One remembers the film that journalist Jacques Pradel had made, showing what was presented as the autopsy of a non-terrestrial creature, equipped in particular with six fingers on each hand and six toes. This film was completed by a presentation of objects "recovered from the wreckage of the vehicle". In this sequence, the hollow shapes of two hands with six fingers can be identified, which constitute a rather rational pressure control system. A "pilot", properly trained, could thus send commands to twelve digits, by pressing the fingers. A way to pilot a spacecraft like a man pressing chords on a piano keyboard.
