Below is a photo that I will reproduce several times on the site and which is the height of horror. There are many conflicts in the world. People talk about the dead. But this is also what comes out of these beautiful battles for freedom and democracy: beings destroyed, disfigured, disabled. President George Bush visited a center that takes care of the disabled from the war in Iraq. They are obviously numerous. The photo below, taken from a Belgian magazine, shows him next to a young soldier who has lost an arm and a leg. When you think that people like Bush, Cheney and so many others fill their pockets through these conflicts, whose main goal is profit, are we not facing here the depths of the human soul.
