Update of September 25, 2007: Deployment of the US armada in the Persian Gulf.

You will not find mention of the poll reproduced a little further on in any organ of the mainstream press, whether written press or television. More than ever, the news now only filters through this "web-press". I cannot forget the dishonorable remarks of Philippe Val, editor-in-chief of Charlie Hebdo, in an April 2004 program entitled "September 11 did not happen", on ARTE. What is this fellow waiting for to produce an editorial in his newspaper? Does he still hold the same opinion? If so, let him express it. If he has changed his mind or if he has doubts, let him say so. But no, he courageously hides away in his office. Fine press ethics!

I have just laboriously translated the boxed text below, which refers to the aforementioned poll. I think all of this is important. Beside that, I am dismayed by the state of lethargy, the blindness, the meager intellectual awareness of my fellow researchers.

shipwreck

I have already said somewhere that a guy I have known for a long time and who has known me for a long time, who recently produced a voluminous work of epistemology, told me:

*- Impossible to invite you to speak at one of our assemblies as long as you persist in claiming, for example, that no plane hit the Pentagon. *

In doing so, this man was acting as the echo, the emissary of a community of astrophysicists and cosmologists. Presumably "highly specialized" brains.

I have work in multiple fields. I have to write scientific texts, take care of Savoir sans Frontières (where only my friend Gilles d'Agostini handles the accounting and the payment of translators. For the rest I am totally alone in managing 90 translators single-handedly). But what my readers send me forces me to react, constantly. I have to relay this information. Fatigue is responsible for a sometimes painful number of typos.

I believe we are living through grave hours, the years of all dangers. I glimpsed a moment ago that the percentage of Americans who were in favor of the impeachment of Dick Cheney was growing by three points each month. The grounds for accusation have nothing to do with the pressures that were once exerted on Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton. The first, a fine affair, had put his political opponents under surveillance, the second had chased a bit of skirt in the corridors of the White House. Here, it is much more serious. The people implicated, if the facts are confirmed, would be the direct or indirect perpetrators of thousands of assassinations, prepared, carried out cold-bloodedly, with the same putrid and bloody whiff as that of Nazi barbarism. It would not be about two people, the president and the vice-president of the United States, but about a conspiracy of unprecedented scope and monstrosity, involving hundreds of people, at least in the first degree, many others having possibly been skillfully manipulated. These people are going to find themselves cornered. They risk much more than simple impeachment. The gravity of the alleged facts should earn them long prison sentences, at the end of a trial beside which the Nuremberg trial would resemble an Offenbach operetta.

Some readers would be tempted to say:

*- What, let's be done once and for all with these idiotic conspiracy theories! Let's shed all the light and show that it is nothing but absurdities! Let's carry out, for example, a rapid reconstruction of the attack on the Pentagon, at a moderate cost, given the stakes. Let's show that a Boeing 727 can perfectly well create everything that was observed during the crash. It is enough to build a rough copy of one of the wings of the most protected building in America, in a deserted place, to plant grass in front (and to water it well, as one of my readers recently suggested), to position the same number of video cameras as those that were in place around the site that day, to bring in an aircraft containing corpses, if not of humans, at least of animals. An aircraft that would have in its holds the same quantity of luggage, in its tanks the same quantity of kerosene. Then one would make this aircraft follow the same trajectory by remote control using a high-frequency beacon. One would succeed, at the end of a spiral descent approach and a final 180° turn, in finalizing an approach at 600 kilometers per hour (high-lift flaps and landing gear not deployed) at 40 centimeters from the ground, without touching the lawn. Then one would observe, to put an end to all these scandalous rumors, that the body of the aircraft does indeed manage to rush through a hole three meters by three, that the wings vanish, as do the two engines, on striking the facade, without leaving any notable traces, without breaking the windows, that the kerosene they contain burns without damaging the lawn, that no body is found in the building, no object allowing the slightest identification: fragments of a suitcase, a shoe, a pair of glasses, a set of dentures. Let us clear our leaders of these odious accusations! *

Yes, if one managed to carry out such a reconstruction, which would cost less than a single day of war in Iraq, then the conspiracy theorists would be pointed at.

*- If, as the Lacedaemonians said ..... *

But if this reconstruction proved impossible, if its result contradicted everything that had been alleged in the official version, if the building were gutted, the lawn scorched, if thousands of debris, material and human, were found in the surroundings and inside the building, if these effects could only have been produced with the help of a cruise missile, as mentioned during the Rumsfeld interview, by the man himself. ....

Then many people would begin to think that we would be facing the most monstrous act in all of history, as far back as human memory can go. Facing a crime against humanity, since it led, besides the death of 3000 American citizens, to that of more than a thousand G.I.s of the expeditionary corps, of a hundred thousand Iraqi civilians. Millions of men and women belonging to one or more ethnic groups on which dictators managed to focus all the unexpressed hatreds have already been killed. Their death was planned with cynicism. But never in human history would a group of officials at the highest levels have fomented an atrocious self-attack causing the death of three thousand of their compatriots, to allow the country to be launched into a repressive policy on a planetary scale whose goal would have been to extend its grip over the entire world and over its oil resources.

It is the monstrosity of the question that makes those who merely consider it rare, for six years now.

I remember a report that had been shown on television, which showed excerpts from a public, televised indictment of the CIA's exactions with, in the hot seat, its former director. Before a brake was put on its power, the CIA had "permission to kill", everywhere, and especially abroad (remember that this is also the leitmotif of agent double zero seven, agent of Her Gracious Majesty, who also has "permission to kill" and who, in the course of his films, ritually met his little CIA buddy, whose name I have forgotten, but with whom he collaborated closely. In a film oriented toward space the CIA is represented by a beautiful colleague, very sexy, but very well equipped, too, to send people from life to death).

At one point the prosecutor questions the ex-director of the CIA, about assassinations perpetrated by the agency, with groups made up of infiltrated South Vietnamese and American advisers, in North Vietnam, for the purpose of provoking the conflict:

- These assassinations concerned how many men?

- About ten thousand...

That answer left me speechless. Didn't it you?

drapeau_us_sanglant

Let us return to the conspiracy thesis of September 11. If this gloomy hypothesis were confirmed, then remember that the people who would have organized all this would still be in place, in the highest decision-making positions, in the United States.

Wouldn't the launching of the Third World War constitute for them the final escape route? A nuclear attack against Iran would suffice.

The question is on everyone's lips. No, Iran and behind it all of Islam would not capitulate immediately, even if a thousand "strategic" targets of the country were struck in a few days by waves of nuclear devices carried by cruise missiles, carried under the wings of B-52s or fired from ships or submarines, assisted by thermobaric bombs (alias "vacuum bombs"), by "mini-nukes". On the simple local level, Iran is far more difficult to "hold" than Iraq. Beyond that, a billion human beings are not crushed, moreover scattered throughout the entire world, because one possesses the most sophisticated technology on the planet.

In this regard, quite a few things prove worrying. The American press is for example currently engaging in the same bludgeoning of public opinion that it had done before the attack on Iraq. Everything is done, and this document bears witness to it, for the American citizen to associate Iran and terrorism. A poll revealed that 67% of Americans watching Foxnews broadcasts were convinced of it.

That's two out of three.

In 2008, elections will designate another American president. If the Democrats get in, what are the risks that the September 11 affair will burst into the open and that the officials currently in power will be indicted for the greatest crime ever committed? See also other reasons for the ruling team of the United States to precipitate the month of May (and the entire world) into war: the state of American monetary dilapidation, an article published in a web-press: Agoravox.

Another subject of worry, French this time, which evokes a dangerous rapprochement between Sarkozy and Bush.

Here are the recent (September 16, 2007) statements of Koushner, in charge of foreign policy affairs (who in no case could evoke such serious measures without the approval of his presidential hierarchy).

Implicit support for the United States

koushner

The third-worldist Bernard Koushner

Source: http://www.lefigaro.fr/international/20070916.WWW000000070_kouchner_durcit_le_ton_face_a_liran.html (archive of 06/23/2016)article of September 16, 2007

The head of diplomacy advocates negotiation "to the end", while coming out in favor of European sanctions against Tehran.

*"We must prepare for the worst," declared Bernard Kouchner, on the subject of Iran, on Sunday. Asked on the Grand Jury RTL/Le Figaro/LCI what that meant, the head of diplomacy replied: "it's war." "We prepare by first trying to draw up plans that are the preserve of general staffs, and that won't happen tomorrow," he continued. "But we prepare by saying 'we will not accept that this (Iranian atomic) bomb be built, suspend uranium enrichment and we'll show you that we are serious'" by proposing "that more effective sanctions eventually be drawn up." "We must negotiate to the end," said the minister. But the possession of the atomic weapon by Tehran would be a "real danger for the whole world," said Bernard Kouchner, even if "no sign allows us to think, apart from military preparations," that a bombing of Iran is near. "I don't believe we are there yetbut it is normal that we draw up plans," he said, adding that the army was not associated with anything nor with any maneuver whatsoever. *

Large French companies called upon

*The head of the Quai d'Orsay also wished that the European Union prepare sanctions against Tehran. "We have decided, while the negotiation continues -and it must intensify- to prepare ourselves for possible sanctions outside of UN sanctions, which would be European sanctions," he declared. "Our German friends proposed it," he added, specifying that these would be "economic sanctions concerning financial circuits" targeting in particular "the great fortunes, the banks" in Iran, not the ordinary population. *

*Bernard Kouchner indicated in this regard that Paris had called upon large French companies, citing in particular Total and GDF. "We have already asked a certain number of our large companies not to respond to" Iranian calls for tender (…) I believe that this has been heard and we are not the only ones to have done that." *

*The sanctions file against Iran, with the prospect of a new Security Council resolution instituting new measures, will be at the center of Bernard Kouchner's visits to Moscow on Monday and Tuesday and then to Washington at the end of the week. *

Tehran will not back down

In parallel, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad once again declared that Iran mastered uranium enrichment at the industrial level and would not back down in the face of pressure from the international community, during an interview on Iranian television. "Of course, we will not back down," declared President Ahmadinejad in response to a viewer who asked him not to give in on the nuclear issue. "They (the Westerners) talk about imposing sanctions on us. But they cannot do it," he said, without however reacting to the statements of Bernard Kouchner.

Simple clarification: Pakistan, belonging "to the Muslim bloc" already possesses the nuclear weapon, and it is probably the same for Korea, another pole of "the axis of Evil".

We live on a powder keg. Let us recall that the Vietnam war was triggered by President Johnson on the basis of an "incident in the Gulf of Tonkin" where units of the American fleet were supposedly attacked by the North Vietnamese. It was later demonstrated that these allegations were pure and simple lies. But at that time the invasion of South Vietnam by the communists must doubtless have represented "a danger for the planet". We know today the plans that had been concocted by the CIA to justify an American intervention in Cuba at the time when Kennedy was president, which involved the mortar bombardment of the Guantanamo base (an American base established in the south-east of the island of Cuba) by ... agents of the agency, who would have constituted another form of self-attack.

Today we know, and the information this time perfectly tangible, that the Iranians have the only supersonic cruise missile, the most sophisticated in the world, of Russian manufacture, weighing 5 tons, flying at Mach 2.5 at ten meters altitude, following the terrain or skimming the water, and hyperfast torpedoes, copies of the Russian Sqwal, which the Chinese delivered to them as well as Kilo-type submarines, bought from the Russians. In contrast to the Iraqis, the Iranians are fully in a position, not to prevail in the event of a conflict (especially ... nuclear), but to deal damaging blows to a unit of the American fleet that would venture into the Arabian-Persian Gulf:

carte_golfe_arabo_persique

.

Indeed such a missile, making, except during the very last minutes, its approach in mountainous valleys could not be detected in time by, for example, an American aircraft carrier.

tir_d_un_sunburn

Firing of a Sunburn from a surface vessel

Cruise missiles are very powerful and almost unmatched weapons. The loss of a destroyer, destroyed by a missile fired from an Egyptian vessel was the only notable damage recorded by the Israelis during the Six-Day War.

To create the pretext, the Americans could carry out an attack on one of their own ships (a flagship of their fleet, if possible, for example an aircraft carrier) by one of their own Tomahawk cruise missiles fired from one of their submarines. The target ship would be defenseless against such a shot, because its anti-missile units are not programmed to counter attacks coming from its own weapons. Recall that the British destroyer Sheffield was sunk, during the Falklands War, by a French Exocet missile fired by an Argentine French Etendard IV aircraft, operating from the continent. There too, the English ship's defense had not been designed to face an attack using a missile produced by a "friendly" nation (each missile has its own radar signature, corresponding to its homing system toward its target and the Sunburn missile, if its cruise is programmed at the time of firing and self-guided onto its target when the latter is "in sight". .

The Americans are deploying in the Arabian-Persian Gulf. That, plus forty escort ships

Deployment of a US armada in the Persian Gulf: Three aircraft carriers, including a nuclear aircraft carrier, the Nimitz, as well as the Dwight Eisenhower and the John Stennis- supported by about forty escort vessels, and nearly a hundred carrier-based aircraft, have been assigned to this zone where they will benefit from the support of the gigantic American military infrastructure in Iraq, the new testing ground for modern American warfare in the Third World, of the Manama naval base (Bahrain), anchorage point of the American fifth fleet in this oil region, of Israel, the strategic partner of the United States in the zone, as well as the relay bases of Diego Garcia (Indian Ocean) and Doha (Qatar), which houses the operational command post of CentCom (the American central command) and whose competence extends over the crisis axis going from Afghanistan to Morocco.

*Another "self-attack" against the Nimitz (4000 men on board) and it's the start of World War III. *

September 25, 2007. The opinion of a journalist from a pan-Arab daily Al-Quds Al-Arabi

Source: http://www.courrierinternational.com/article.asp?obj_id=77366

Abd Al-Bari Atwan, director of the pan-Arab nationalist daily, lists nine clues tending to prove that a war will take place in the next six months.

*After the summer, serious business restarts. Western diplomacy is getting back in motion, and everything indicates that it will focus again on the Middle East. In the months to come, the focal point will be Iran, the next target of the Americans. We must expect an unprecedented political, diplomatic, media and military escalation against this country and its nuclear program. Because the time remaining to President George Bush is now numbered to deal with this matter. A certain number of recent developments suggest that the war will take place in the next six months, unless there is a miracle in the form of a capitulation, similar to that of Libya or, more recently, of North Korea.

First clueTo speak of the Iranian nuclear danger, George Bush used the terms "nuclear holocaust", thus clearly warning Tehran not to go further in its uranium enrichment program, as if he wanted both to accentuate the threat against Iran and to prepare American, even international, public opinion for the eventuality of a use of American nuclear weapons against this country.

Second clueThe new French president, Nicolas Sarkozy, is beginning to occupy the place left vacant by Tony Blair, namely that of Washington's best ally. He has therefore abandoned the Chirac line in favor of an Americanization of his positions on the Middle East. On his return from his American summer vacation, he declared to the 188 ambassadors representing France throughout the world that the acquisition of nuclear weapons was the red line not to be crossed and that Iran would inevitably expose itself to bombardments if it did not renounce its ambitions.

Third clueThe American journalist Seymour Hersh stated before a group of French colleagues met a few weeks ago in Paris that he had learned from sources at the White House that the decision to strike against Iran had already been taken, that the final word in this matter now belonged to the camp close to Vice President Dick Cheney [hawk], and that Defense Minister Robert Gates would soon present his resignation because of the catastrophic consequences he expects in the event of war.

Fourth clueOne of the American under secretaries of state, Nicholas Burns, explained to Roger Cohen, of the New York Times, that most of the Sunni countries of the region consider Iran a troublemaker supporting terrorism and a threat to regional stability. He added that these countries, and notably the oil monarchies of the Gulf, have understood that Iran represented a more serious threat than Israel.

Fifth clueThe United States has had the Iranian Revolutionary Guards [the Pasdaran] placed on the international list of terrorist organizations. They have also hardened their tone by again accusing Tehran of supporting the Iraqi resistance, including Al-Qaida, with deliveries of sophisticated weapons that are increasing the human toll on American forces.

Sixth clueSaudi Arabia has signed a contract worth an estimated 5 billion dollars with an American company to train and equip some 35,000 men responsible for protecting its oil installations. It should be known that a year ago Al-Qaida had prepared an attack against these installations, but had not managed to penetrate the high-security zones. Iran, on the other hand, would have the means to attack them with a suicide plane or with its Shihab missiles, which could cause the collapse of Saudi crude exports. That is moreover why the Americans maintain their Patriot anti-missile missile batteries in the region, notably in Kuwait and near the Saudi coasts.

Seventh clueThe haste with which Washington is preparing an international peace conference, planned for the autumn, and pressing Mahmoud Abbas and Ehud Olmert to meet to announce an agreement in principle. Success in this area would facilitate a recourse to the military option against Iran, insofar as it would satisfy the Sunnis of the region, who could then make common cause with the United States and Israel to fight Iran's allies, namely Syria, the Lebanese Hezbollah and the Palestinian Hamas.

Eighth clueGeorge Bush's sudden reversal regarding the Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki. After having suggested that he wanted his resignation, he then gave him a pat on the back. The most plausible explanation for this change is that the plans concerning Iran have been accelerated and that the American administration believes it no longer has enough time to provoke a change of government in Iraq.

Ninth clueThe very recent withdrawal of British troops from Basra, which means on the one hand that Great Britain is now convinced that victory in Iraq is impossible, and on the other hand that it wishes to remove its troops from the risk of Iranian reprisals in the event of American air strikes. The British soldiers stationed in Basra, a short distance from the Iranian border, would indeed be an ideal target for the Iranians. Faced with the two defeats in Iraq and in Afghanistan, Bush believes that the only possibility left to him to save his presidency and preserve his party's chances in the next elections consists in trying everything, that is to say in attacking Iran. He accepts the risk of a new defeat, knowing perfectly well that the Iranian missiles will not reach New York or Washington, but Tel Aviv, Riyadh or Dubai. *

MOSCOW, September 24 - RIA Novosti. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared that Iran was in no way seeking a war with the United States, Reuters reported on Sunday. "The opinion according to which the United States and Iran are heading toward a war is erroneous," the Iranian president declared in response to a question from a correspondent of the American channel CBS evoking the possibility of a war between the two countries. Reports of the possibility of an American military operation against Iran have been increasingly relayed by the world media in recent times. George W. Bush has repeatedly evoked the nuclear threat represented by Tehran and accused Iran of supporting Iraqi insurgents fighting American soldiers. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad further stressed in his interview with CBS that Iran did not need the nuclear weapon. The president of the Islamic Republic traveled to New York on Sunday in order to take part in the 62nd session of the United Nations General Assembly which opened on September 18. It is the third time that he has taken part in the work of the General Assembly since the summer of 2005, the date of his election to the presidency of the country. Ahmadinejad is expected during his visit to New York to meet the UN secretary general Ban Ki-Moon as well as several heads of state and to deliver a speech before an assembly of American religious leaders of the Muslim, Christian and Jewish faiths. The Iranian president will attend his traditional meeting with the representatives of the Iranian diaspora in the United States and plans to give a lecture at Columbia University, which despite the pressure of public opinion has not been canceled up to now.

It is a fact that a Muslim country already possesses the atomic bomb: Pakistan. Israel possesses it too, at about a hundred copies, as well as missile-launching submarines and presumably land launch sites, constituting a deterrent force with respect to an Iranian attack. Moreover about a hundred operational nuclear warheads are currently "on the loose" around the world, quite a few having been "mislaid" at the time of the collapse of the Soviet Empire. If it were a matter of acquiring a few of them for the purpose of perpetrating a terrorist act, there would be no need for Iran. There would also be "dirty bombs": radioactive products dispersed by a conventional explosion. That being so, there is no 100% civil nuclear power, everyone knows it. Any civil nuclear activity is liable to be diverted by developing "plutonium-producing reactors". The development of a nuclear industry in Iran will inevitably mean that this country too will eventually possess nuclear weapons. The only difference is that Iran continues to brandish the non-recognition of the state of Israel and its desire to drive the Jews "out of Palestine". There are precedents. That imbecile Nasser, who got a Six-Day War on the snout. Then that other imbecile Saddam Hussein, with his invasion of Kuwait. More of a fool, you die. The ejection of the Jews from their bit of promised land is simply an unrealistic project. These people would prefer to die rather than let themselves be thrown into the sea. And if they suffered an irremediable nuclear attack, their missile-launching submarines would wipe a good ten Arab cities off the map of the world.

Question: can one trust the intelligence of Mamoud Ahmadinejad and his turbaned cronies? That is the whole question.

Our friend Mamoud intends to meet the UN secretary general and to speak before the leaders of Muslim, Christian and Jewish religious communities. Very well. But on this occasion will someone, even if only this secretary general himself, think of putting a key question to him:

- When will Iran decide to recognize the simple existence of the state of Israel? When will diplomatic ties, exchanges of embassies between the two countries be established?

This would in no way mean recognition of the Israeli State within its current borders, which could be specified in the declaration. This does not rule out a challenge to these border limits, nor does it imply glossing over the Palestinian problem. But a first step would be, on the part of the Arab countries, to concede recognition in principle, and not to periodically make declarations to the effect that "these people must go home." An attitude that would reduce tensions in this powder keg of the world. Before Mamoud Ahmadinejad there were the rodomontades of Yasser Arafat, of the same ilk, just as idiotic.

Saying this is not "being a Zionist" as some of my readers claim in the emails they send me. The primary goal of politics should simply be humane. There are good people among the Jews who wish that the Palestinians could have a decent life. There are good people among the Arabs who wish that the Jews could finally know peace. But there are in both camps other people, extremists who do their best to maintain tensions.

If an Arab leader adopted the suggested position, would he enjoy his current support? Remember: Anwar El Sadate did not last long. He was assassinated by his own soldiers during a troop review, they sprang from a truck to strafe with automatic weapons the stand where he was. As for Mamoud Ahmadinejad, even if he realizes that this would be the thing to do, in today's Iran he would not have a week to live, in his own country.

The global situation is becoming absurd. That being said, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's maneuver remains quite shrewd at the moment. Saddam Hussein should have had this idea before him and come to Iraq to explain that his country did not want war. By allowing the free movement of experts searching for "weapons of mass destruction" he would have gotten out of it easily, since he did not possess any. Instead he played the swaggerer, the war plunged his country into fire and blood and he himself ended up at the end of a rope.

The French and our third-worldist Koushner specified that the acquisition of a nuclear industry was, for Iran, "the red line not to be crossed," otherwise, war.

The planet looks like a saloon filled with cowboys armed to the teeth. If a single one draws, it's a general shootout.

saloon

When you think about it, you see that two subsets of the planet cannot position themselves in the new form of struggle, "non-belligerent," toward which the great powers, in particular China and India, in full ascent, are heading. It is economic warfare, which is just as ruthless, and may in the long run be just as harmful as conventional warfare. The two left behind are:

- The Arab-Muslim groups - The Africans

Those have as their only "marbles" their oil and, concerning the Africans, crude oil and mineral resources. For all the rest they are out of the game, being barely capable of developing competitive production tools and technologies. Economic warfare is "a stabilizing factor" with respect to armed conflicts. There will be no cold war for example between the United States and China. The Chinese know that there are better things to do than "flexing their muscles." If they are nevertheless preparing, as discreetly as possible, a nuclear strike force with vectors of sufficient range, it is under the cover of a new conquest of the Moon. Remember. Before the rise of space conquest the Americans were developing modest rockets with a range of 5000 km. It was simply the distance to cover to strike Russia from the glacis of their bases, installed on the periphery. The Russian rockets? 8000 kilometers. Normal. It was the Russia-USA distance. As for the Chinese rockets they must be able to carry payloads to 12,000 km, the China-USA distance.

No cold war, but no attacks on the monetary level either, although China already holds Uncle Sam by his goatee because of the assets it holds, which give it the power to put the dollar in difficulty at any moment. But it will not do so. It is not going to put in difficulty a client, a temporary partner. Let's keep .. playing.

In chess there are two types of games:

- Open games - Closed games

All games end with a final settling of scores with a winner and a loser (with the difference that in what is currently brewing on the planet there might in the end be only losers. But nobody cares). In open games, the butchery starts fairly early, in the center of the board. In closed games the two opponents block the play, by positioning interlocking lines of pawns face to face. Movement then becomes delicate, behind the lines. After this closure the second task consists in positioning one's batteries well, in a phase of the game where nothing much seems to be happening. But when the barbed-wire lines blow up it is the one who has his long-range pieces best placed who wins. It is so effective that in modern championships open games are no longer in order. If one opener opens by attacking in the center, the other leaves him that ground, blocking the play without difficulty.

The world is the arena for a number of players in a closed game. In this game, China, at work in every corner of the planet, is a formidable potential adversary. Africans and Arab-Muslims are potential losers in this game. They still have the weapon of suicide commandos, which is quite real. The most formidable adversary is the one who does not care about dying. Yet in the Muslim region wielded by the fundamentalists one can reach Allah's paradise by becoming a martyr. It is simplistic, but it works. Worse: if this Arab-Muslim world is faced with a complete dead end, the phenomenon could multiply, against which practically nothing can be done.

No chance is offered to Africans to get out of it, except through corruption, for a tiny fringe of the population. Their wealth is coveted, their country is treated like a garbage dump. What arguments can be put forward to slow the spread of Islamization, already omnipresent in Indonesia, in Africa?

Those who risk provoking a conflict are those who have time working against them (the American Hawks) and those who ride an ideology of despair and who have no alternative solution.

What are the risks that this gesture, which would inevitably lead to the general conflagration of the planet, might take place?

Before the outbreak of the Second World War the vast majority of French people did not think for a single second that such an event could occur, even though the menu was on the door. People said, my mother told me a hundred times when I was a child: "People said: with the weapons we have today, you can't imagine what would happen. Everything would be settled in a few weeks." Yet Hitler had clearly set out, verbally and in his writings, his expansionist strategy, aiming at the conquest of "living space." Many Germans knew that war was inevitable and wanted it, judging that it was a "feasible" project. Germany was going to show its power as a strong State, compared with the "weak States," the despicable democracies, which would bend, submit or .. collaborate in the establishment of a "New Europe, Germanized." The rapid collapse of France confirmed this thesis. But England resisted the terror strategy of the Blitz, the bombing of London, targeting the civilian population, a methodical application of the techniques tested during the Spanish War on the village of Guernica, pounded by the bombers of the German Condor Legion..

You know the rest.

| Anti-Semitism in Hergé By the way, a simple remark, I have just read the thick book (more than seven hundred pages) by Pierre Assouline, published by Folio, devoted to the life of Hergé. It is extremely well documented. Everything is in there: the beginnings of his career as a comic strip artist, his private life. Yes, Hergé was a fantastic pioneer. He is "the Walt Disney of comic strips". He was the first to conceive of comics as a film, as a "story board", with a script, suspense, gags. He generalized the use of the speech balloon, the bubble, whereas before him the texts were at the bottom of the drawings, as in "Le Sapeur Camembert" or "Bécassine". In 2007 his albums have not aged a bit. As a cartoonist, I appreciate his extremely well-documented staging. I have just re-read "Tintin in Tibet". Did this man ever set foot in the mountains? Be that as it may, everything is there: the lighting, the techniques, the gestures. And it is the same for all the fields he tackled, from the depths of the seas to the conquest of the Moon. Like many, I discovered that his first productions dated from 1920 and that works such as The Shooting Star (The Blue Lotus, The Secret of the Unicorn, Red Rackham's Treasure appeared in the middle of the war, between 1941 and 1943. What one discovers then is a peaceful situation of collaboration. I learn that certain Belgians were no more brilliant than we French on that front. One also discovers the personality of a man who remained superbly indifferent to everything that could be happening around him, blind and deaf, preoccupied only with his art and his professional success. In the middle of a world war, neither the newspaper Le Soir, which published his strips in episodes, nor the Caterman editions, which produced his albums, ever ran short of paper or ink, with print runs that quickly climbed to 100,000 copies for the French-language edition. This is somewhat normal in the sense that the occupiers very quickly thought it was good to entertain people to allow them to escape, to think about something else. The Tintin albums of that period are timeless. How can one give an age to The Shooting Star, to The Secret of the Unicorn, or to Red Rackham's Treasure, to The Seven Crystal Balls? Published in Portugal, Hergé had asked to be paid in kind, in food, fruit, fresh produce. During the war period he sold 600,000 albums and never lacked for anything. Apart from that Hergé's life is empty, totally devoid of interest. The author has totally devoured his human host. Their social and even downright human myopia exceeds the imagination. They are people who never call anyone, never help anyone, never ask after anyone, waiting for others to care about them, to sing their praises, like the conceited man in The Little Prince. They are scientists with encyclopedic knowledge, but who shrug their shoulders at remarks they deem catastrophist, consume thousands of hours of mindless, infantile series, living completely withdrawn into themselves, lost in the maze of their lush and colorful scientific thought. I n Belgium, Hergé is deified. They are preparing to celebrate the centenary of his birth. His (excellent) drawings adorn the walls of subway stations. He has his museum. It seems that his work has been the subject of an endless list of doctoral theses of all kinds. Let's not exaggerate. It is not Balzac after all. There are others too: Morris ( Luky Luke ), Franquin ( Spirou ), the Charlier-Giraud tandem ( Bluberry ), the astonishing scripts of the Largo Winch series, even if its heroines look a bit like Barbie dolls. I believe that the comic strip work that rises to the level of a literary and historical work ( incredibly documented on every level ) is for me the Passagers du vent series, by Bourgeon. Apart from that, let's stay calm.
In the thirties Maurice Chevalier, I believe, had a hit song in his repertoire:

Everyone doesn't give a damn, a damn, a damn About the little miseries Of their neighbor downstairs

On the planet people have very different lives. Here we stuff ourselves, we buy 35-meter yachts ( now mass-produced ), we extend our grip, we throw lavish parties. Today's Chinese either survive on the crumbs of the country's expansion, or live Without Faith or Law . Elsewhere people agonize in indifference. On this front, we no longer know where to turn our pen. Yesterday I came across a video explaining that the expansion of transgenic soy cultivation in Argentina, replacing cattle farming, had led to serious health problems, a multitude of cancers and ailments of all kinds for all the people living near these crops, abundantly sprayed with insecticides, often banned, by planes. The complaints remain unanswered. I think back to Koutchner, our minister, praising GMOs as the answer to the problem of world hunger. What a magnificent judgment! GMOs guarantee increased profits for large landowners, and plunge small farmers into misery, create disasters in terms of the environment and health. For Koutchner, founder of Médecins du Monde, is it compromise, blindness or... stupidity? Or all three at once, perhaps.

Why does the Argentine government favor this soy production, intended for animal feed, for export? Because it can levy 20% taxes in passing and thus fight against the country's fabulous indebtedness. The spiral ....

Whichever way you turn, the word that comes to mind is

Imbalance

Our world does not converge toward a state of equilibrium. It does the exact opposite, it is the ship of fools and everyone is joining in. We know now, with hindsight, that at the time of the first Gulf War Saddam Hussein was far from having the technical means to create an atomic bomb. But why had this blustering imbecile brandished in front of the cameras explosive elements allowing the detonation of a hollow sphere of plutonium?

Going further back, think of the rodomontades of that imbecile Nasser, the Egyptian Raïs with velvet eyes, fancying himself a modern Saladin, showing off his tanks, his planes, his cannons, only to finally impose an embargo on Israel's sole access point to the sea. Nasser deliberately provoked the Six-Day War, in which his army was defeated as no army in the world had ever been, his soldiers even having taken off their shoes the better to run ....

Saddam had provided the Americans and the coalition with every possible pretext for triggering that first Gulf War. For the second, and before that to trigger an operation in Afghanistan, a pretext was needed: the "attacks" of September 11. The conquest of Iraq was swiftly carried out, Saddam captured, later hanged in general indifference.

  • We got him, said Bush ( we got him! )

And after?

After, the conflict cheerfully bogged down. The Iraqi military arsenal having been scattered across the country and the soldiers, Saddam's officers having been rejected, provided solid leadership for a highly organized guerrilla. Daily, anti-American Iraqis blow up American vehicles and tanks using homemade mines, buried under the asphalt of boulevards, the dust of alleys, the country roads, detonated remotely by simple ... cell phones. Of course, the American war industry, in fact the mainstay of the country's economy, is running at full capacity. But apart from that? Impossible to increase oil production in Iraq: it is too easy to blow up pipelines daily and perpetrate attacks in the refineries. Therefore impossible to control the price of oil as desired, to be able to exert pressure on OPEC, on the markets. A majority of Americans know that this war is now nothing but a bloody quagmire, as Vietnam once was. So what did the American leaders have in mind? A mixture of corruption, greed ( think of the profits made by Dick Cheney, through the company Halliburton, a major supplier of the Yankee logistics in Iraq ), of putting themselves at the service of the powers of money, of blindness and unfathomable stupidity. Condolezza Rice, covered in diplomas, does not know that she is nothing but a complete idiot, full of complexes, hungry for power.

statue_liberte

Rumsfeld, too compromised, was dropped, like a fuse. We no longer hear about him.

Dick Powell has also disappeared from circulation after showing in front of the cameras the photos taken from a satellite proving that the Iraqis were actively preparing weapons of mass destruction. Health reasons, they say. Did he believe his own sentences at the time? Did he content himself with producing what was handed to him, plus the text that went with it? Who pulled the strings of this gigantic swindle?

Now the planet holds its breath. What is going to happen?

The Iranian president has multiplied provocations against Israel " destined to be wiped off the map" . He will not give in to international pressure wishing to thwart his "civil nuclear" projects, as if that word had any meaning. For those who don't know, the explosive in A-bombs is essentially plutonium 239, which does not exist in nature. It is made by bombarding uranium 238, non-fissile, with fast neutrons. So 238 + 1 = 239 and Bob's your uncle.

What is a "plutonigenic" reactor? It is a reactor where the "neutron gas temperature" is allowed to rise, just as pressure is raised in a boiler. Download (for free) "Energétiquement vôtre" at:

http://www.savoir-sans-frontieres.com/JPP/telechargeables/Francais/energetiquement_votre.htm

and go and look at pages 24, 25 and 29

Any country acquiring "civilian" reactors can see its electro-nuclear activity fairly quickly acquire a military branch. That is no secret to anyone. Iran's entry into the club of the Joyful Artificers is therefore one more destabilizing factor, especially since, instead of calming the game with regard to the state of Israel, the new president revives the old demons, a hatred several millennia old, engraved in the Bible page after page.

Amalek will be our enemy from age to age. His hand will be against all and the hand of all will be against him

There has also always been, within the Arab countries, the dream of seeing a warrior, at the head of one of the states, take up the torch of pan-Arabism. This was the case in Nasser's time, and hatred of the Jew then plays a (momentarily) unifying role. Just before the Six-Day War, Jordan had placed its troops under the sole command of Egypt. But this system did not have time to prove itself, as Tsahal immediately asserted its strategic and tactical superiority on all terrains. In the rodomontades of the Iranian leader there perhaps resurfaces this old naive dream of being a Nasser, or a Saddam-bis. Unfortunately the potential enemy is not Israel but outright the United States. There, he defies the monster. A dangerous game whose goal consists in making Iran the emblematic figure of the Muslim world, united against the hereditary enemy: Israel. There are undeniable points of history that many readers very probably ignore.

So go and consult the archives of history

Sort it out. It is not about urging you to be pro-this and anti-that, but know that there exist undeniable historical facts that cannot be passed over in silence.

An attack against a Shia mosque in Baghdad immediately set the two Muslim communities, Shia and Sunni, against each other, in a climate of civil war. It was never known exactly who had planted that bomb. Some murmur that the Mossad might not be a stranger to this attack.

A reader writes to me:

*- The solution is to give Israel a solid anti-missile shield. *

Hmm....can its effectiveness be guaranteed? The normalization of Iran's nuclear equipment is hardly possible. All of this is explosive in the long term. What can be feared is "a second September 11", for example with European targets and operations carefully orchestrated to make people believe in attacks by Islamist extremists (or by manipulating extremists, which is also possible). Attacks with a "dirty bomb", or bacteriological ones, for example. While hoping at the same time to re-form a unity within "the Western bloc". The most diverse rumors circulate on the net. Some believe at times that they have hot and credible information. Often it revolves around the imminence of an Israeli raid against Iran, which does not take place. A few months earlier others predicted a monetary earthquake after the opening of an oil exchange in Tehran. That did not happen either, apparently because the Russians had opened something similar.

Let us stay with the factual. The important event of these last weeks is the colloquium where 150 specialists in controlled demolitions spoke formally with regard to the collapse of the twin towers and of building number 7. The second huge fact is this "oversight" by the official inquiry commission, in its investigations and in its report.

*- Building number 7 which collapsed seven or eight hours after the attack? Oh yes, but you know, we had a fairly limited time. We preferred not to scatter ourselves and to concentrate on the attack against the Twin Towers. *

There is a crusty character, Larry Silverstein, the billionaire who had bought the towers before the attacks for 15 million dollars, damn far-sighted. You may know that he had taken out a quite comfortable insurance policy in case of a terrorist attack, against the WTC. Then he modified the contract so as not to receive a single envelope in case one attack would be perpetrated against the two towers. Two towers, therefore two attacks, you understand? Therefore two premiums in case of an attack by terrorists against the two towers.

Normal....

When it happened, he subsequently received 7 billion dollars. Ah... building number seven belonged to him too. By Jove, if that guy was not aware of what was being plotted, I'll eat my hat.

Why do the Western presses keep silent with regard to the events of September 11? Why this consensus of silence? Perhaps because the rise to power of Islam frightens many countries. If the truth about these events of September 11 burst into the open, the United States would find itself considerably destabilized. This destabilization would spread to the whole "Western bloc", on every level. Could the country recover from such a shock, which would totally shake the trust that the other nations placed in it? We do not know. For some countries the USA remains "the cop of the world", the one "who does the dirty work when necessary". What work? Do the countries concerned know it?

chiites_sunites

In the world, power struggles are playing out. Islam de facto operates a demographic infiltration. Oil remains its favorite weapon of war. Logistics struggle to keep up, because the Arabs have never been great technicians, except twelve centuries ago. The Arab countries buy their technology and their technicians. China, on the other hand, is rising in power with a discreet smile, building a fantastic autonomy for itself, on an ungrateful land. It swallows Western techno-sciences with ease, teems with well-trained engineers and technicians, imaginative and above all extraordinarily combative, nationalist and revanchist. It is already at war with the rest of the world, on the economic level. It is a war without deaths, but for that very reason very effective. Wars are economic, anyway. The Soviet empire lost an economic war, waged against the United States, tank against tank, nuclear submarine against nuclear submarine, missile against missile. This escalation bled the Empire white, led to a serious economic crisis and caused its breakup. China, for its part, keeps a low profile, does not put out grand speeches of foreign policy. In Africa it does not seek to "implant Maoism". The Chinese who land there have no khaki jackets and Mao caps stamped with the red star, nor little red books in hand. The Chinese do not meddle in local politics, deal with everyone with a carefully concealed contempt. Heads of state or civil servants do not have to use periphrases to provide the number of their Swiss account. With regard to markets, the Chinese slash prices until they carry the day. They have the means: their production and wage costs are low. It is an unstoppable strike force. The only country that could stand up to China on this terrain would be ... another China. Currently the Chinese are placing helicopters that are clones of Eurocopter's Gazelle and Dauphin in South America. It has the means to invade the entire Earth and the capacity to attack on all markets, on all terrains.

Strange geopolitics, with its rises in power, its monetary fragilities, its blackmails and perhaps also a not insignificant share of absurdities. One searches endlessly for a meaning in history, but it is possible that we have it all wrong, that history does ... anything, as in my comic book Joyeuse Apocalypse. That is moreover what is worrying. The war of 14-18 was useless, except ... for the arms manufacturers, for whom it was a source of fantastic profits. Apart from that, the losses in men, the destruction of buildings and means of production were immense. What benefit, apart from advances in war technologies, in aeronautics, in submarine technology?

Wars, fantastic revivals of "war economies", also resemble immense psychodramas, ritual games. One ends up wondering whether they are not, in a hidden form, the extension of the human sacrifices of prehistory. War resembles an outlet, for lack of being able to resolve tensions otherwise. Before the war of 14-18 observers said "both camps are burning to fight it out". On both sides mustachioed horsemen paraded before the ladies. Men were intoxicated with patriotic songs. In the days of the wars of religion it was faiths that clashed. Faiths in different gods or different faiths, turned toward the same god, the height of absurdity.

Nowadays the pure and hard Islamists dream of seizing the world through terror, because they very sincerely think that Sharia would solve all the problems of humanity, sunk in its vices. The hands of thieves will be cut off, adulterous women will be stoned, homosexuals will be hanged and all will be for the best in the best of possible planets. The emirs, through the window of their Rolls-Royces, will be able to give alms by dropping a one-dollar bill from time to time and squander petrodollars in Monaco. That being said, I would like someone to explain to me how the former president Ayatollah Rafsanjani, a disciple of Khomeini, former Iranian president, managed to be, at the time when a little guardian of the revolution took his place, one of the biggest fortunes in Iran, after having run the country for eight years.. I believe that between him and Abbé Pierre, there was a certain ... gap.

The United States is drunk on technologies. Its stealth aircraft crisscross the planet. In the Sandia laboratories engineers in violent death test gadgets that resemble what "Pew" ritually showed James Bond at the start of each film. Explosive shoe, time-delay watch, poisoned fountain pen. And there is everything that is hidden. Hypersonic aircraft, which are described to us as long-term projects (the X-43A), hyper-fast submarines, ray weapons, electromagnetic weapons, paralyzing, carcinogenic, thermobaric weapons, meteorological weapons. The Russians are not to be outdone, pioneers in the field of seismic weapons since the early eighties.

Isn't it tempting to try all that, for real? It feels like being in a schoolyard, when nasty kids fight to find out who will be the strongest. At the same time men are messing up their planet, which is starting to get fed up with this cumbersome and temporary parasite, who thinks he is the master of all things.

A real awakening: when? how?

I have always thought that the worst as well as the best could come from the United States, country of all extremes. There, men and women fight courageously for the Truth with a capital T.

Result of the American poll conducted by the Zogby agency, published on September 6, 2007 - 51% of Americans want the Bush/Cheney tandem to be investigated before Congress regarding the events of September 11, 2001. - 30% are in favor of the immediate implementation of the Impeachment procedure (impeachment) - 67% think that the investigative commission failed in its duty by not studying the abnormal collapse of building number 7 of the World Trade Center. As America approaches the sixth anniversary of the events of September 11, 2001, which had worldwide repercussions, a new poll conducted by the Zogby International agency shows that a majority of Americans want President Bush and Vice President Cheney to be the subject of an investigation concerning their activities before, during and after the September 11 attack. More than 30% think that the House of Representatives should implement an impeachment procedure (Impeachment) concerning them. The poll, sponsored by the group 911truth.org, also highlighted that two thirds of Americans believed that the Commission should have conducted an investigation into the collapse of building number 7 of the World Trade Center. Building number 7 of the World Trade Center housed the bunker of the mayor of New York, offices of the SEC, the IRS (Internal Revenue Service: tax service), the CIA as well as the Secret Services. It was not hit by the planes and yet collapsed on itself nearly eight hours after the attack perpetrated against the Twin Towers. FEMA (translator's note: American equivalent of civil protection services) gave no explanation for this collapse. As for the Investigative Commission, it simply ignored this fact in its analysis and conclusions. An official study, supposedly to be done by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), has been awaited for two years. Janice Mattthews, director of the executive committee of the group 911truth.org, declares: - Regarding this building number 7 affair, the survey highlights a jump in the polls of 38 points of favorable opinion for the opening of an investigation, compared with the result of a poll conducted the previous year. This jump in the polls can be attributed to the fact that the public has recently been able to see on the video clips broadcast on Youtube, on the one hand the images of the collapse of the building, and on the other hand the pressing demand for the opening of an investigation, formulated by more than 150 architects and building professionals, and by the former head of the fire science division, the NISR, Dr James Quintiere. Another factor contributing to the increase in these polls relates to the responses of Hispanics, blacks and Asians, often twice as reactive as Whites. The analyst W. David Kubiak adds: - While only 32% of the people questioned come out in favor of an immediate impeachment of Bush and Cheney, on the basis of what they believe they know about them, the great majority of citizens ardently wish that the facts finally be known. There is public support for legislators such as the Republican Dennis Kucinich who have committed themselves by calling for a reopening of the September 11 file, without obtaining a response from the Commission concerned. We hope that the result of our survey will represent a sufficient stimulus for a response to be given to the public's expectations, concerning the doubtful taking into account of the facts that has been carried out so far. O'Conner and Donna, members of victims' families and advisers within the organization 911truth.org, note: - We are not at all surprised by the result of this ballot. More than half of the people questioned want the members of Congress, who are supposed to represent them, to react more than they have done so far. A quarter of the country thinks it knows enough about the Bush - Cheney tandem to demand their immediate impeachment. Does this not mean that people are looking for competent people who can rule on the credibility of key points? The lawyers of the group 911truth.org must be rigorous when they address Congress, in college campuses, in religious congregations, taking care not to invoke anything that cannot be proven. We must reach as many people as possible, including those who are allergic to polling techniques, statistics and computer tabulation. All of this must be presented without passion, stated without exerting pressure, so that these facts penetrate people's minds. They must know that the group 911tuth.org commissioned this poll from the Zogby institute and that the related costs were covered by individual donations. Groups like Visibility911.com and 911truth.org are centers that gather information, verify it so that the events of September 11 can be fully brought to light in the United States. These people have set themselves the task of conducting investigations and enlightening the public on the way our government distilled fear, prompted repressive actions and plunged the country into a war that will have no end. Our methodology: Everything is based on a survey conducted by the Zogby International institute between August 23 and 27, 2007. The survey covered one thousand people, to whom 71 questions were put. The people questioned were chosen randomly from the national file of telephone subscribers. Zogby's international surveys use sampling strategies in which the probabilities of selection are proportional to the population size in area codes and exchanges. Zogby's sampling methods are designed to provide a representative picture of the American population, taking into account population densities in the different regions. To try to reach any person selected in the list, no fewer than six telephone contact attempts were made each time. Cooperation rates are calculated using AAPOR methodological standards and are in every respect similar to what is practiced in other types of polls conducted by professionals in the specialty, within the public. In cases of non-response, account is taken of the region, political affiliation, color, religion as well as the sex of the person questioned. The margin of error is plus or minus 3 points. This is the overall margin of error. The margins are higher in subsamples of people polled.

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts is the former Under Secretary of the Treasury, from the time of the Reagan Administration. He is an economist and editorial writer for the Wall Street Journal and Business News. He also writes articles which, unable to get through in the American press, land in the last space of free expression: the net. Six years after September 11 he asks the question "who benefits from the crime?". He takes stock of the failures of the official investigation and of the qualifications of the challengers

September 11, Six Years Later - by Paul Craig Roberts In an article entitled 9-11, Six Years Later published on September 10, 2007 on the internet, Dr. Paul Craig Roberts , Under Secretary of the Treasury in the Reagan administration, economist and former editorial writer for the Wall Street Journal and Business News, denounces the media blockade surrounding the challenge to the official version of September 11. The mainstream media, as is their habit for six years, carefully avoid mentioning the citizens' movement for truth about September 11 which denounces the absurdities of the official version. Among the figures of this movement, Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, who has published numerous articles on the internet on the subject, articles never picked up by the mainstream media, both English-speaking and French-speaking. Media censorship seems to have reached the height of absurdity on September 11, 2007 , the day the French daily Le Monde published an article citing Dr. Paul Craig Roberts for his remarks on... the economy, without a word on those concerning September 11, 2001! In the following translation, carried out by me, of Dr. Roberts' article, hyperlinks have been added to facilitate the understanding of non-American readers. This translation may be reproduced on other sites. Enjoy your reading. SEPTEMBER 11, SIX YEARS LATER by Paul Craig Roberts On September 7, 2007, National Public Radio (NPR) [ a national semi-publicly funded radio station listened to by 26 million Americans, ed. ] announced that Muslims in the Middle East were beginning to believe that the attacks of September 11, 2001 on the World Trade Center (WTC) and the Pentagon were in fact false flag operations committed by certain parts of the American and/or Israeli government. That such beliefs could have a basis in truth was beyond the comprehension of the NPR journalist and producer. These beliefs were attributed to the influence of books by American and European authors on sale in Egyptian bookstores. NPR was worried that these books questioning the origin of the September 11 attacks might have the harmful result of absolving Muslims of guilt. The NPR journalist, Ursula Lindsey, declared that "here in the United States, most people have little doubt about what happened during the 2001 attacks." NPR, in assuming that the official version of September 11 was the last word, was very poorly informed. Polls indeed indicate that 36% of Americans, and more than 50% of New Yorkers, do not trust the official commission report on September 11. Likewise, many families of September 11 victims consider the official version unsatisfactory. Why are the American media not troubled by the fact that there was no independent investigation of September 11? Why are the media so little concerned by the fact that the rules governing the preservation of material evidence at a crime scene were not respected by the federal authorities? Why do the media systematically label those who doubt the official version as "conspiracy theorists" or "cranks"? What is wrong with debating and hearing the arguments for and against on an event of such importance for our era? If the official line is so correct and so defensible, what does it have to fear from skeptics? Obviously, a lot, when one sees the iron curtain erected to protect this official line from independent examination. Some may think that the commission report on September 11 was an independent investigation, and others will protest that we have the analysis of the National Institute of Standards and Technonology [ NIST in the rest of the article, ed. ] which explains the collapse of the World Trade Center twin towers by the combined effect of the impact of the planes and the fire that followed. The September 11 commission was a political commission led by Philip Zelikow , a close associate of the Bush administration. NIST is an agency of the United States Department of Commerce, at the head of which sits a member of Bush's presidential cabinet. Zelikow was a member of the committee advising President Bush on foreign intelligence , a stronghold of the neoconservatives. In February 2005, Zelikow was appointed adviser to the United States Department of State. Obviously, there was no chance that the September 11 commission would hold part of the Bush administration responsible for the numerous failures of government agencies on September 11, and even less that the commission would consider complicity. If one compares the degrees and skills of the skeptics to those of the supporters of the official version, it is impossible to dismiss the former with a wave of the hand by calling them "cranks." There are certainly many people with unbridled imagination on the internet, but serious skeptics stick to established facts, proven violations of standard procedures and the laws of physics. The vast majority of people who call skeptics "cranks" are themselves ignorant of physics and have little understanding of the improbability that such an attack could have succeeded without the complicity or total failure of government agencies. Over the past six years, many respected figures have come to swell the ranks of skeptics challenging the official September 11 scenario. These ranks include eminent scientists , engineers and architects , intelligence agents , air traffic controllers, generals and high-ranking military officers including General [ major general Albert Stubblebine , ed. ] formerly head of the " United States Army Intelligence and Security Command ", former senior officials and members of the White House under various Republican governments, military pilots and seasoned airline pilots who claim that they themselves would have been incapable of carrying out the aerial maneuvers attributed to the hijackers on September 11, and finally foreign dignitaries . Dr. Andreas von Bülow , former German Minister of Research and Technology and former Secretary of State for Defense, declared: "The planning of the attacks was a masterpiece of technique and organization. Hijacking four airliners in a few minutes and guiding them in less than an hour to their target after executing complicated aerial maneuvers! It is unthinkable without the support over several years of the secret apparatus of the State and of industry." General Leonid Ivashov , chief of staff of the Russian armed forces [ at the time of the September 11 attacks, ed. ] for his part declared: "Only the secret services and their current or retired chiefs - but who have retained influence within state structures - are capable of planning, organizing and managing an operation of such magnitude. ...Osama bin Laden and "al Qaeda" can be neither the organizers nor the executors of the September 11 attacks. They possess neither the organization required for that nor the intellectual resources nor the necessary cadres." Americans could recognize that it is unusual that American airport security checks failed four times in a few minutes, that the air defense of the United States totally failed to intercept the hijacked planes and that hijackers who were poor pilots succeeded in exotic aerial maneuvers that even seasoned fighter pilots declare themselves incapable of accomplishing. Admittedly, there remains the possibility, however improbable, that Allah endowed the hijackers with incredible luck. On the other hand, for the collapse of the World Trade Center twin towers, the official version has no chance of being true. Architects, engineers and physicists know that buildings supported by a powerful steel frame do not suddenly collapse at the speed of free fall, or near free fall, simply because a plane struck them and they were subjected to limited fires of short duration and low intensity. Physicists also know that there was not enough gravitational energy to pulverize the enormous quantities of concrete into fine dust, to shear the steel columns into sections just the right length to be loaded and evacuated on trucks, and to eject horizontally dust and steel beams hundreds of meters away. Physicists also know that if there really had been intense fires everywhere in the towers to the point of weakening the steel and causing their sudden collapse, these fires would not have left the hundreds of thousands of pieces of paper unburned, not even blackened, that floated everywhere above Manhattan. Physicists have asked why the official explanation neglected the established laws of physics, but they have still not received an answer. Recently, Dr. Crockett Grabbe , a researcher in applied physics at the University of Iowa and a Caltech graduate, made the following observations: "By applying two basic principles, the conservation of energy and the conservation of momentum, the government's explanation quickly falls apart. NIST has visibly ignored these principles in its reports. NIST also ignored the observed twisting of the upper 34 floors of the South Tower before it collapsed. This twisting clearly violates both the conservation of momentum and the conservation of angular momentum, unless this twisting was caused by a violent external force. Where then did the enormous quantities of energy necessary to cause the total collapse of the still intact lower parts of each of the towers come from? NIST's voluminous studies do not answer this question." NIST's reports are even contested by its own scientists. Dr. James Quintiere , former head of the fire science division at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, recently declared that "the official conclusion that NIST arrived at is doubtful," and he called for the opening of an independent reexamination of NIST's investigation of the collapses of the World Trade Center towers. Dr. Quintiere drew attention to numerous problems with NIST's investigation and its reports: the absence of a detailed chronology of events, the inability to explain the collapse of WTC7 [World Trade Center building 7, a 47-story building that collapsed on itself at near free-fall speed seven hours after the twin towers, ed.], the destruction of material evidence at the crime scene, the use of doubtful computer models, the absence of the slightest evidence of the existence of the temperatures that according to NIST were necessary to cause a failure of the steel, and finally the legal structure of the Department of Commerce which, instead of contributing to the search for facts, "did the opposite and blocked everything." On August 27, 2007, an eminent member of the United States National Academy of Sciences, awarded the National Medal of Science, Dr. Lynn Margulis , rejected the official version of September 11, calling it a "fraud" and called for a new complete and impartial investigation. On September 5, 2007, the American naval aviation ace and seasoned airline pilot, Ralph Kolstad , declared that the aerial maneuvers attributed to the hijackers exceeded his own piloting abilities."Something stinks all the way up to the upper spheres of heaven," declared Kolstad. Faced with unusual events, the Romans asked the question "Cui bono?" Who benefits from the crime? This question was the great absentee of the official investigation. Who then are the beneficiaries of September 11? Answer: the military-industrial complex, which accumulated tens of billions of dollars in profits; the oil companies, which hope to get their hands on Iraqi, and perhaps Iranian, oil; the Republican Party, which saved a president, George W. Bush, freshly elected and vulnerable, considered by many to have been illegally elected by a majority vote at the Supreme Court, by making him a "wartime president" draped in the star-spangled banner; the Republican Federalist Society, which used September 11 to achieve its goal of concentrating power within the executive; Vice President Dick Cheney and the neoconservatives, who used the "new Pearl Harbour" to implement their "Project for a New American Century" and to extend American hegemony over the Middle East; and finally the right-wing Israeli Zionists, who successfully used American blood and money to eliminate obstacles to Israeli territorial expansion. Beyond the victims among American troops and among the Iraqi and Afghan civilian populations, the neoconservatives' "war on terror" has made another victim: the civil liberties that protect Americans from tyranny. President Bush and his corrupt Department of Justice (sic) have declared that our constitutional protections are null and void at the discretion of the executive. The greatest beneficiaries of September 11 are the authoritarian figures who, according to John Dean [who was the first member of the Republican administration to testify against Nixon in the Watergate scandal, ed.], have taken control of the Republican Party

On August 27, 2007, an eminent member of the United States National Academy of Sciences, awarded the National Medal of Science, Dr.
The article published by the newspaper Le Monde, precisely on September 11, 2007, under the pen of Eric Leser, focused on the following sentence by Paul Craig Roberts. An article, "journalistically correct," that could have been titled: On September 11, 2001, strictly nothing happened. "If this continues, the American economy will be that of a third-world nation, supplying raw materials and importing manufactured goods." The reflection is by the economist Paul Craig Roberts, a former member of the Reagan administration. The prognosis is undoubtedly exaggerated, but it is based on a reality described by Yvonne Smith, the communications manager of the port of Long Beach, California: "We export cotton to China and import textiles, we send them hides and receive shoes, we ship metal waste and buy machines, and we export old newspapers that come back to us as packaging for other products." Parliamentarians, trade unionists, and leaders of industrial groups are alarmed by this in the United States. They accuse Beijing, pell-mell, of artificially maintaining the weakness of its currency to boost its competitiveness; of not complying with quality and safety standards for its products; of flouting intellectual property and, more generally, the rules of international trade. The US trade deficit with China keeps growing. It reached a record level of 233 billion dollars in 2006. The gap is such that, according to the bank J. P. Morgan, American exports to China must increase at least twice as fast as imports for the deficit to remain constant! The only American sales to China that are exploding are those... of waste. So much so that in 2006, at 6.7 billion dollars, they represented the second most surplus sector of trade with that country. Only aeronautics did better. American exports of used paper to China went from 348,000 tons in 1994 to 9.1 million tons in 2006, and those of iron and steel waste, notably from car wrecks, from 166,000 tons in 1998 to 2 million tons. The progression is even more spectacular for plastic waste and that from electronic and computer products. It is at once a worrying symptom of the decline of American industry and good macroeconomic news. Some of the containers arriving in American ports no longer leave empty, and this limits the extent of the trade deficit accordingly. Recycling is a relatively new activity in the United States, which has already created 50,000 jobs. It finally helps to better protect the environment. The quantity of recycled paper in the United States went from 32% in 1990 to 53.4% in 2006. Companies in the sector are now coming to recover materials from landfills abandoned for decades. *Sometimes, in speeches, what is most important are the silences. Don't you find? *

October 1, 2007. For the first time, the official press (the newspaper Les Echos) publishes an article that expresses the doubt of certain journalists, echoing the work of economists, about the events of September 11, 2001.

It is known that the stock exchange commission recorded a few days before the "attack" an exceptional placing on the market of shares of the airline company American Airlines (to which the planes held responsible for the crashes were supposed to belong), which represents a bearish speculation. The holders of these shares, if they knew that the event that was going to occur in the following days was to cause a collapse in the share price, had every interest in getting rid of them as quickly as possible, even at the cost of buying back those same shares after the events, when their price had fallen. The diagram below shows the entirely singular nature of this stock market flow.

The shares of the company American Airlines fell by 40% immediately after the events of September 11, 2001

The article by Marina Alcaraz echoes the troubling conclusions of a recent study by Marc Chesney and Loriano Mancini, professors at the University of Zurich. For them, insider trading is extremely probable. But the American Stock Exchange Commission simply concluded "that these people had benefited from analysts' advice."

Marc Chesney, former professor at HEC, author of "Blanchiment et financement du terrorisme" (Ellipses editions) indicates for example that1,535 contractsof put options maturing October 2001, at 30 dollars, were traded on American Airlineson September 10,the day before the "attack"against a daily average of about24 contracts over the three preceding weeks.»The fact that the market was bearish at the time"does not sufficiently explain these surprising volumes."
