Astronomy - Space - UFOs Conference
Strasbourg, October 16 and 17, 2010
Published on May 7, 2010
September 5, 2010:
Five weeks before the conference, the 200 tickets for the Saturday, October 16, 6 p.m. to midnight session, hosted by the UFO-science team, have been sold. With the hall rented by Mr. Padrines, there is therefore no more possibility to attend these conferences. I remind you that I am not the organizer of this conference. For any possible solution, please contact Mr. Padrines directly. His e-mail address:

Interview with J.P. PETIT on June 3, 2010. You will be able to hear this interview, conducted on RDL 103.5 by Hervé Laurent on June 3, 2010, about the presentation of the international conference in Strasbourg, on October 16 and 17.
The presenter began by mentioning a "Ufology Congress". I would like to immediately make a clarification. Following our last phone conversation, Mr. Michel Pardines has indeed considered changing the title of this conference and changing "Astronomy - Space - Ufology" to "Astronomy - Space - UFO Phenomenon". It's time to put an end to a "discipline" that is not one. If people want to take on such a title and present themselves as such, they will have to organize their own "Ufology Congresses", like the one in Châlons-en-Champagne in 2005.
This conference will feature a number of presentations by physicists, astrophysicists, and cosmologists. There will be pilots, both civilian and military, who will report on their testimonies. There will be people who have held responsible positions related to the file and who will report on their experiences and reflections. There will be people, like Christel Seval, who have worked extensively on files from the human sciences angle.
The approach will be resolutely pragmatic, excluding sectarian manifestations (such as those of the too-famous Raëlians) or various and diverse professions of faith. In two days, it would be impossible to exhaust such a vast subject, so the priority will be given to the construction of methods for analyzing light signals, analyzing ground traces, and scientific exploitation of data from the UFO file.
The project, focused on the concrete, is vast enough to hope that this conference will not be the scene of polemical confrontations, sterile and completely misplaced speeches.
May 16, 2010: Contradicting calumnious statements spread by people wishing to sabotage the project, the participants have directly confirmed their attendance. Link . Therefore:
An unmissable conference
A few months ago, Mr. Padrines contacted us. He wanted to organize an International Conference where the UFO topic would be addressed. There had been this lamentable precedent of the "Ufology Conference of Châlons-en-Champagne" (but it had still had 11,000 visitors and, despite its total ineptitude, had benefited from some media coverage).
Padrines spoke of guests like Stanton Friedman, Nick Pope, the son of Major Marcel. Then the name of Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe, professor of mathematics and astronomy at the University of Cardiff, specialized in the search for life in meteorites, appeared.
It had been months that, with the survivors of UFO-science, (J.C. Doré, M. Ader, X. Lafont, C. Seval and some advisors), we had thought about renting a hall in Paris to present the balance of activities over three years. About this Strasbourg conference, we had asked ourselves the question, and the general answer had been "we should go, we'll see".
Padrines tries, and it's a world first, to make a junction between science and UFOs, instead of leaving this subject in the hands of ufologists alone. I have nothing against them. Without these first-time volunteer investigators, we would never have known anything. If scientists turn away from the file, it's not the fault of the investigators, but it is a fact. In the scientific world, I am an exception that confirms the rule:
I am the only one who has placed "goals" in the "science field", publications related to the UFO topic, in 35 years
The conference organized by Padrines will last two days: Saturday, October 16 and Sunday, October 17. The UFO-science team will occupy the Saturday slot from 6 p.m. to midnight, with a sandwich break for dinner. There will be multiple presentations. We will bring Ufocatch and the MHD test bench, by truck. There will be demonstrations of manipulations.

The Ufocatch automated UFO tracking system
Padrines has chosen the formula of a conference that presents itself as a series of paid, pre-paid lectures. He told us that our UFO-science show (several speakers) would cost the visitor 18 euros (but not a cent in our pocket, I emphasize). For the other sessions, consult the conference website. The total is, I believe, 130 euros, but no one is required to attend all sessions.
A clarification: *we will all go there at the expense of the UFO-science association and none of us will be paid for our performance. We will thus remain completely financially independent from the event organized by Mr. M. Padrines. *
If this conference "works", it will be the start of an annual conference of this kind. But for that, it is necessary to avoid various pitfalls, which you can imagine without difficulty. Think of everything. Twenty years ago, for example, I participated in a kind of outdoor show on the UFO topic. The Raëlians, all dressed in white, with their damned medal (the swastika mixed with the Star of David) arrived in large numbers, trying to sell their nonsense. There, Padrines warned: "Any sectarian manifestation, in any form, will be immediately expelled by the security service."
In the hall, the first row will be reserved for scientists and scientific journalists. Padrines has therefore solicited them. If some have answered his call, others have outright said:
- Yes, if you remove all references to the UFO topic(...)
Well, that's exactly the issue: to get this UFO file out of the ghetto where it has been languishing for more than half a century, mocked by our media, managed by incompetent people. Already, in forums, people say "there will be no scientists and no astronomers and, on this point, this conference will be a failure."
I can tell you that there will be at least one astrophysicist: me. I am a specialist in galactic dynamics and on this point I have no lessons to receive from anyone, by no means. If some colleagues want to give me some, I will be waiting for them. Among the conferences I will give on Saturday, there will be one dedicated to the state of our knowledge of the Universe, in astronomy and cosmology.
By making the conferences paid, Padrines is able to invite foreigners. The conferences are payable in advance. He said there would not be any tickets sold on the day of the event. I announced this conference last week to my friends and contacts. Today, I place an official announcement on my site and on UFO-science's site, six months before the conference. A conference that we hope will receive international echo.
Meanwhile, you know that the CNES has imposed, at the Cité de l'Espace, the lamentable performances of the "Professor Moublanc".

Meanwhile, at the CNES, with the taxpayer's money, the UFO topic is being ridiculed

Hide this UFO, I can't see it.
Apart from this lamentable farce, the CNES tries to restore the reputation of a GEIPAN in decline, whose director, Yvan Blanc, now frequents "ufology dinners", complaining, like his predecessor Jacques Patenet, that scientists are not interested in the UFO file". Under the patronage of the Cité de l'Espace:

The logo of the Cité de l'Espace
the retired astronomer Jean-Claude Ribes, former director of the Lyon Observatory, advisor to the GEIPAN, member of the Cometa group, although he had declined the offer to give a conference at the conference, now takes the stage by giving a conference in an "Academy of Air and Space", recently created:

The retired astronomer Jean-Claude Ribes, academician:
member of the Academy of Air and Space
Here is the poster - announcement:

The poster announcement of Ribes' conference
Ribes will take up a totally outdated theme, which he had already developed with the astronomer Guy Monnet, in a book published twenty years ago by Larousse, titled Life on Other Planets. For these two authors, travel to other stars was possible, in huge space ships, moving at very subluminal speeds (an idea initially due to the physicist O' Neil). Immense units, with a complete ecosystem, carrying hundreds of thousands of people, for an irreversible journey, putting the closest star at 40,000 years of travel. Ships drawing their energy from hydrogen collected by a net as they pass, then extracting energy through fusion.

The "Space Ships" of physicist Gerard O' Neill (1975),
cylinders carrying hundreds of thousands of people for an irreversible journey
Paraphrasing, one could imagine natives living on some isolated island who, visited by helicopters stationed on an aircraft carrier, or flown over by jets at stratospheric altitude, would propose a model of a rowed ship.
If I attended this conference (and I hope someone will), I would say to Ribes:
*- And what about the UFO phenomenon in all of this? *
He already gave his answer in the book. It's simple: they are annexes that, detaching from these traveling ships, perform a quick exploration, then quickly return to their mother ship.
A model in line with Ribes' knowledge of the structure of the universe, close to zero. No, definitely, this new Academy of Air and Space is full of ... wind. If you are ready to take bags for lanterns, go there quickly
Yvan Blanc, head of the GEIPAN, did not respond to Padrines' invitations, who sent him three successive letters. Too bad for him. Padrines says his program is now set. It seems that the file produced by Roland Portiche, for an episode driven by the Bogdanoff brothers, advised by Nicolas Montigiani (Science and the Unexplained), is already in the box and will be broadcast this summer. The magazine Science and the Unexplained published an article of rare mediocrity, dedicated to one aspect of the UFO file, illustrated by an interview with a certain Dominique Caudron, "ufologist". Montigiani has made his choice, but I am not sure he was right. In any case, we will no longer be in his columns, know that.
We live in a pivotal era, on many levels. To date, the number of exoplanets detected exceeds 500. No astronomer worthy of the name can now doubt that life exists in the universe, other than on Earth.
One hundred billion galaxies
One hundred to one thousand billion stars in each of them
Perhaps a million systems with intelligent life in each galaxy.
In the observable universe: one hundred million billion planets with intelligent life**
No astronomer, astrophysicist can cling to the idea that we are the only living beings in the universe. But those who mention this possibility quickly temper their statements by saying "it would probably be under a primitive, bacterial form".
What is this last madness, this last manifestation of a pathetic geocentrism?
There remains the question at a hundred euros: that of visits. Possible? Impossible? This will be the issue of the debates that will take place during this conference and which imply a major overhaul of the geometry of the universe, made inevitable by the crisis in which astronomy, astrophysics and cosmology have been sinking for decades. We will talk about intra-atmospheric evolutions, using MHD and I will report on communications made in two international conferences (2008 and 2009) and three publications in a peer-reviewed journal (2009), of international level. Since the first notes in the reports of the Paris Academy of Sciences, from the mid-seventies, the "MHD disc-shaped aero-dynes" were already present in the science field. Now they spread in the minutes of conferences (The text of the Bremen communication, accompanied by recent experimental results: 19 pages) and in scientific journals. And this is only the beginning.
Interstellar travel, possible? Impossible? The same debate. Trying to answer this question requires us to re-examine our vision of the universe, its geometry, a step that has become indispensable to get out of the crisis in which astronomy, astrophysics, cosmology, and even theoretical physics have been sinking. The "bimetric" model, which makes these travels not impossible, now has new publications, other than ours. We will talk about it.
All of this has an impact. The UFO subject is part of science, but of a top-level science, difficult to access. How could it be otherwise? Two days is short to debate. It will not leave time for the endless testimonies, the expressions of opinions.
They have been fired: the temple merchants, those who sell 117 articles, T-shirts, bags, ... underpants, printed with the iconography of UFOs (see below). It's time to end this, with sectarian manifestations, with silly cloister quarrels. Place for real scientific debates, *without which nothing will ever advance. * ****

One Michel Padrines , a French individual , an alleged author of two books self published introducing guru styled investigations about Geipan cases for which he was for a while an official IPN investigator for a northern region in France close to Germany. He was fired last year as this official UFO research reckoned they could no longer work together in trustworthy terms.
A simple phone call to the publisher of one of Padrines books , Daniel Robin, taught us he still owed him 4000 euros (5500 dollars) .In parallel , a chapter director of the largest French UFO organization Les Repas Ufologiques is still owed another sum of money by Padriness.

A GHOST UFO CONGRESS IN STRASBOURG
A website announced that an international conference would be held in Strasbourg, France, in October 2010. While the list of participants includes notable names such as Stanton Friedman, Jesse Marcel, Nick Pope and others, it is worth wondering how a 200-seat cinema hall could accommodate such a large number of UFO celebrities.
While the conference was introduced as an "Astronomy - Space - UFO" conference, a source indicates that "no astronomical society is involved in this alleged conference."
The former manager of the official French GEIPAN states that "the organizer is a mythomaniac who could run away with the revenue from ticket sales."

It's Michel Padrines, a French individual, an alleged author of two self-published books introducing guru-style investigations about GEIPAN cases for which he was for a while an official IPN investigator in a northern region of France near Germany. He was fired last year as this official UFO research considered they could no longer work together in a trustworthy manner.

The organizer of the event sent this by mail:
Sir, Some isolated individuals and ufo sites, are trying to put some members of the Congress organizing body, and the Congress itself, under pressure, through slanderous attacks as well as outrage at individual freedom.
Penal charge has been addressed to Monsieur le Procureur de la République ( District attorney). This charge has been lodged against 5 persons, 2 foreign sites and a sectarian association which is likely at the root of the libel.
We can assure you that all the engagements of the organizing body will be scrupulously met and of course we are ready to answer any further information you may need.
Unfortunately such a scientific event may cause envy and deceit among some people who pretend they are ufologists but are only trouble makers.
This mail is being sent to you in order to make you aware of any malicious or ill-meaning mails you might receive.
If it should be the case, could you please communicate copy of such mails in order to put them into the penal file.
But let us come back to what matters : we confirm the press conference that will be held on June 9th, announcing the event, as well as the sending of the flight ticket at the end of June.
The 18 participants will all be accommodated in the same hotel. Confirmation of the booking through the hotel will take place within 10 days through your e-mail.
Considering the growing momentum of the event, we may have to reserve a room for 300 hundred people at the UGD Ciné Cité, a further proof of the success of our international meeting.
This mail was written out of respect to you, to keep you informed of the legal action so as our mutual trust should not be altered.
With my thanks.
Yours sincerely Michel Padrines

Following the calumnious insinuations found in the text present in this English forum (see above, on the page), we were able to quickly receive, on May 16, 2010, direct confirmations of their participation in the conference organized by Mr. Padrines, such as Nick Pope, Stanton Friedman, Chandra Wickramasinghe.
These were attempts at destabilization, which will backfire on their authors.

The stables of Augias
The project of the "Astronomy - Space - UFOs" conference organized by Michel Padrines is the object of extremely violent attacks by ufologists, who are raging in ufological forums, both French and English, calling it a mythomaniac and a swindler (see above). This project greatly disturbs many people and many people are working to sabotage it.
But I can tell you one thing: in 2010, no matter what happens, the small UFO-science group will present its work (spectroscopy, UFOcatch, MHD, presentations in major international conferences, publications in high-level scientific journals, top-level cosmology).
This presentation, in contrast, will expose the total imposture that is the CNES service (GEPAN, then SEPRA, then GEIPAN), from which nothing will ever come out, due to the flawless incompetence of its successive directors. The last one, Yvan Blanc, not wanting to be asked about 33 years of waste, responded to the three successive invitations sent by Padrines with a prudent silence.
At the heart of these attacks, "the largest French association dedicated to the UFO topic": "Les Repas Ufologiques". What is this? People gather in a restaurant, usually a supermarket cafeteria, where they listen to various and varied discussions. People testify, then each one gives their comment. Scientifically, it is absolutely null. In contrast, it is evident that this conference, if it manages to gather, a real feat, scientists presenting their work around the UFO file, will collapse this "discipline" devoid of any content: ufology, revealing its emptiness, and which can only express itself because of the guilty silence of the international scientific community, in its vast majority, with only a few exceptions.
But science and UFOs are related. We have demonstrated this for 35 years and we will continue to shout it loudly. A real science, and not a farce like the speeches of the (truly) retired astronomer Jean-Claude Ribes, with his caravels of the third millennium. See above.
The magazine Science and the Unexplained, which was initially a courageous and intelligent initiative, is sinking into scandalous nonsense. In most cases, the articles are not signed. This is because they are written by the editor-in-chief, Nicolas Montigiani. Their content is then of unimaginable variability. While the article on Chinese pyramids is interesting, Montigiani gives us a seven-page article, where he dismisses the Ummo case in one stroke, with a text of nonsensical stupidity, supported by an interview with the ufologist Dominique Caudron :

Dominique Caudron, distinguished ufologist, interviewed by Science and the Unexplained
Soon to appear in a future "scientific" broadcast by the Bogdanoff brothers **** **
Letter addressed by Mr. Rode Migdal to the editor-in-chief of Science and Unexplained, May 2010, Mr. Montigiani I need not introduce myself, you were kind enough to publish an excerpt of my message regarding the GLNF (Grand Lodge of French National Freemasons), which, by the way, is going through an unprecedented crisis, which has since largely confirmed my statements.
But today I am returning to the article regarding the Ummo dossier.
I have no opinion on this subject, I have read many books on the matter, but lacking the necessary scientific knowledge, I refrain from any conclusion.
However, I am speechless after reading the interview with Mr. Caudron. Why have you given a voice to this gentleman whom you present as an amateur astronomer? I do not dispute the fact that autodidacts can reach a high level of knowledge, but when Mr. Caudron cites, without citing, JP Petit, it borders on absolute nonsense. How can one seriously give Mr. Caudron any credibility in front of Mr. Petit, a CNRS researcher specializing in astrophysics, admittedly criticized, even despised, but never contradicted by the entire scientific community, which has no valid arguments to oppose to him?
It is a total hypocrisy for an amateur to dare to criticize a scientist, I don't even know if he is aware of the absurdity in which he has fallen.
I imagine he would be completely incapable of decoding the entire set of mathematical formulas emitted by JP Petit. I emphasize that I have no interests or benefits in defending Mr. Petit, but between a confirmed professional and an amateur, no matter how competent, my choice is quick.
Considering his portrait, I will spare you a psycho-morphological analysis, always dangerous, but one can clearly sense in the character, to summarize, an evident self-satisfaction, which is always a barrier to any open-minded idea.
The first-class burial of the Ummite dossier and the UFO dossier in general, delivered by Mr. Caudron, is of rare stupidity.
Personally, I have never seen Australians, but I do not question their existence, and if they ever arrive in my garden, I will try to communicate with them by showing them pictures of kangaroos, so they are not too nostalgic.
These statements are exactly at the level of Mr. Caudron's way of considering the UFO phenomenon, which is an insult to intelligence.
The example given in conclusion remains a monument; by citing the Dreyfus Affair, I wonder what he wants to demonstrate, justice having already passed through there, rehabilitating the honor of a victim of antisemitism.
In short, Mr. Caudron has both feet in the mud, but he still sings, which is very French, but all in all, really ineffective. Is Mr. Caudron a "debunker"? It would not be surprising.
I am surprised by your choice, I understand your desire to seek the truth, to contrast theses, to try to separate the wheat from the chaff, but there... Honestly...
YVES RODDE-MIGDAL
A thorough cleaning must be done, because when it comes to nonsense, it's not over. The Bogdanoff brothers, with whom I was once friends, more than twenty years ago, but who are now ready to do absolutely anything to continue appearing on television, have concocted an UFO dossier, already filmed by director Roland Portiche, which will be released next summer, along with a special issue of Science and Unexplained dedicated to the subject. Perhaps a good commercial success, but when one learns that Caudron contributed to it, mediocrity is assured.
After this dossier, a real bad action in terms of thought, I believe I will come out of a reserve motivated by loyalty to an old friendship and I will express myself on this "Bogdanoff affair" as well.
In this thorough cleaning, there is the expulsion of the "temple merchants," and on this subject you will discover a stunning performance.
We managed to remove from the Strasbourg program a lecture by Mr. Denocla, pillar of this farce, this quasi-cult, http://www.ummo-science.com
A member of UFO-science, Xavier Lafont, is currently finalizing a site "ummofiles," which will probably be open this summer, and will present these texts (without copyrights or silly tattoos: "ADUMMO," meaning "Association for the Defense of Ummo," in fact a proper and proper takeover) accompanied by genuinely scientific comments. Because, due to people who carried out a real takeover on this dossier ten years ago, and above all the former soldier André Jacques Holbecq, it has become the property of the "temple merchants," the arena of all intellectual vulgarities, of all silly and vulgar mercantilism.
Holbecq, after recovering the content of the site initially created by webmaster Nicolas Lecot, created a forum, full of mega-octets of inconsistent chatter, designed to locate the scientists who, internationally, had shown interest in this dossier. After several years of failure, he now infiltrates the altermondialist circles, publishing books on an uncontrolled leftism.
"Pollion," who, lacking a name, has taken a pseudonym (evoking Champollion, the famous decipherer of ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs), which he does not dare to abandon, out of fear of returning to his anonymity, has become the singer of a "ummological" culture, which he displayed with satisfaction and complacency at the "ufology" conference in Châlons in Champagne, in 2005:

The Belgian "Pollion" at the "ufological" conference in Châlons in Champagne, in 2005
The group "Ummo-science" had at that time produced a group "experts," tasked with rating apocryphal letters, which did not take long to arrive. This group, in the end, sank into complete ridicule. Pollion, solemnly, had authenticated one of the letters by decoding one of the sentences that adorned it, using his mastery of the Ummite language. Unfortunately, the sender, in a subsequent letter, admitted that all of this was a joke, intended to evaluate the credibility of the group, and that this word actually referred to the product intended to loosen the chain of his bicycle...
But the crowning glory, the blue ribbon, is undoubtedly held by this Denis Roger Denocla, pillar of the site http://www.ummo-science.com, who carries his UFO dinner business from one UFO dinner to another. Type his name on Google. You will quickly end up on his site where he offers 117 articles, for sale, including now an album, composed in ... Ummite language and sung by him!

For 21 euros, you can buy underwear with a reproduction of the Ummite vehicle:

Another product, commercialized by Denocla, the underwear (21 euros) with an Ummo image
And now, the crowning glory: an album where he presents a song composed in ... Ummite: http://www.denocla.com/?p=717〈=fr

Shocking vulgarity!

http://www.denocla.com/?p=717%E2%8C%A9=fr
Denocla, at the bottom left, author and interpreter, soon to be sold at UFO dinners
We managed to barely remove this clown from the program of this Strasbourg conference, where Padrines had immediately welcomed him.
T-shirts, bags and even underwear on which he had printed by screen printing excerpts from the illustrations found in the Ummo texts! And this is the kind of articles he would have proposed in one of the stands that the Strasbourg conference intends to make available to speakers.
Why not take the pseudonym Albert Stein, while we're at it? Why not "UFO-science" keychains, sold in a stand?
At the Châlons in Champagne conference, the customer could buy inflatable dolls evoking extraterrestrials....

An UFO stand at the International UFO Conference in Châlons in Champagne, 2005
Will we ever be able to get this UFO dossier out of these lamentable clowneries, possibly institutionalized? We need to clean these stables of Augias.
By Sirius, and there is a lot of work ahead!

A prescription prior to a chemotherapy he was about to undergo (the word framed in red by me):

When I went to Strasbourg to participate, along with Mr. Christel Seval, in the press conference organized by Mr. Padrines, I could see that he had vision problems, preventing him from driving his own vehicle. The day after my departure, under pressure from his girlfriend, he consulted and, after the examination, it turned out that this was due to a brain metastasis compressing the optic nerve, which the doctors then tried to treat with radiotherapy.
Mr. Padrines is currently undergoing chemotherapy. He made it clear that if his health condition prevented him from conducting the conference he himself had organized, his girlfriend, family members, and close friends would ensure the proper functioning of this event. He also made arrangements so that if this conference left any surplus in the accounts of his association, it would be donated to associations dealing with cancer research.
We will be present regardless. We will present a wide range of results, regarding methods of information capture, regarding the UFO phenomenon. J.C. Doré will demonstrate his UFOcatch system of acquisition, tracking, and spectrum taking in front of the public. We have good hopes of being able to offer the public self-adhesive network caps, adaptable on mobile phones, which are currently being manufactured in China. The low-density MHD test bench, finalized and operational, will be brought into the hall and the spectators will be able to see it in operation. Once completed, this bench has produced unprecedented scientific results. The program of the following tests will be discussed. Mr. Ader will talk about the hydraulic test program and the detection of ground traces by laser fluorescence. Mr. Laffont will talk about the detection of landing traces by thermal signature visualization. An experiment will illustrate his point. I will talk about my different works until the end of our session, on Saturday, October 16, at midnight.
If readers intend to testify their support for Mr. Padrines, they can do so at the following e-mail address, which I take the liberty of reproducing.
The UFO dinners
I have never personally attended this type of event. I heard about it from various people who participated. These meetings seem generally poor in content. People gather in a restaurant. Possibly witnesses describe experiences or observations. And it always ends in a fizzle.
Sometimes the organizers invite speakers, of very variable levels. With a few clicks you can check it yourself. By going to the site of the Strasbourg UFO Dinners
