I don't know when this interview was recorded.&&& A reader will tell us. You will listen to this one (the first few seconds are a bit confusing. It's background noise). Then you will go and listen to the statements of the "Grand Reporter" Daniel Lecomte, presenting a report made for the series Dock en Stock, titled "All Manipulated" for the channel Arte (broadcast in April 2004). You will also hear the pitiful Pierre Lagrange, "sociologist," the very self-assured Philippe Val, editor-in-chief of the newspaper Charlie Hebdo, "left-wing intellectual," the Grand Reporter Gunther Latsch, from the German newspaper Der Spiegel, as well as Kaufer "intelligence expert," professor at Science Po and "journalist," who is also very well-informed. All conclude that information should be left to the ... professionals.
A lamentable farce, revealing the skills of those who are supposed to inform us.
It's time, three years later, to do a debriefing on this whole affair. In the show Dock en Stock, which Arte will put online somewhere, or will accept that this document be made accessible, including the debate, we hope, we will hear the head of information of the channel denounce Ardisson's attitude, who wanted to make "Infotainment," an anglicism cited by Daniel Lecomte, a mix of the words "Information" and "Entertainment" (entertainment). Ardisson would have admitted that he had made a serious mistake by giving such a platform to Meyssan. Ardisson disappearing underground, refusing to answer the questions of journalists working on this dossier at the request of Lecomte.
