front of digital cameras, the objective of mobile phones, or that of camcorders, allow to transform the optical image of a UFO into a spectrum. On the UFO-science site, you will find the way to obtain a cap, offered by the association:

bonnette diapo

Purchased in large quantities, these caps cost us 20 cents. It would be absurd to sell them (what some fools do). We are currently recommending them and have already distributed three thousand. If you want to know what the money you gave is used for, here is one of the answers. When the number of these caps reaches a threshold, an observer will have in hand his device and this accessory, and we will have the first spectra. This idea was probably too complicated, or too simple, for the Geipan to take it up.

The technical effort has been repositioned in the provinces, and the low-density MHD test bench is now progressing well, in the hands of a technically competent member. The results will now come quickly, opening the doors to international conferences, where I will be able to go (with the wheelchair offered by a generous donor, whom I thank in passing). Thanks to the Relaxotron, my health has improved a bit, so I will be mobile again. This being said, this activity will only highlight the failure of French MHD, which is also well known to foreign specialists. It is not salvageable, and for us, it is only "agit-prop." Explanations in the editorial, on the site. If possible, we will go to Tomsk, in Siberia, to meet the leaders in this field. I am waiting for experimental results to make contact there.

I hope that by the end of 2010, we can install a hydraulic simulation bench, in MHD, in another place in France. All these activities will lead to publications and videos that will be quite different from the messy do-it-yourself things you can find on the net, devoid of any scientific commentary, and for cause.

Jean-Christophe Doré continues to refine his very clever ufocatch detection system, thanks to which I did not throw everything away when returning from the Bremen conference, where my rather unimpressive companion failed all the recordings of my 30-minute lecture (goal of the mission), due to lack of preparation and recklessness.

ufocatch

During the next missions to conferences, the equipment will have been checked, the batteries charged. The or the accompanying person will bring back a quality report.

As my salon in Pertuis will finally be cleared, I will be able to start installing a mini video recording studio, with camcorders, HF microphones, a deployable screen and a slide projector. You can imagine that production can become intensive. And to avoid having to wait ten months for the videos to be edited (as with my lecture at the X), I will do it on the spot.

I will summon to this "platform" the managers of the Cnes scandal, and the vehement opponents from the research world. We will offer them to pay for their travel and hotel, or even to dialogue with me via Skype, or simply by phone, all recorded. As there will probably be no response, each time I point out someone, a photo of his head, at 1/1 scale, will be fixed on a chair, and a card with his name. It is to this empty chair that I will address myself. This can lead to quite comical scenes, followed by a default judgment.

Xavier Lafont is currently working on finishing the site on Ummo, which we will be able to open, I hope, soon. It would be amusing if this site, in Google searches, would bring down the Ummo-science site, which has only the name of science and is now just an empty box. At the same time, Christel Seval and I will write a book on the subject, which he will publish as editor and I will co-sign with him. We also plan to make a series of video talks, made in Pertuis.

Perhaps we will manage to hold mini-debates, with four participants. Four chairs, four microphones. Unless we can manage to set up more sophisticated things, using the technique of the video conference. This will only compensate for the void of current media, and censorship will be absent. Difficult to implement. I noticed yesterday that some links had disappeared on my "New" page, leading to disturbing files. I have reactivated them. If there was ever active censorship, I imagine my home page would have a link to "access to censored pages." Then would follow the series of links pointing to people who would host them.

I have an anecdote to tell. I became interested in the events of September 11, 2001 around 2002, I think. At first, like everyone else, I swallowed everything. Then the former student of Supaéro reacted. This Boeing 757 entering through a hole did not seem to fit with what I had learned from my school bench. Then Jimmy Walter funded the organization of a conference and the production of a video, which he had 100,000 copies made in DVD format, with subtitles in the main languages. One day this document became accessible on the net. When I saw this, I said to my readers:

- Hurry, save the files, it won't be long before they disappear!

I didn't know how to do it. But the backups were made. 48 hours after Walter's site was inaccessible, but a few days later some sites presented the video. Battle won. It was from there that Reopen 9/11 was born.

One can worry about the noises of censorship, of repressive laws arsenal. But this modern world we are in has created, in addition to indoctrination tools, an area of freedom now difficult to control: the Internet. It is even difficult to spread misinformation, because information on the Web is dynamic, changing. When I make a mistake, a reader points it out.

- No, it's not So-and-so who was director that year, it was ...

A few clicks and it's corrected.

A few years ago, when I was talking about underground nuclear tests, a Chilean academic wrote to me to inform me that the Americans had bought land in his country to conduct secret nuclear experiments. I put these "information" on my site. But twenty four hours later the hoax busters warned me that this Chilean professor ... did not exist and that it was a pure manipulation and misinformation. I left the "information" but reproduced the complete demonstration of this manipulation attempt. And this misinformation turned against its authors, who could be identified.

In a journalistic activity, journalists are required to make checks. Here, it is my readers who take care of it. Thank you to them.

I receive daily documents sent by my readers, smart links, useful and, as much as possible, I relay them. I have decided to invest a lot in this battle regarding this vaccination. It has taken me a lot of hours, but I don't regret it: we have won. The real information was on the net, not in the "big media" which only repeated the nonsense they received. They reacted, when they did, when everything was over.

It was not an ideological struggle, but a search for truth, an attempt to see clearly. It was enough for me to look at what had been the "damage" of this A-H1N1 epidemic in the southern hemisphere, where winter had ended months ago. Then I followed the numbers of the Grog, the French flu observatory. There was no reason to panic. With this light, governmental manipulations appeared as big as mountains. The scandal and collusion as well.

What remains of this experience? The French have lost a little more confidence in their politicians and their media. In whom, in what else have they placed their trust? In these "alternative media" that we are? I think many have understood that they had to hurry to think for themselves before others do it for them. Simply.

The lie has always existed. In my site I have discovered and shown my readers simple facts of history. How the Nazis created a fake incident to be able to attack Poland (the Gleiwitz incident). We discover the "false flag operations". It should be noted that there is not really an equivalent expression in the French language. By "flag" one must understand "flag" or "colors". I took up the case of the Bay of Pigs, by which the Americans tried to take over Cuba. That was quite something. My readers have also discovered (like me) that many Israeli prime ministers had been patent terrorists.

Today, when something happens, people have acquired other reflexes. They ask "who does it benefit?" then, possibly, "what does it hide?" And our official journalists are shouting to tell us that nothing is hidden, that it doesn't benefit anyone, etc...

But it seems that the worm is in the fruit

Internet users have also discovered the outrageous salaries of European Union officials, their pension deals, the unemployment insurance system of our deputies.

Does this mean that we are heading towards some sort of anarchy? In her film, "The Shock Doctrine," which can be seen and is a kind of summary of her huge book, Naomi Klein concludes by saying "the people will have to go into the streets." Unfortunately, the tools of crowd control already exist. They will exacerbate the anger of the streets, justifying brutal repression, mass internments. In the USA, the camps are already ready, you know.

There is perhaps a more effective revolt that will emerge on the net. The techniques of communication and mass information management will be refined. If I were an IT specialist, I would create a structure

http://www.manifestation.net

Inside, people could propose a demonstration. Internet users would propose a theme of demonstration, and other internet users, if they want, would sign up. The theme of the demonstration would be joined with a date. Instead of saying "Everyone into the streets!", it would be "Everyone to your keyboards"

On the day, by connecting to the part of the site referring to this demonstration, one would see a screen full of small boxes, each representing an internet user connected. By connecting, the users could chant slogans, or shout the opposite, according to their choice. The machine would mix them and, in addition to the screen, one would hear the background noise of the digital demonstration. Even more, as internet users would send their photo, accompanied by a short text where they would express their opinion, one could see, by clicking on a small box, a face and read lines (later, hear a voice, see the broadcast from a webcam). In case, a synthesizer would convert the text into speech.

If nothing is done, the machine would randomly display a demonstrator from the screen. Using a language translator, the demonstrations could be ... international. That is where my translation tool Antibabel, which has never been developed, due to lack of manpower, would be very useful.

How to gas, taser digital demonstrators? I hope someone will take up the idea. In computer terms, it shouldn't be the sea to drink. But it is this revolt, unstoppable, that would destabilize the despotic powers, the factories of lies.

You can imagine the mess, for all these people who have "invested in security", have equipped themselves with armored vehicles, bulletproof vests, grenade launchers and tasers. They will have to design "anti-pixel vests".

I have a message to say to all of you, who read me:

You are stronger and smarter than you think

A strongly uttered "NO" is more powerful than a brick or a Molotov cocktail. The means to express this revolt, this refusal to be sheep that are sheared, are being built.

I also noticed something. Have you seen the worldwide success of the movie Avatar? Do you know that in China the government had to remove it from the cinemas, because other films were no longer making money? What does this film tell us? A powerful power, entirely subservient to the powers of money, coveting the riches of a "less developed" people, launches an expeditionary force on this planet-country, "Pandora". These people are infiltrated, then attacked, brutally, burned, gassed, killed. Facing flying machines not very different from ours, these people oppose their bows, their arrows, and are decimated. The robots? But they already exist, you know well. It is not our future that is shown to us, but our present. The massive public response is a strong sign. These people are not just going to see a science fiction movie. They are only expressing the fact that they are beginning to understand what is happening on this rock, the Earth, since time immemorial, and which is now taking place on a large scale with a luxury of means that would amaze the crusaders, the conquistadors of old, and the conquerors of all times, carrying high various banners, national or ... religious. Today, one could replace this banner with ... a simple bill, a dollar, for example ....

I will give a lecture the day after tomorrow, on Friday, March 19, at 23 Impasse des Frenes, 13010 Marseille. See the theme of this one. Madame Danielle Pélissier, the organizer, will receive an entrance fee of 2 euros, in this room of thirty seats. I will bring books, including a dozen copies of now out-of-print works, like UFOs and American secret weapons, which is now difficult to find. . The lecture will be followed by a signing session.

Lanturlu in Video: already four episodes.

Non siamo fatti per vivere come bruti, mà per seguire la virtù et la cognoscenza

** Dante, the Inferno **

It is the Italians who started doing what should have already been done for years: transforming the Lanturlu comics into sound videos. I have spread it by putting links. Result: 3000 connections in four days!

As a result, they produced the next two episodes. It's a pity I only have two arms. They would have needed to be allowed to have color pages.

I have always thought that science was meant to be presented in a romantic, poetic way. Twenty years ago I had started to write the "lyrics" of An Informatician in Paris and Calculating in the Rain. But no one is a prophet in his own country, you know well.

Nevertheless, I have dozens of comic book ideas in my head and in my drawers. Amber, the Glass, the history of electricity will be in print at the beginning of next month. One thousand copies sent free of charge to CDI, CRDP, libraries or companies. Thanks to the sponsor, the host Free.

quatrieme de couverture

Managers, make the request to the person in charge of the distribution operation ( we take everything on our charge, including the shipping ) :

I am beginning to think about something. I will produce, in series, comics at 8.5 euros each, including shipping, and books at 17 euros each, also including shipping ( you will notice that this represents exactly double ). It takes two hundred orders to pay for the print run of one thousand copies ( 64 pages in color for the comics, 170 pages for the illustrated books, in black and white ). I will propose to fans of JPP productions to send me checks creating a reader account, for an amount equal to N times 8.5 euros. For now the comic book on electricity is finalized. Fishbird, on fluid mechanics, will follow. That's already two, and I have already received orders for 35 copies. The checks are in a box. I keep them cool. For Fishbird, at one hundred, I finalize and color. At two hundred, I cash the checks, print and ship. After that I will make a series of the economic comic book, to explain contemporary economic phenomena, inflation, debt money, etc. I have 24 books to offer you. Half are already finalized, and the rest is in my head, that is to say ready to emerge very quickly. When you read Amber and the Glass, you will see that I have not lost my touch. I have plenty of books in my head. I have in my drawers books you could not imagine.

With this system of "prepaid" books, if it works, I could produce them in series. I would have to collaborate with these wonderful Italians. I have completely fairy tales to offer them, full of flying carpets, glitter. Do you remember the film by Vittorio de Sica, with Gina Lollobrigida

*Pain, Love and Fantasy . *

I want to say

Science, Love and Fantasy

My dear, what is neither funny nor poetic is not really serious. I will tell you a perfectly authentic anecdote. One day I gave a ride to two Chinese, at the exit of Pertuis, who wanted to go to Aix. What were they doing in the region? It was simple: China had realized that the French agricultural plows, the agricultural tools were not yet made in China. It had to be remedied. These two sons of the Middle Kingdom were therefore on a training in an agricultural company in the region, to study the equipment closely.

When they got into my car, I said to them:

*- This economic invasion of the world by Chinese products must be fought against. I will conquer the Chinese market with a product, against which the producers there will be completely unarmed. * - Ah, but what is this miracle product?

*- A free product. I already distribute my comics to tens of thousands of copies, translated into 33 languages, including Chinese, by the way. It is downloadable for free. Against this, you, the Chinese, are not a match. As it is free, it is impossible to lower the prices! *

The two guys listened to me carefully. We arrived in Aix. They thanked me for the ride. As they left, one of them put his head out of the window and said to me:

- Before we part, I would like to have the answer to a question that has been on my mind since we left Pertuis: "How do you make money with a free product?"

Another news from these days: two young people are about to start a world tour ... of scientific popularization. I gave them the TIF versions of the comic book pages, in 33 languages, so they can make sound PowerPoint presentations in different languages. If it takes off, SSF will follow their journey. It is obvious that the team of Savoir sans Frontières, that is Gilles and me, would not be able to cope with such a task. There are thousands of pages to assemble and sound. But the idea can take off, in different countries. It would also be necessary to have echo sites. Gilles and I would not be able to manage something like that, in 33 languages. It is useless to call UNESCO to the rescue: we have already tried. You can't make a dinosaur do a steeplechase.

I will continue these news tomorrow. My friend Jacques Legalland, who has a Swiss motor glider, is watching the weather. He will inform me when the aerological conditions will finally be favorable.

It's time, I have the feathers growing

Ah, I have met a team of guys who are continuing the exploration of the underground river of Port-Miou; between Marseille and Cassis. They have an association, to which I immediately joined. They have been exploring since 1966, a exploration that I had begun in 1958 by going in with my friend Jean-Claude 400 meters from the entrance, unrolling a thread of Ariadne in hemp. One day, I will tell you. A diving suit on the back, one on the stomach. We knew how to adjust the "weight" by varying the volume of air contained in the lungs, to not go up and get caught in the stalactites when crossing a slightly salty water, nor to fall to the muddy bottom when crossing very fresh water. There are rooms 25 meters high. The water there is so pure that with the lamp it seems to be in the void. So we have ... vertigo.

They have obviously gone much further, and it ends in a well where one of them went down to 140 meters deep. The rest will have to be done with diving robots. We don't know where this bottomless pit goes.

In the exit porch, very fresh water flows on a mixture of fresh and salt water, which resembles "vaseline". I have drawings somewhere, but where? As the refraction indices are different, when looking towards the exit, one sees the surface of the fresh water - brackish water which appears greenish, with "frozen waves". Surreal.

I hope these people will invite me to do this kind of dive again. I am perfectly capable. At the slightest call, I come running. I would like to explore a room, on the right, after the entrance, where there are cubic meters of oyster shells. It is the old dining room of the people who lived in these places when this tunnel was "dry". It's not far from the Cosquer cave, where paintings showing penguins were discovered. At the time, we went to the island of Riou on foot, and even further.

When I was twenty and some, speleologists took me to the siphon blocking the sinkhole of the Foux de Sainte Anne, near Toulon. I passed through it and discovered, on the other side, a real subway tunnel ( "where the hand of man had never set foot" ). It was a small group of kids, led by ... a marquis, quite old, a fine breed quite funny. At the time, the diving speleologists, the "serious" ones, were the Lyonese. There, we had an article in the newspaper saying that we had uncovered the secret of the siphon of the Foux de Sainte Anne.

I said to the marquis ( who must have been dead for a long time )

*- Send a kid to buy a big ball of string, to make an Ariadne thread. *

I go diving into the clear water basin. On the way I find the denture that the marquis had lost, and which shone, lying on the bottom. I pass the siphon: a few tens of meters, in shallow depth. Emerging on the other side into the open air, I tie the string to a stalactite, and I go on foot in the subway tunnel, with my lamp. It was endless. After a while I turn back. But when I arrive, I see the string, cut by its own weight, hanging from the stalactite.

At the time, they still made what was called "paper string", which dissolved in water. And the dirty kid had taken that, because it was cheaper, and with the rest he could buy caramels. And I was well stuck ....

*- Where is the dirty kid who bought this damned paper string, I'll drown him! *
