Hello. You are partly right. One must be cautious, but also realistic. I merely relayed Eric Laurent’s remarks regarding the figure of 76. Here is the article and source for the number 76.

A partial list of 390 Cantor Fitzgerald employees who died (out of 658 in the company) lists 49 Jewish memorial services, which is between 12 percent and 13 percent.

The following partial list of 76 Jewish World Trade Center victims includes many from companies located at or above where the planes hit. These include Cantor Fitzgerald, which lost 658 employees, Marsh & McLennan, which lost 295 employees, Aon Corporation, which lost 176 employees, and others.

There is also another list of 49, some of whom are duplicates from the list of 76. For the rest, no reliable or tangible list exists.

The 25% figure comes from Wikipedia, whose English version is more precise than the French one and specifies that it refers to New York City rather than the metropolitan area.

The demographics of New York City are evidence of a uniquely large and ethnically diverse metropolis. It is the largest city in the United States with a population defined by a long history of international immigration. New York City is home to more than 8 million people, accounting for about 40% of the population of New York State and a similar percentage of the New York metropolitan area, home to about 20 million.

The New York metropolitan area is home to the largest Jewish population in the world outside Israel. New York City's Jewish population in 2001 was approximately 1.97 million, 1.4 million more than in Jerusalem but 600,000 fewer than in Israel's largest metropolitan area, denoted as Gush Dan. In conclusion, to eliminate any ambiguity, using the 12% figure, it would be best to ensure transparency and provide a complete list of Jewish World Trade Center victims. I don’t believe this would be an insurmountable task or an offense to the memory of the victims.

Yes, this suspicion is heavy. But all hypotheses must be considered when they involve the primary beneficiaries of the attacks—namely American neoconservatives and Israeli and American far-right Zionists. Both countries have a long history of operations conducted under false flags. Earlier, General Lyman Lemnitzer’s (1899–1988) 1962 plan titled "Operation Northwoods," if approved by Kennedy, would have allowed the U.S. to invade Cuba based on attacks carried out by Americans themselves against their own troops and citizens. In particular, it was planned that American intelligence operatives, disguised as Cubans, would fire mortars at U.S. forces stationed at Guantánamo, in the south of the island. The measures proposed by General Lemnitzer defy imagination—anything seemed justified to achieve their goals.

Read this text. Your arms drop. But let’s not forget that just one year earlier, these same Americans had orchestrated the Bay of Pigs invasion (which I have personally visited). The American plan was to simulate an internal uprising by anti-Castro forces. In reality, it involved commandos composed of Cuban exiles trained and armed by the U.S., transferred to Nicaragua, from where they launched their attack, aiming to establish a beachhead by splitting the island in two.

The operation began with a raid launched from Nicaragua, south of Cuba, by American pilots flying B26s repainted in Cuban colors. They attacked bases near Havana and Santiago (in the south of the island). The goal was to immediately seize control of Cuban airspace. Around the island, numerous U.S. cargo ships and warships were stationed nearby, ready to support "this popular anti-Castro uprising."


In this surprise attack, most Cuban civil and military aircraft were immediately destroyed on the ground, with many killed in bombings and machine-gun fire. The repainting of the planes in Cuban colors was intended to make it appear that these planes had taken off from Cuban bases and were piloted by hostile military personnel. I believe it’s important to provide some images and data so readers can grasp the scale of this unprovoked aerial assault. The new Cuban state posed no threat to U.S. security. Yet this affair led the Cubans to request Soviet protection, which was provided in the form of missile batteries shipped by boat—triggering the famous crisis that nearly sparked World War III. Some might ask, "Why did the Soviets install missiles right under American noses?" It was a response to the Bay of Pigs incident. Later, an agreement was reached where the U.S. pledged not to conduct such operations against Cuba again. But in the meantime, the CIA had already proposed a "Bay of Pigs II" in the form of Project Northwoods.

Returning to the American attack: According to clarifications provided by a reader, these B26s were not the famous World War II B26 Marauders:

I remember seeing one of these twin-engine, radial-engined aircraft when I was a child, flown by American pilots who swept over the beach at La Baule at very low altitude immediately after the war. Imagine an aircraft flying at 450 km/h, carrying two tons of bombs, equipped with six fixed 12.7 mm machine guns firing forward, and two more mobile ones operated from a rear turret.

Bomb capacity: 1.8 tons in the bomb bay, plus 900 kg under the wings. The aircraft could also carry 8 rockets of 127 mm caliber or 16 rockets of 76 mm. It could be equipped with twelve 12.7 mm machine guns! A veritable deluge of fire. These aircraft were specialized in low-altitude, high-speed bombing. They were used to douse areas with napalm (particularly during the Sakiet Sidi Youssef massacre, where French B26s dumped their deadly fuel on a Tunisian market, a school, and a Red Cross shelter).

Following such attacks, the Cubans' ability to respond was completely annihilated after the bombing and machine-gunning of the island’s two main bases. Then, commandos composed of Cuban exiles (and mercenaries recruited by the CIA), brought from Florida, arrived at the Bay of Pigs in light, fast boats—sorts of landing craft—whose remains I have seen on the island. 1,400 men were landed in the south of the island to prevent international opinion from suspecting that the maritime attack had originated from Florida.

Castro responded by calling on Cubans to defend their revolution. We must remember that before Castro, a former lawyer, seized power on the island (in 1958, leading a thousand guerrillas but with broad popular support), the island was "America’s brothel," a complete stronghold of the American mafia, which could operate openly without shame. The country, under President General Batista and a military junta loyal to the U.S., was nothing but a succession of brothels and gambling houses.

The island’s population reacted en masse, confronting the mercenaries with whatever weapons they could find. Some even arrived at the landing sites with simple pitchforks. There were certainly clashes and casualties: 170 Cubans and about 100 mercenaries died. But confronted by a massive wave of people converging from all directions of the island, the mercenaries quickly surrendered after just a few days, realizing they could never overcome such a human tide, even if poorly armed. The fact that all Cuban aircraft had not been destroyed on the ground prevented the Americans from providing air support to the mercenaries.

The events were quickly brought onto the international stage. The U.S. could not "rescue the Cuban counter-revolutionaries" by launching a landing operation or a ground attack from its base at Guantánamo, located in the southeast of the island.

This American aggression severely damaged the U.S. reputation internationally. Instead of executing the captured mercenaries and Cuban exiles (nicknamed by Cubans "guzanos," or earthworms), Castro exploited the event for media purposes, selling them back to the U.S. in exchange for... their weight in medicine. A scale was set up on the dock at Havana to ensure that the pharmaceuticals delivered matched the weight of each released mercenary.

After such a failure, Kennedy refused to approve Operation Northwoods a year later and dismissed General Lemnitzer.

Note that he was assassinated in November 1963, exactly one year later.

Such plans are by no means exceptions. They are rather the rule. All countries in the world operate this way, and have always done so throughout history. As for the Soviets, consider the Nazi-Soviet Pact with its secret protocol for dividing Poland. No country is innocent in this realpolitik.

Now, in light of investigative journalist Eric Laurent’s statements, let us examine the stakes regarding the events of September 11, 2001. On the American side, the stakes are clear. At the dawn of the third millennium, Russia had not yet recovered from the collapse of the USSR. The United States stands as the world’s foremost military power. The temptation to become global master is strong—even at the cost of turning the country into a militarized state.

This terrorism must be provoked, sustained, and if necessary, fabricated from scratch. This is exactly what happened in Algeria during the years of lead, when military leaders, who effectively held power, manufactured an Islamist terrorism by manipulating a small number of disturbed individuals. This gave rise to the GIA (Armed Islamic Group). Recently, it was discovered that the monks of Tibhirine may not have been killed by terrorist weapons, but by larger-caliber weapons—only military forces possess such arms, deployed from their combat helicopters. That is why the monks’ coffins contained only... severed heads, which is not typical of Islamist terrorists. Autopsies must not reveal impacts from large-caliber projectiles.

The situation for Israelis in the Middle East is insoluble. The creation of the State of Israel was an act of force. If you look at the dossier "The Land of Suffering and Hate," you’ll see that Itzhak Shamir, one of the leaders of the Stern Gang terrorist group who later became Prime Minister, orchestrated the assassination of Count Folke Bernadotte, the UN mediator. By claiming Palestine, Jews invoke a property right dating back 1,700 years. Westerners argue that indigenous people were not consulted. That’s how it happened. Why settle for images? Let’s move to actions. Israel was the primary beneficiary of the events of September 11, 2001. Some analysts say, "The Mossad knew, but let it happen." Another, far more serious possibility exists: that these events were conceived and executed through close collaboration between American neoconservatives and agents from an extremist faction of the Mossad—which, let’s be honest, is at home in America like a fish in water. Many politicians and high-ranking officials hold dual nationality, and a reader could confirm this point and provide a list of very important figures.

Another significant fact I’ve known for years but had previously discarded out of frustration: Israelis possess major aircraft maintenance services in the U.S., both civilian and military. These are "private sanctuaries" where planes used in the attacks could have been prepared without any outside interference. Israelis acquired their first civilian and military aircraft by purchasing and repairing planes bought from every conceivable market.

Things are changing in many circles. A few weeks ago, I hosted Alix, president of reopen911, along with a young Eurocopter engineer. I asked him:

- In your company, what percentage of people seriously question the official version?

- If we exclude those over 60, whose age may bring some rigidity, I’d say: 50%

That’s enormous—and this figure reflects the work of this small group of people over the past four years.

On August 31, 2004, Zogby International, the North American polling institute for Reuters, published a survey showing that nearly half (49.3%) of New York City residents and 41% of New York State residents believed U.S. leaders had prior knowledge of the imminent September 11 attacks and "consciously failed" to act. Among New York City residents, 66% demanded a new review of unanswered questions by Congress or the New York Attorney General.

In light of these developments, we have gathered 100 American public figures and 40 family members of victims to sign this declaration, urgently calling public attention to unanswered questions suggesting that individuals within the current administration deliberately allowed September 11 to happen—possibly as a pretext for war.

We demand honest answers to questions such as:

1. Why were standard procedures for handling hijacked commercial flights not followed that day?
2. Why were missile batteries and air defense systems deployed around the Pentagon not activated during the attack?
3. Why did intelligence services allow President Bush to continue his school visit, seemingly unconcerned about his safety or that of the children?
4. Why has no one been fired, punished, or convicted for the total incompetence we witnessed that day?
5. Why have U.S. and foreign authorities not released results from multiple investigations into financial transactions suggesting prior knowledge of specific details about the September 11 attacks, which led to tens of millions in identified profits?
6. Why was Sibel Edmonds, a former FBI translator who claims she knew of the impending attacks, silenced by a judge appointed by Bush, at the request of Attorney General Ashcroft?
7. How did Flight 77, which hit the Pentagon, return toward Washington DC for 40 minutes without being detected by FAA radar or by the U.S. military’s even more powerful radars?
8. How were the FBI and CIA able to quickly release names and photos of the alleged terrorists, as well as visit homes, restaurants, and flight schools frequented by them?
9. What happened to the over 20 documented warnings transmitted to our government by 14 foreign intelligence agencies or heads of state?
10. Why did the Bush administration conceal that the head of Pakistan’s intelligence agency was in Washington the week of September 11 and had transferred $100,000 to Mohammed Atta, considered the leader of the hijackers?
11. Why did the 9/11 Commission not address most of the questions raised by victims’ families, let alone those posed here?
12. Why was Philip Zelikow chosen as executive director of the so-called independent 9/11 Commission, despite co-authoring a book with Condoleezza Rice?

Those demanding a deeper investigation now number in the hundreds of thousands—including a former member of the first Bush administration, a former Air Force colonel, a European parliamentarian, victims’ families, highly respected authors, investigative journalists, peace and justice advocates, former Pentagon officials, and members of the Green Party.

As conscious Americans, we demand four things:

1. Immediate investigation by New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer
2. Immediate congressional hearings
3. Media attention to examine and investigate the evidence
4. Formation of a truly independent commission composed of citizens

Given the importance of the upcoming election, we believe it is imperative that these questions be addressed publicly, honestly, and rigorously so that Americans can exercise their democratic rights with full awareness.

In conclusion, we pray and hope for the wisdom and compassion to confront this topic so that we may heal the wounds inflicted on that terrible day.
