The subtitle corresponds to a poor translation. The correct translation is "With regard to nuclear weapons..."
He continues by saying:
- I don't want to speculate "if I know is this" (whether or not this is the case).
And he quickly diverts the question by stating that if he believed an arms race were beginning in this unstable region, everyone would be in danger. He adds: "One of my goals is to combat nuclear proliferation in general. I think it's important for the United States, in coordination with Russia."
But Helen Thomas takes the microphone again and says:

Obama does not answer this question. Yet, there is no one in the world who doubts that Israel possesses nuclear weapons—this weapon was developed at a sensitive site, Dimona, in the Sinai. So sensitive that during the Six-Day War, a surface-to-air missile fired from this installation destroyed an Israeli fighter-bomber and killed its pilot, who had made a minor navigation error.

Obama could have answered:
- This question should be asked of every country in the Middle East, without exception, at the next session of the United Nations.
And Helen Thomas would have immediately responded:
- Including the State of Israel?
To which he could only answer affirmatively, saying "yes" or "all countries in the Middle East, without exception."
But Obama changes the subject and does not answer the question. He follows the dictate of the powerful Israeli lobby in the United States. The question of Israel possessing nuclear weapons must not be asked—neither here nor anywhere else. Especially not at the United Nations!
As for Helen Thomas, she will no longer appear at such press conferences, having asked "the question that should not be asked." To ask such a question at 90 years old requires being "senile," says the video. Obama had her "retired."
When you create online files, you open drawers. There are video files accessible quickly that trace the history of nuclear development in Israel. Everything is clear, known, established, proven, and shocking. In this development at Dimona, France, which installed a plutonium-producing reactor there, bears enormous responsibility. From the beginning, this site was focused on developing the atomic bomb for the Hebrew state. In fact, the development of Israel's nuclear weapon closely followed that of France's. And you hear Obama responding to Helen Thomas that "if by chance he heard about a nuclear arms race somewhere in the Middle East, he wouldn't remain inactive."

Don’t think he’s unaware of this. It’s just that in the United States, it has already been abundantly demonstrated that a president’s life is worth little. There is his life, that of his family, his children. In the U.S., it's easier to take risks when you know you have only a few years left to live (I just took a look at the conditions surrounding the assassination of Robert Kennedy, brother of John Kennedy. Did you know that the city of Jericho is one of the Palestinian cities razed by the Hebrews during their brilliant conquest of the Promised Land? I imagine journalist Elisabeth Lévy has never read a single line of the Old Testament. When I began studying it, before turning it into a 400-page comic book, I was astonished by the ignorance of these foundational texts within Jewish communities. Likewise, very few Christians know the contents of the Acts and Epistles of their New Testament. But it's the same in all religions. "Believers" know little or nothing about their sacred texts, and when they do read them, they interpret them through their own lens. Thus, in the Old Testament, which reader perceives the meaning of the expression "devoted to destruction," meaning for a city or community, condemned to genocidal extermination?
Today we realize that among our politicians, courage seems to emerge only at an advanced age. How old must one be to dare raise the real questions? What is happening in the United States is identical to what is happening in Europe—the two countries shaken by the brutal consequences of globalization. A reorganization, with a "Global Government," ardently desired by our beloved President, Nicolas Sarkozy, a desire that would be pursued by the small Strauss-Kahn, if he were to succeed him, creating an ever-widening gap between those wallowing in rivers of profit, especially importers, and citizens who are increasingly expected to pay for the bill of an incredibly scandalous financial mess.

The European Monetary Snake would no longer be there to support the rebellious country against a financial and monetary attack.

We are in debt, but to whom? For what? Debt used to be the affair of so-called developing countries, "poor nations." Countries that borrowed from the International Monetary Fund and could only borrow again just to pay interest. Economies too fragile to cover their deficit by printing money—a national currency that would immediately be devalued to the point of losing all value. The only solution was borrowing from the IMF.
Are we now caught in the same spiral? But why??? And why does debt "start" at zero in 1978? Before, we weren't in debt? The explanation lies in a law passed on January 3, 1973, concocted by Pompidou and Valéry Giscard d'Estaing, that false nobleman with carefully glued strands of hair on his head, who pretended to play the accordion and dine with ordinary people. If you want to understand a little about the initial problem of a country's currency, read my comic book The Economicon. When a country runs a deficit—and it always does—it spends more than its tax revenues allow. It compensates by issuing money (formerly by printing bills. But today electronic money has taken over, and this monetary creation happens with just a few keystrokes on a keyboard). This expansion of its money supply, using its own currency, devalues it. What is rare is expensive, and what ceases to be rare depreciates. Prices rise, but the currency's devaluation artificially lowers export prices and boosts exports, while simultaneously blocking imports. This currency depreciation also impoverishes workers, who are surprised to see their purchasing power decline even as their wages rise or remain stable. They are surprised to have to pay more and more for everything coming from abroad (starting with oil and basic goods).
This is the trick of King Numis, who thus creates "fake money" through this paper currency.
But with Giscard, France entered a much more perverse monetary and economic dynamic. The law in question banned the state from issuing its own money. One might think this was to control inflation, the tendency to pay everything with monkey money. But behind this remedy lay a disease few recognized. This "fresh money" is no longer created by the state, but borrowed from private banks, which thus perform monetary creation based on loans granted against non-existent deposits!
Thus, banks buy countries, economies, with wind, monkey money, "empty economic space," to use the expression from my comic book.
By issuing money, the state acted as if it were lending to itself at zero interest. This money simply diluted. Its origin was no longer sought. But thanks to this Giscard law, confirmed by Article 104 of the Maastricht Treaty, it is now all the banks of the world that own the countries. What happened in poor nations became the rule in former rich nations.
The Giscard law forbade France from creating its own francs. It had to borrow them from private banks (primarily Rothschild Bank), based on non-existent deposits. The Maastricht Treaty generalizes the fraud. European countries cannot create euros themselves but must borrow them from private banks, at interest. Otherwise, by increasing its money supply without interest, Europe could lend to itself at zero interest.
With this little game, since 1978 France has already accumulated 1,327 billion euros in interest (figure from 2008).
Take a look at "this great European" Giscard d'Estaing, and the various ministerial portfolios he held until his election as President of France. A similar trajectory for Pompidou, a pure product of the Rothschild Bank, where he worked from 1959 to 1958, then from 1959 to 1962 as... director, outright! This position as director of this private bank did not prevent him from presiding over the Constitutional Council, where the egghead also served.
You're looking for the " banksters "? But there they are! You've seen them for decades on your television screens. They've even quietly become Presidents of all French people.
As for the globalized economy, it serves only certain interests—short-term interests, voracious appetites based on outsourcing stemming from a remarkable underestimation of the Chinese ability to absorb the most sophisticated technologies.

The other two were more stereotypical: a man with a black beard as dark as ink, which almost consumed his face; a woman wearing an Islamic headscarf that nearly reached her ankles. But note this: she was one of the rare female researchers attending to present her work. Let us acknowledge this fairness toward Iranian Islamists. While in Yemen women are confined, in Iran, although women are subject to dress codes, their doors to schools and universities remain wide open.

Regarding this "social phenomenon" represented by ostentatious religious clothing, there’s an answer people rarely consider. Here it is:
It’s the "semi-full veil" with a mini-skirt, stiletto heels. Why not, perhaps, Dior tights and fishnet stockings? I’d love to see such a demonstration in a major Parisian avenue, with hundreds of women dressed this way. Would they be labeled "religious insults"?

Let me share another anecdote. During World War II, France was occupied and under the Vichy regime. General Pétain, senile and feeble-minded, the victor of Verdun, who had spent his entire career at the War College without ever firing a shot, had become the symbol of a nation saved from chaos. One day, the editor-in-chief of a major newspaper (&&& a reader will clarify which one) summoned a journalist to his office.
- My dear, we’re the laughingstock of all France.
- How so, sir?
- Look at the caption on the front-page photo!
- Yes... I don’t see it, sir...
- What? You don’t see it!? Read the caption you wrote, for heaven’s sake!
- Yes, sir. We see the Marshal sitting in his armchair, reading a newspaper. Next to him, his wife...
- But read it out loud, for God’s sake!
- I... I’m reading, sir. It says: "Marshal Pétain reads and the Maréchale Pétain sews." I... I don’t see it...
- What do you mean, you don’t see it? Do you know what the competition read, what all of France was gossiping about?

- Oh my God, sir! I didn’t realize...

But let’s return to this video interview with Helen Thomas. She was not only a member but also president of the group of journalists accredited to the White House. Here, in the Oval Office:
On the question of whether a Middle Eastern country possesses nuclear weapons, she clarifies that the President is not supposed to speculate—he is supposed to know. But for an American President, not only is the question inappropriate, but any investigation into it would be as well—and would face a categorical refusal from the State of Israel. Should the U.S. initiate such an inquiry, it would trigger a serious, unprecedented crisis between these two closely linked nations.
The journalist then asks Helen Thomas whether Obama’s election represented a real change regarding the Middle East and the policy pursued by his predecessor, George Bush. She replies that all previous presidents supported Israel.

When Ben-Gurion delivered his 1948 speech announcing the birth of the State of Israel in a unilateral decision, it was nighttime in the United States. President Truman did something extraordinary: he got up at 3 a.m. to declare that the U.S. recognized the new state—and thus forced the UN to accept the fait accompli.

Helen believes Obama has completely abandoned any idea of changing anything in the Middle East or Israel, and hasn’t even tried, preferring to focus on other concerns. She even says Obama would like to forget that the Middle East exists...
Final image
At the end of this recorded interview, Helen Thomas says that if she ever has the chance to face Obama again, she will ask him the same question: "Does a Middle Eastern state possess nuclear weapons?" But in contrast to the final image, the interviewer confirms that this journalist will never have the opportunity to ask that question again. Indeed, following her statements, her accreditation was simply and completely revoked.
So understand that American journalists accredited to the White House can meet the U.S. President—provided they refrain from asking bad questions.
